How do you review a company HQ as cool as Google?! This is a paradise within NYC so many cool rooms, food areas, lofts, game rooms and experiences. This is invite only from employees or for events/ meetings so if you have a chance to go ditch work or do whatever you have to do to go!!

Best Google office in the world (full disclosure: at the time of this review, I am a Googler).
I can only compare the Google building to Willy Wonka Chocolate factory. Treats and surprises around every corner. One of the work rules is that one should never be more than a few feet from some nourishment. From candy hidden in lego minifig heads to a full on cafeteria that hosts world famous chiefs.
There are toys, game rooms, subway car meeting rooms, scooters for all to use & many more that I was not able to see as I was only a visitor.
The staff is always so friendly and that it was hard to leave, but leave I did only to hope to be back again soon.
There is a Google building in front of the Chelsea Market, and the high line is also in the best location condition immediately. Google purchased the building containing Chelsea Market for $ 2.4 billion. This area is one of what is called 'Google Hudson Square'.

Before I go into the reason behind my review, I would like to point out that I'm an active user of not only Google's free products but also their paid ones. I actively use google ads, AutoML, and have a google one subscription. I use several of their free products, but the one I would like to talk about is Google My Business (GMB).
64 days ago one my of verified and actively managed business listings was marked as a "Duplicate". A completely unrelated business (eyebrow salon) created a listing. We were forced to reverify our listing (grocery store). However, the salon has all of our customer photos and 1000+ reviews. After multiple email exchanges and phone calls with GMB support and spending over a dozen hours completing the tasks they asked of me, they said they found out our problem arose because of a technical issue. It now looks like the tasks they had me complete were absolutely useless. That was 43 days ago.
They told me to wait 7 days for the issue to be resolved. I politely waited and asked for an update. GMB support sent the exact same response back. I've sent them an email about every week since asking for an update or some sort of explanation, but they have not responded.
Our business has not been showing up in Google Maps correctly for over two months. Now I understand that GMB is a free service, but it feeds information into google's navigation products. These products account for over 75% of navigation app usage. So our business has no choice but to use GMB (as I pointed out we were already verified and actively managing it by responding to reviews, making weekly posts and uploading photos). GMB support has not resolved our problem and judging from the lack of communication, they are not even working on it.
Google controls so much of the market but has some of the worst customer support in existence. At this point, a Teddy Rosevelt style bust would be useful.
A most enjoyable week at the Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar Blue ! Meticulously looked after resort with beautiful surroundings, excellent food choices with lots of variety catering to everyone's needs. Beach location was perfect and hard working individuals always tried to keep the area clear of seaweed. Great week and would highly recommend. Thank you !

Had a chance to visit twice for social and business purpose. I had great tour from my host. I enjoyed the tour, interacting with Googlers, freedom of accessing the kitchen for coffee, cold drinks and bites. Quite, clean, best working environment.
Close to subway station. Amazing balcony and views of New York City on different side of the building. Wheelchair accessible working environment.

Hands down to the BEST office building i ve ever seen in my life.

I ve been wanted to go visit the building for so long that i couldn t help but being so so so happy as i was walking up and down the floors.
Showers, fitness room, rooftops, game room, lego room, coffeshops, free food and drinks, kick scooters... it is just a DREAM office building to me!
Now i get why so many people would like to work for google.
About 7000 employees just in the NYC office and about 70 google offices in the world

I love google, but don't waste your time coming in without an "invitation". The extent of your privileges as a tourist end at the button wall, which is basically a cool light up wall that spells out google. So, good for a picture and that's about it.
Stand out in front of Chelsea Market. The surrounding area is not an office district at all. According to the signboard, is it originally a Port Authority building?
This Google building is simply the best working place on earth, possibly. The rooftop has a breathtaking view on the financial district. Employees are allowed to bring guests in and I had a tour/lunch with a friend. The way they treat their employees is optimal - no wonder they are all motivated to give their best.

It's a great building in the world for Google Office. Very well designed and developed,decorated. I love this place so much better for fun.

Staff was very unhelpful and unresponsive to my business needs. Google needs to expand its support for business customers, especially since they force their products on businesses.

Had an amazing tour of the place. Everyone was super friendly and the space is extremely innovative.
I am having a continuing problem with Google Nest. I followed their instructions to return a defective device, and cannot get their attention to send me a replacement. I have spoken to them numerous times, emailed them and only get empty promises that they will be responding. This has been going on for over two weeks. I have not experienced such bad service from such a large company ever. They seem not to care about their customers. It will be a long time before I purchase one of their products again. SAD
The food was excellent, though the table service was severely lacking.
1) Some office politics as the company is growing so rapidly.
2) Some googlers can be difficult to work with, like ratnikov in NYC.
3) Google's attempts to branch out of its comfort zone of advertising has been uncesseful since Google glasses now to cloud.
Uncontrolled ,Terrible reviews section , especially fake reviews are not controlled by Google. Despite our warnings google did not do anything about it. FAKE reviews from competitors are so obvious and you cant do nothing about that. Bad Job By google.
Buying Things with Google Photos with
Pennsylvania and no video
I listed my business Top Island taxi on Google my business about 4 years ago. About 3 weeks ago I temporarily closed the listing for 2 days and I have been trying every single day since then to reopen the business following all the steps and instructions to reopen the business on google maps and on the google app.
I believe this is a way to force people to pay for google ads once you temporarily close the business listing on google maps the only way to reopen your listing is to pay google ad to advertise your business it is no longer free at that point. This is false advertising and there is no way to get in touch with google support or any live rep.
Currently my favorite Google office. There is Chelsea market on the 1st floor and an amazing bar in the basement (the Tippler). The space is very tight but the views and decor are beautiful. If you are a Googler or a guest of a Googler you should check it out.

Fun place to work. Three cafeterias, treadmill-desks, inventive decor, and colorful diversions when you least expect it. The people are crazy-smart but manage to be down-to-earth and laid back.
Google is officially 100% solar and wind energy. I would only consider working for an environmental company in the future. I've not been to the campus yet. I have never had a computer mind or math mind and had to work really hard on math to make the grades I got as a high school freshman.
I have to admit the first time I saw a Google car filming it really scared me. It has taken me many years to learn just how great and trustworthy Google is despite me being computer dumb. Being people smart has been valuable as well as learning as much as I can about computers.
Review subject to possible upgrade: as you can see in attached photo I only made it as far as the lobby as didn't have a meeting set but was hoping to see at least a glimpse of what might like beyond the barriers. It would be nice if they put info for the public about future events, tours etc. Hopefully I'll get a meeting soon and see the wonders I've heard of.

Apart from the above, any review on Google Maps that is not visible to the police or is not visible to public institutions is immediately rebelled. Why? After all, freedom of expression is a basic thing.

Google in NYC has mediocre customer service. I understand that being a software giant that customer service can diminish, but honestly I think its a tad ridiculous. The lack of interest in what the customer has to say and the harline guidelines that things are held to prevent any personable connection with the customer.
Amazing corporate offices. all of the conference rooms are named with a theme and its so funny!
