Double Play Dinning at Ripken Stadium Reviews

We came up from the Eastern Shore of Virginia to see the Ironbirds play. We are season tickets holders at Delmarva Shorebirds in Salisbury and we like to hit the affiliates of the Orioles each year as well. Well worth the four hour drive. The stadium itself is awesome, graphics, activities, food and drink. The staff was delightful as well, not to mention we went down and spoke with some of the players and they were very friendly as well. It was everything you like in a major league stadium but you still got that personal touch the smaller stadiums give you. Thanks

No real bad seat in the house, and not as expesive as a major league team

No wine for the wife except at the 1 bar area. Exiting was so horrible. No guidance at all every person for themselves terrible end to a decent night at the game.

Lots of baseball fun in an upclose stadium with great food choices and a family atmosphere, while watching a baseball that is full of players trying hard to get to the next level.

A great place to spend the evening with your family and friends. The club area is great to get out of the heat and the food and beverages are decent!

Getting there, soooo easy! Off 95, a left at the lite, go to the next lite, turn right and follow the road to the end and wala, free Parking!!! Always a nice treat. Wasn't impressed with the prices of food and drinks. Ex. Water 4.00. Not cost effective for families . Be prepared to spend

Great place to watch little league..we had a great time even though we only won 1 game ..can't wait till next year..wtg Mr Ripken

Love the feel of the park and being up close to the field. Food and drinks are a bit pricey. Fireworks nights are pretty fun and enjoyable.

Wonderful stadium with lots of free parking. We had the best seats in the stadium including dinner at the buffet at a very nominal price. Good job Cal.

Clean, family friendly environment, where taking the kids to a ball game isn't going to cost a fortune!!

Wonderful venue for minor league baseball; however, concessions are the downfall. Prices on every food and beverage item are as high as at every inner-city major league sports venue. Ridiculous to even consider having to pay for a simple meal for a family, so eat before or after the game elsewhere for some semblence of value. Food quality at the stadium has really gone downhill since the first season; yet another reason to look elsewhere.

Clean, very nice place, easy access, seating is great, need more restrooms. Food prices are average, staff great to deal with and friendly. Recommend.

Beautiful place but they charge way too much for food and souvenirs.

The ball park was lovely and the team was fun to watch. We had a rain delay but the rain themed music was inspired and entertaining. The biggest downside was the food! My burger was charred to a crisp and the hot pretzel tasted months old.

A great place for a family night out. With or without the kids.

I will choose 100 out of 100 times to take the family to go see the Ironbirds over the Orioles, great atmosphere, no drunks, no dumdums heckling at cussing at the players, super easy parking, easy in , easy out, one turn off 95, great baseball, low ticket prices, reasonable concession prices (still up there but not bad)

If you are looking for something fun, and inexpensive to do with you kids, this is the place! Lots of fun stuff for the kids to see and do, and a good selection of foods, and drinks. The price is great, and parking is free. If you check the schedule, a lot of nights they have fireworks after the game. Oh and they also play a little baseball if you are interested in that.

Lovely, intimate stadium for the Short-Season A League Aberdeen Ironbirds, in the Baltimore Orioles farm system. These are kids who are playing hard for their shot at the big leagues. Good family fun.

My grandson played baseball there once.It's a nice stadium.

Amazing !!! This was my first time I went with my church .Such an electric experience with T shirt give aways and the Iron Bird mascots keeping the fans entertained ...Will definitely be back !!!

My best friend worked here and got fired for a false accusation and got put down as non rehirable but yet Rebecca Chapman the housekeeping supervisor who fired her just over dosed on drugs in the bathroom of the hotel and they are giving her job back. So much behind the scenes fraudulent behavior goes on in this hotel! Most of the staff steal liquor an things taking them home, the hispanic housekeepers steal and start drama with everyone else. Before rebecca over dosed in the bathroom all she did was stay on facebook and yell at everyone. I would NEVER EVER IN A MILLION BILLION YEARS RECOMMEND THIS DRUG, DRAMA, AND DISCRIMINATED INFESTED HOTEL TO ANYONE.
ADITA, JEFF, AND REBECCA ARE ALL FRAUDS & MS.MERIMA SHOULD HAVE BEEN A SUPERVISOR!

The parking is convenient and free, and the tickets are so cheap you're cheating yourself if you don't sit behind home plate. For a day out at the game, you can't beat the Ironbirds.

Do you read the menu for the games? Tonight beside salads, we were to have fruit salad - I'm still looking for it. Assorted cakes for after dinner. The chicken was very good as were the potatoes. The cakes must be hanging out with the fruit salad. We pay a good price for the dinner, and you print out what we were having. True? What happened? The game was perfect as was the tribute to the Officers. Thank you for that.

Amazing stadium, great food and beer choices, and a good amount of parking. Stadium is kind of small, but in a good way. Not as much people traffic as most stadiums have.

Iron man's home town minor league stadium ... How do u pass that up right? Plus - the nicest little leave stadium I've ever seen right across the street.

Went to see the fireworks , missing my husband who i miss and love. Fireworks was beautiful and paking and leaving was a breeze.

Loved it! We are huge baseball fanatics and this made our day! It's not about the stadium it's about watching the game! Although good was great we enjoyed getting to see baseball players how off.

Great place. Don't have to pay for parking, all coolers are allowed and the place is very professional. Kids feel like they are playing for the major leagues... They also announce all the players at every inning and field. I definitely will come back.. Lastly, they supply cooler and cups for the dugouts!!! Down Fall: Umps could be better and at final game Ripken use to put four umps on the field and now they go with the traditional two umps...

Tonight was the longest EVER getting our of the parkimg lot. Only one lane, always been two. And the ballpark was empty. So very sad used to be fun but not any more. Sorry Mr. Ripen but your new management is NOT good.

Great little park with good concessions and no bad seats. Parking is free but getting out after a game might take a few minutes. It is single A ball but the games are exciting and fun. Great for younger kids and much cheaper than going to Baltimore.

Attended military vehicle show at baseball stadium. Stadium staff were very supportive of function. Lots of memorabilia from World War 2, Korea, and Vietman wars. Despite bad weather, it was a great turnout and lots of people attended. Very laid back environment and great experience to learn of historical events from veterans.

We always enjoy going to the Ironbirds games! Win or lose there is plenty of entertainment to go around!

A great place to visit looks like Camden Yards but only smaller some great historical facts in the museum also

Great little ball park you feel like you're at a big league game

Ripken Stadium is a pretty awesome minor league ballpark the only problem I see with it is that it's a short-season single-a team who plays here so the season is not very long. if you were in the baseball you should absolutely check out the stadium and the complex if they are building it is excellent.
