Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resort Review

Loved it, everything under one roof. Great bars and restaurants, Steakhouse is a great meal and pool is amazing with a lazy river.

Great location, lots of amenities. Nice and quiet. Worth a look if you want to go in style.

Its the best hotel in Disney property. I love this place. Its my second home.

They have redone the rooms and they are spectacular! They were great before but a little dated (only a little) but now the floors are wood and everything is modern including the shower, bathroom, closet and beds! This is THE place to stay if your are doing the parks, no question and no better place. Everything you heard about the pool is true and more!!

Made everything simple and easy. With shuttles and luggage service to and from the airport and resort. Best stay in florida so far!!

Decent service. Excellent food. Quality and presentation are commensurate with the price of the meal. I enjoyed the 16oz Ribeye with marrow and brioche.

Had a really great meal in the gentleman. Gorgeous hotel and view of epcot fireworks while we had our meal.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast in their cafe. Typical Disney cafe food. The pastries did not taste fresh, however the cast members were very courteous and friendly.

Ate at the yachtsman steak house. It was not worth the price for the steak

We ate dinner at The Yachtsman Steakhouse. Good quality food. Service was a little slow.

Every time I've stayed at Yacht/Beach Club the staff goes above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Only complaint is not a lot of affordable quick service restaurants and only one set of elevators, but the location is prime. Plus, I've stayed at every WDW resort and the Stormalong Bay pool kicks the pants off any other resort pool here.

Excellent Disney resort. Would definitely come back. Directly across form Disney's Boardwalk and a boat ride from Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Truly a delightful place to stay! Everything a family could wish for in a resort hotel and then some! Helpful staff from the minute you arrive on property taking care of everything you need. Beautiful rooms with all the amenities you would expect in a upscale hotel. Great dining experiences at all of the restaurants and bars all over the property. Pools with no compare anywhere I've stayed. They have a sandy bottom pool for the children, endless river for floating lazily around, a giant pirate ship water slide and much more. The poolside bars are a lot of fun too. Great drinks and reasonably priced! One of the best features is the ferry boat that takes you over to Epcot and back. Quite a fun place to stay!

Ate at Captain's Grille for breakfast. The buffet is a good deal and the service is great. I think I will try something on the extended breakfast menu next time.

Ate at the Yachtman's steakhouse and everything was great. Service was very good and great for families. Aged porterhouse was very good as were the sides.

What you would expect from Disney as far as very customer centric and a fun experience. Rooms were excellent with comfortable beds. Be sure to ask for a good view of the pool area.

Great location along the Boardwalk. Best pool of all of the resorts.

We had dinner at the captains grille. It was very good with good service. The restaurant is clean and quiet.

The place looks really fancy but it is really small and sometimes you get really bad views at your room. It is near the boardwalk and pools ,so I guess that makes up for it.

There is no better restaurant on the Qalt Disney World Resort property than the Yachtsman Steakhouse. It is fantastic. I recommend the Ribeye, get a side of Macaroni and Cheese to share with your party (probably good for 2-4 people depending on how much your table orders). And definitely get the French Onion Soup!!!! A big shout out to David, our server, who took care of us greatly!

Extremely clean. Love the scent in the air. It brings me back to my days of yachting on the coast. Very friendly people.

We stayed for 4 nights in September and had a great time. The room was spotless and the staff were very attentive. Cannot fault Disney in any way. Food, location, staff, pool, bar and boardwalk. Will definitely be returning. Well Done Disney.

Ate at cape May buffet in beach club resort but spent time exploring both resorts property. Beautiful landscaping and interiors. The food at cape May was pretty good, pricey but to be expected for a wdw buffet.

I visited for a session for a conference. It was nice.

Very high end resturant within the Disney complex. Limited menu heavy on red meat entrees. Very small portions of all entrees ordered by my party. Even with an employee 50% off coupon the food tab was well over $200.00 for four people!! (No cocktail price at the bar was under $10.00!). Superb service from 28 year waiter Thomas. Unusual menu item of elk filet, very distinct taste but also very small portion. Was able to fill up on the excellent toasted onion muffins that Thomas kept us supplied with. All food excellent but very small portions. I guess that is how the rich stay so thin! LOL.

Nice location near boardwalk for restaurants or park access. On site food &beverage mediocre. Price is on the high end for a convention are hotel because of Theme Park proximity.

Very nice rooms and staff. Hotel overall was beautiful and in a very good location for walking to parks as well as other attractions.

Stated on club level and the staff was amazing! Everyone was so pleasant and helpful, especially Hyacinth, who went above and beyond. Pool was a bit cold but loved the waterslide. Beaches n cream ice cream was SO good. Even the fitness center was enjoyable(well, sort of). A truly magical stay.

Been fantastic so far. Staff are super helpful, beds are comfy, room is spotless, excellent shower, and you can walk to Epcot!

We have been here to the Yacht Club resort 4 times now. It has topped the Polynesian and Animal Kingdom to become our favorite resort. It Has a spacious relaxing vibe. Yachtsman Steakhouse (currently Closed due to covid), is the best. The hotel itself and the entire pool area is always clean and very well maintained. The great thing about the pool area is there is a small lazy river. There is also a sand bar for kids to play on located in the main part of the big pool. Always lots of seating for grownups near the pool.. Hurricane Hannahs bar is right next to the lazy river and the sandbar pool area. There are cabanas for rent. Outside, the hotel itself, and the entire pool area are always clean and very well maintained. There's Not really a bad room Here because each Room Has Something Awesome about it so that you can say "oh this is a good spot" . The little market area is a great place to go for your morning coffee and breakfast sandwich. The staff are super friendly and always great with kids. We have never had a bad stay here and plan on coming back for many more staycations. During Covid, They have made a lot of changes to make it safer for staff and guests. I feel like the changes that they have made have Minimized the inconvenience for guest And maximized the safety for everyone. They've done it in such a way that you would expect a luxury resort to handle a pandemic.

Ate at Ale and Compass. Service was spot on. I had the seafood potpie and it was delicious. Nice atmosphere but crowded.

A short boat trip from Epcot, brings you to a wonderfully expansive ground. We dined at the Yachtsman, which was relatively easy to find. The overall experience was fantastic, the room we dined in felt like you were in a galley, the food, mostly steak, was sublime!

My favorite Disney Resort as it is centrally situated between Epcot and Hollywood Studios. This is the Resort to just sit back and enjoy the Magic of Disney, if you are traveling without children. I say this as the attraction lines at Epicot and Hollywood Studios are not as long as in the Magic Kingdom and there are lless strollers. As for the Resort itself, it has all that one needs. The Ale and Compass Restaurant and Yachtsman Stake House are excellent, then throw in Beaches and Cream the 1950 style ice cream parlor. Their Storm Along Bay swimming pool is beautiful and they are just completing the constructive of 4 pool side cabanas, which will be a available soon. The staff and service is excellent and the resort is spotless. A true Disney Experience.

My favourite Disney property, walking distance to HS and EPOCT, amazing pool with lazy river. The rooms have been updated like most luxury level hotels.
