Classy architecture, constantly rotating art exhibits, tons of swanky bars, restaurants, coffee shops, a five star hotel, high-end shopping for just about anyone, a movie theater and so much more. Spring, summer, fall, winter there's always something different happening in Roppongi Hills. We love browsing the highly curated selection at Estination, United Arrows, and Beams. The observation tower and Mori museum are a cherry on top.

The roof top par excellence, or the heliport. By day you get to see Mount Fuji, in the evening it must be an even more impressive sight, with the vision of the Tokyo area and the humanity that populates it with a thousand lights on.

There's a few buildings that make up Roppongi Hills. It's really quite complex and I did get lost a few times trying to find a particular restaurant or store. Some restaurants were in building A for example and some were in building B. Clothing stores and luxury boutiques are scattered. It was honestly quite hard navigating here but I'm glad there were alot of information desks available to help you with directions.

One of my favorite districts in first sight, is Roppongi. It has an international flavor surrounding it, and the vibe seems pretty amazing. I didn t have much time to explore the area and only manage to be around here for an evening. I will need to come back. For now, it s up Roppongi Hills Mori Tower for a view of the city.

At the top of Roppongi Hills Mori Tower. One of my favourite travel activity is to see from a high vantage point the view of the entire city and to catch her pulse. Buildings here don t reach far into the sky but spans wide across great geographical areas, likely as Tokyo can be prone to earthquakes. If I had to describe Tokyo in one word from this vantage point, that word would be vast. A tower this high and I could not view the entirety of Tokyo. It covers a wide space, far beyond the horizon and beyond. My view is but a partial glimpse.

Shopping, eating and drinking, observation deck, you can do anything. There are many foreign companies in the Hills, many residents and residents of the Hills. So I think that there are many staff who can speak English of course.
I often do an event.
Hills points accumulate in the hills. Every store has it. I think that it is good to go with couples and friends in the illumination of Keyakizaka in winter. There is also a cheap and atmosphere bar (Rigoletto) on the 5th floor.
Each toilet in the facility is always clean.
There are also many toilets for wheelchairs.
Even if you come by car, there are plenty of parking lots in every place, so I think that there is nothing to worry about parking lot.
There is a baby stroller rental in information. There were staff who could speak English.

The roof is cut off on the way from the station when the rain falls, and various ideas are made at high class.
Especially in front of a movie theater, people in wheelchairs may not get wet because they can not get in directly by elevator.

Roppongi Hills is also convenient because it is directly connected to the station!
I miss the rotating door when it first opened.
The Mori Building has a 500-meter-class high-rise tower in Shanghai, but I would like Japan to build it as well. It's hard to do because it's a country with many earthquakes, but what about 458 meters and 458 Hills in the Yokohama MM area?

The second re-visit, four years before the last visit, is also the main purpose of the trip to Tokyo, and I never forget about the night view.

Still beautiful!

It is usually bought with a ticket for an exhibition. This time, Pixar Animation introduces how the delicate work in cartoons can divide the work and make the work.

There are many public art collections around this building, and it is a good place to stay from afternoon to night.

When going up to the top floor, remember to wear a coat, because it is not possible to stay until it is completely dark, which is a pity.

When the sky was very bright in the evening, many people were already stuck there. The green part in the middle of the top floor was where the emergency helicopter landed.

Then just take the camera up, and the wifi machine can't be used on the top floor.

From here you can see many famous landmarks in Tokyo, the Tokyo Tower, the distant sky tree, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Stadium.

When it was getting dark, many buildings also began to flash red lights (indeterminate intention). Compared with just now, each building seemed to have consciousness.

The interior lights gradually brightened, and slowly the Tokyo Tower turned on.

Later I started to shrink and it was really cold, haha, but I still supported the numb limb of myself for a beautiful night.

I've been to Hills since it opened, but maybe I couldn't go there last year.
In 2021, I saw the light-up of Keyakizaka for the first time this season.
Tenants change from time to time, so you need to check accordingly.
I like HANWAY, which can only be found here.

Roppongi Hills Bon Odori was in progress the day I went. Doraemon, Jingu, and Dew came out in front of the TV Asahi building and they were dancing together with the society, so I felt like I really came to Japan. It was just before the city, so after a quick ticket exchange, I took a look around the museum and went to Skydeck. (Usually Skydeck closes at 8:00 pm, but it's a special event, so it's open until 10:00 pm) It was too late at night + a lot of clouds. After seeing and taking pictures, I went to see the Pixar exhibition (a limited time special exhibition), which was on the verge of closing. Before riding the Elbe on the P.S Skydeck, you should leave all items except your cell phone in the coin locker opposite. Fee is free.
