This is such a fun concept, with options for everyone from coffee to beer to ice cream to gyros. Pretty much guaranteed to please a mixed group. Good atmosphere. So nice I went back the next day with another group. Even when quite busy there was parking not too far away, and we were still able to find seats.
Love this place, everyone in your party can get a different cuisine...!!!
Place is great and love the different place to eat here. I came for Monster hotdogs and left with a great leftovers
very nice service and good variety of options for food
On January 4, 2019 my friends and I decided to have American Eats for dinner, usually it s s great place for 10 of us to enjoy what we want to eat and drink, however on this particular night it wasn t so pleasurable for me, upon trying to order a glass of wine, I was told by the bartender her boss would not serve me, no explanation, just no, I find it odd when I was the only one in my party with no prior alcohol, was it because I laughed at my friends joke, or simply she didn t like the way I looked, could ve been a million things , I understand it was her choice, but I have to wonder why is it someone who was served multiple times had to be helped out the door from so many high content beers, but this 47 year old woman couldn t get a glass of wine .
Some of the best foods in town are located at this one location. I love getting coffee at the Cafe con Leche stand. Nothing else compares to this coffee for me
The food was very good. We had seafood and barbeque ribs. The ribs were tender and the seafood fresh. I like the food and beverages.
My partner and I recently moved to Tucson. I followed a lot of local eateries before we moved, and this is one of the places I most wanted to check out. Today we had our first Sonoran hot dogs from Monster Sonoran Hot Dogs and they were awesome. Next time we go we're going to try Pops Hot Chicken. Very open and welcoming place with some outdoor seating, too. Recommended.
Opa Time and The Bite is absolutely amazing!! Never unhappy when we come to eat here.
It's an awesome place to enjoy delicious food from a diverse selection of mini cafes. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The environment is clean and attractive indoors and their outdoor patio. We love going there.
Well laid out and nice atmosphere. Bar staff were friendly and a good range of beer.
Great food and fun atmosphere! Tonight I came to celebrate a dear friend's birthday and there was plenty of room. Staff was
Took friends here for the first time, we and everybody loved it!!
This place is a great addition to the Tucson culinary scene. It has a little something for everyone. I appreciate how they honored the prior owners with a set table, pictures and news clippings celebrating their contribution this community. This location is just another step in revitalizating the food scene in Tucson.
Location wasn't the greatest but the atmosphere & food were pretty good! The Bite's sliders were tastey & I'll definitely go back...
Wanted to like this place due to the novelty of a food court full of local businesses. But some of the places (like Monster Sonoran Dogs) are very bad/overpriced. And then no matter where you get food/drinks, the wait times are out of control. Like 40 minutes for food even when the place is empty, or an hour wait when there's people there.
Pop's Hot Chicken is good, but it's not worth waiting an hour. Just go to Popeyes until this place improves their logistics.
This is a great group of resturants and the staff is very friendly and nice. They pay homage to the previous building that was great American meat Co. There is a good variety of restaurants and there is a good seating area and parking available.
Very nice must admit on Saturdays it does get very busy so if you're not a people person I'd reccomend getting there before 4. I personally love the Greek restaurant called "Opa" and have tried both of their pastas I preferred the Penne Pasta more though, because I like saucier pasta. 10/10 reccomend great service and very hospitable a nice place to hang out and has a very homey feel to it.
Over-priced Food and Beer.
Stay home and BBQ!
Loved all of the options! Seriously great service at every restaurant we ordered from and everything was delicious!
I moved to Tucson recently. Once we relocated, I visited several local eateries and this is one of the places I wanted to try out most. We had our first Sonoran hot dogs from Giant Sonoran Hot Dogs today and they were awesome. We shall try More
Wasnt impressive or appetizing at all. Went to 5 restaurants there to try out what they offered and wouldnt recommend going again. However probably the most safest place we found in the area
Wonderful dining experience. We got food from Opa Time. Delicious and extremely generous portions. Prices reasonable. Watched as other customers got meals from the other different vendors and they all looked to be just as generous portions as Opa Time. This place is a huge food court. Looks to be in an older business/factory building, rather unique. Lots of space. USB charging outlets all over. Staff friendly and welcoming. Really fun experience. Easy in and out. There looked to be something for everyone. Woman who took our order at Opa Time just lovely.
Fantastic place to take family and friends. Excellent service Great Food and Friendly and helpful people that work there. GIVE IT A TRY ! YOU WILL REALLY ENJOY THE ATMOSPHERE ALSO .
Pizza is ok but not the best i still need to try the other selections. The bar was good.
Very nice place to pick up or sit down to eat. They have several choice businesses to choose from. Plenty of seating.
Local small business food court style eatery. Good variety, including bar, ice cream and coffee shop. Open seating. Includes small fresh meat market paying homage to the original American Meat Market that closed it's doors after 60 years of service to south side Tucsonans.
When they first opened it up the prices were reasonable now that they've been open for a while the prices are ridiculous I'll never go back there again
Love this place! There's something for everyone, casual, with indoor and outdoor seating.
Surprised what a nice selection ribs / meats ;Greek
Great food ; pizza many different slices ; Mexican
Good + Asian bowls -- nice bar + coffee bar..
An amazing place. I was here on travel for work. The owners were amazing, food was great, staff was polite. Only thing that I wasn't a fan of was the fact that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday, because I would eat there every day. Food for everyone great for gatherings since there are so many options.
An 11 year old child served my burger. I think he is enslaved. His name was Gabriel. I don t think this is legal.
Love thia place and the concept. Friend and fun environment
Omg this place is Awesome so many different spots to choose from to eat at... loved every spot
Didn't like bar concept of pay tip 1st. Meat market great
Love the food. The rustic look of the tables and chairs makes this place shine.
