Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort Review

Great resort and excellent location near Epcot, lake view rooms can see the fireworks from EPCOT in the evenings. Walking distance to many restaurants and entertainment including bars and mini golf. About 1 mile walk to Hollywood Studios, or boat available. During our stay there was a light on the boardwalk hanging by its wires and we let the frontdesk and called the disney help line to have them come out and fix it before it fell on someone. During the next 6 days the light was never fixed, you would think Disney would fix something if it could harm a guest. Overall great experience.

Nicely themed. Very clean. Most comfortable mattresses. Walking distance to Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

If anyone out there is looking for great deals for hotels and resorts go over to . booked a hotel room on there and these guys had the lowest rates worldwide!

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was a beautiful experience the entire 10 days we were there! Cast Members were extremely helpful the entire time, and real friendly! Walking distance from Epcot and Hollywood Studios, and breathtaking views of the Boardwalk at night!

Captain's Grille is great! Fantastic food and service!

Although we were just passing through, we fell in love with this location and will seriously consider staying there in the future.

Yacht club is a very nice, yet expensive place to stay. All you could want or need is here or walking distance i.e. back entrance into epcot. The only knock is how surprising the high end Disney resorts have it all but the toilet paper and tissues are about as cheap as you'll find at a motel 8 o the like

It was the most amazing steak house I have ever been at atmosphere was amazing very welcoming to children waitresses were amazing can not speak highly enough about them able to see meat being cut meet chef who was informative can not say enough good about the quality of food and the amazing staff A MUST VISIT EVERYTIME VISITING

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Cape Mae restaurant at the Yacht Club and the food and atmosphere were fantastic!! We've been there too many times to count over 15+ years and it was better than ever this week!

The food was not great but the service and atmosphere was amazing

My kids say "One Hundred Stars" !!! Great spot, superb staff and activities. Nice pool + arcade. The proximity to a Coney Island style boardwalk and the water shuttle to Epcot and Hollywood Studios make this a premier spot for the fam.
Oh, and catch the evening Epcot fireworks nightly from the lighthouse!

Ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse. The food and service were amazing.

We had drinks at Crew's Cup and did the Illuminations boat cruise. The rise was great, drinks were good, and our captain was amazing. Highly recommend!

Thomas provided great service. Some great food was had by all. This place has unique things like roasted garlic to spread on the onion rolls, elk steak, variety-layered admirals cake, and much more.

Ale & Compass restaurant is excellent. The trout is amazing.

Always great. The people, the smell.... The Christmas decorations... The location is great also.

We actually had a character breakfast here and didn't stay at the hotel. All the characters came by our table at least once and sometimes twice and stayed for a fair amount of time. My son loved it! There was a good variety of food at the buffet which we all liked.

Loved the resort so close to everything and you can walk to Epcot.

The Yacht Club is beautiful! It was done up for the holidays and I was very impressed. From the tree to the miniature town with the most amazing details!! The stag was so friendly, nice, and helpful. At Ale and Compass the egg white omelet left something to be desired, but the buffet was more than adequate. I love the accessibility of walking between the hotel and EPCOT and Hollywood Studios.

Yacht and Beach Club are the best resorts at Walt Disney World, hands down-

Great location. Close to everything that you need. Epcot and Hollywood Studios are both within walking distance. Amazingly close to everything you need.

As passholders, we stay at Disney regularly, but this time our stay was extremely disappointing-- specifically, our room at Yacht Club, was utterly apalling. First thing we noticed is the toilet had not been cleaned OR flushed. Disgusting! Next, I grabbed a facial tissue on sink and it was sopping WET. I took off the cover, and entire box was soaking wet! If that were not enough, on a closet shelf, we found a full OLD soggy baggie filled with cheese nips. The cleaning crew needs to be FIRED!!!!! NO EXCUSE.

Nice place. Right on Disney's Boardwalk. Staff is very friendly. Be prepared to spend some money, it's not cheap.

Had the feel of an old resort but with every modern touch

Went there straight from the airport before waiting for our room getting ready. Delicious food with nice interior and pleasant staff made it to 5 star. Don t forget to order the dessert. 12 layered cake is good to share for 2

Rooms are beautiful in the classic Disney style everything is nautical. Pools are great. Bars are very cozy. Great place to bring your kids. The food was awesome.