My mom and i used to go here when i was a kid. This was an old meat market now renovated into a multi eatery. Serving greek Japanese, draft beers... pizza, coffee. and if course a meat market as they pay homage.. to history. Cant wait to try them all.
This place is so fun. Everyone can get what they want. The upper crust here is just as good as the other one in town.
Granddaughter had ribs which she said were delicious! The mexican coffee was great. Has a variety of foods which I would definitely come back to try.
Excellent spicy chicken salad from Opa. Superb service!
Must come back.
I come here for the seafood! The guy is amazing at what he does, he is a natural!
This place kinda blew my mind when I visited here the 1st time. Multiple restaurant stands inside with tons of variety. Great food selections. The bar was fully stocked and bartenders knew how to make a drink.
The atmosphere was great and everyone doing their part on keeping customers safe!
I really enjoyed this new spot! It's a good place to go with a group, especially if not everyone can agree on what to eat. There are many options of food and decent seating. It's worth the trip, and I'll be back.
Update: on the second visit, many of the restaurants said they were closed, nearly 50 minutes before closing time. I'm also realizing the pricing is a bit high for Tucson standards. $7 for a slice of pizza?
I hope they will get their act together, or this new favorite might soon be history for my friends and I.
I was there with 2 other guests and as I walked in I appreciated the deco and the place seemed to have a pretty vibe. The concept of American Eats is pretty much a collaboration of restaurants that you can choose from and everyone shares the same dining area. In the dining area there are tables, booths, stools at bars, and picnic style tables. There are various cuisines throughout and I ate at Sliders, and if you can guess, they make sliders (burgers) here. My guests had their meals at a trendy Mexican flavor restaurant. To get to the point of my 3 rating was the service was lacking at the places we visited. Maybe it was the time of the day end of the evening, but i wont ever dish out a 4 star if I dont get Thank You's or Smiles.....Simple. The other thing is that for my tastes it's kind of pricey. 2 sliders with sweet potato fries, and a small drink was $18. For $18 per person I could have eaten up the street at Minidito Restaurant had a Margarita and chips and salsa with my meal! In all fairness there are other restaurants and definitely worth while to investigate all your options. Recommend :)
Please like the review after viewing! :)
Group made reservations. Upon arrival, discovered no where to sit. Walked out.
It's good to try once. I was really disappointed at the outrageous prices with a minimum of two different dishes for each vender. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
This place is "Lit" as the kids say. Damn good food and great prices. Cool place to hang and eat.
Many interesting places to get food here. Seems like every time I go, something new took the spot of something I was familiar with, allowing me to try new things.
it is a good variety of food having differ age children. everyone can get something to eat.
Great food. Fun atmosphere. Amazing customer service. Give it a try. You'll enjoy it
Add the bacon and blue cheese slider with French fries, very good and very filling. Would definitely go back again.
. One for all. All for one.meals.. family, friend, or co workers. Or being yourself!
Nice atmosphere and great food choices. We are regulars!
The owner of this place made a new creation for the south side community.. this place is super great if I could I would make this a 10/5 stars because the people that work here make you actually feel like a customer but honestly more than that.. they make you feel like family. I HIGHLY RECOMMENDED eating here!
First time visiting. So many options and I wanted it all
Great place to go when you're not sure what you want to eat. The tacos and Elotes are really good
Had a great Greek Salad at Opa. Almost opted for sliders at The Bite but one of the cooks and the cashier were both chewing gum ravenously. I get that it's a casual atmosphere but that is a little too casual and a tad gross. Overall it was a good experience and I would go back.
The bar tender does not wash her hands, for greek food you will pay 8 dlls for lettuce... Pizza are dry and flavorless... BBQ place, commercial; pre-made flavorless and expensive... Burger place nothing special; cheaper and better flavor in an Carls Jr... Those colectives of food stations should be improved and better give better selection of food and prices...
Great selection and variety of food. Good little bar with awesome draft beer selection as well
I never knew this place existed until today and what a discovery!!! Its basically a food court in the middle of town with a little bar and arcade attached. I loved the atmosphere and can't wait to take other people to eat.
Cafe con Leche is great coffee spot. Delicious coffee everytime. Rich in flavor and great price. My regular is caramel latte with almond milk. Its strong but sweet. The staff are always very nice and prompt with orders.
Tried the Mexican tacos and way too salty. Ordered twice and the ground beef was not edible due to the salt. Gotta try something else next time.
Went back about a month later with friends and ordered from 2 other vendors. Both had very very salty fries. I wont go back to pay so much money for salty food I cant enjoy.
If youve never been, go! This place is wonderful, and has food choices for everyone!
Very cool eatery. It's like a food court with elevated cuisine. We chose to eat at Pinche's. It was a delicious restaurant with unique twists on dishes. We had Torta sliders and totchos. Tater tot nachos with chorizo and guacamole. The salsa they had was on point. Perfect heat and balance. For desert we had Isabella's ice cream. The stand out of the ice cream was the whiskey chocolate. (Not for children) The whiskey taste clearly came through the chocolate in a delicious mixing of flavours.
I went over to American Eat Co. to try out the food at Dumb Fish. One of the my classmates, Ezra, from my honor's class is a chef there. I got a salmon poke bowl, and the lobster rangoons/puffs. Both were beautifully presented and delicious . All of the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is nice.
While there, I also tried a latte at Cafe con Leche. The staff there were nice as well, and the latte was yummy.
I love the set up of the whole building.
It sure is a happening place for lunch. Not enough parking. Several local eateries to choose from, and a butcher shop.
A highly recommended place, and many various options.
Terrific variety of good food choices in a friendly, unpretentious environment. Good place to meet friends for a beer and a meal with enough variety to satisfy all appetites.