Loved staying here. The staff was incredible and I loved the quaint feel in comparison to the bigger resorts. Everything was wonderful!

Had dinner at the Crew Cut Lounge. The menu is just a pared down version of the steak restaurant next store. Food and service was very good.

Ate at Yachtsman Steakhouse. One of the best steaks I've ever had and the truffle fries were great.

We have never actually stayed at Yacht Club but we try to visit whenever we are at Disney World. This time we only went over to Yacht Club to do a little pin trading at the desk and to check out the temporary store they have set up in the lobby. It's always nice and one day we will make our way over there as resort guests.

We had the most terrible experience this past weekend (12/8/17) at the Disney Yacht and Beach Resort. In fact, it was so bad that we left on Saturday evening and we had already been charged for the night!!!! The hotel is in major need of renovation (the Beach Resort). The walls are paper thin and I didn t get any sleep. Not sure if it was the noise or the itching I had all over my body. When we got there on Friday night, we hadn t had dinner and called room service inly to be told there would be a THREE HOUR WAIT for pizza!!!! At a Disney Resort where kids abound, a THREE HOUR WAIT for pizza. The man from room service suggested we go downstairs the the marketplace to get something to eat, which we did. $77 later we had flatbread pizza that wasn t cooked thoroughly and a few bottles of water & soda. The icing on the cake was the next morning we ordered breakfast from room service, which took over an hour, and when it was delivered it was COLD!!! NEVER AGAIN DISNEY!!!!!!! I wish I could rate 0 stars!!!!

Very nice resort however starting to show its age in some small details

Had breakfast at the Captains grille. I have eaten here many times and each time it is a fantastic experience. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the cast member serving us was friendly, smiling and always cheerful.

Attended a conference at the Yacht Club. All of the rooms and services have been wonderful and the employees are helpful and efficient.

Great experience. Was definitely worth getting the club experience. Get continental services all day. Great people

2/2018 Stay: Clean and beautiful resort with friendly staff. This resort is a very laid back environment. Not very loud or overcrowded. There are several quiet areas where are person can relax peacefully. Walking distance to four other resorts and Epcot.

9/2018 Stay: Second stay here, just as great as the first. Wanted to add.... the pool is amazing! We spent a lot of time swimming in the main pool, rear pool, and the kids pool/water slide behind the pirate ship across the street. We love the zero entry for our toddler, and water slides lazy river for our older kids. Pecan rolls are unforgettable and I make sure I get them several times during my stay. I had some reusable shopping bags go missing during my stay. The resort replaced my missing bags with ones from the gift store at no charge, a huge relief as these were used as carry on bags. We used laundry facilities this time, which only accept credit cards. Stackable dryers get confused and lose your money if you try to use both at once. You can reswipe your credit card (with no additional charge) and transfer your credits to another dryer and not lose your money (thank God). Do yourself a favor and just choose 2 separate dryers to avoid the aggravation. I prefer the Beach Club because the fridge is larger and there is more storage in the closet.

I went on an Illuminations cruise that departed from Disney's Yacht Club and took some time beforehand to check our the resort. Beautiful property and much quieter than Beach Club. Plus you get access to that pool! I can't comment on the room quality, but the grounds and staff are both top notch! Also, the Illuminations cruise is fantastic (especially with catered food and drinks!).

This resort seemed really nice. We were attending a social event.

Disney Experience is always great, if it's not, you're the problem.

Very nice, I had a problem with key upon check-in but it was fixed promptly. My room seemed very far from the front lobby which was annoying, but it helped to cut through the outside. Walking distance to epcot!

Birthday dinner at the yachtsman steakhouse. DELICIOUS!!!!!

5 star service from a five star hotel. Cast members went over and beyond there duty and couldn t of done any more. Hotel was clean well kept and rooms were well equipped. Loved this hotel so much we have already booked to return

The entire experience is amazing. Great atmosphere, rooms, and service. The pool is fantastic and there's always some sort of event going on. You can walk to Epcot in under 20 minutes which is great, and they have services to take you to the other parks. Love it!

Favorite deluxe resort. Almost as good as Pop century.

Very nice place. The desk is very helpful and bed was great to sleep on.

Great view and the employees were nice. The only issue we had was their magic band system was down for most of the day and it was a hassle to get things working with it.
