Super large and beautiful, the appearance is beautiful and exaggerated.
It s even worse inside, murals, statues,
I really want to live here. Many people are inside, outside, wedding dresses, family portraits!
If you want to have a bag to get in, you need to go through the security check on the other side!
Then there is no embarrassment to take any cloth, and it is not possible to visit and make it.

A huge structure of good old times where architecture with fine art was priority.

It's centrally located as the name suggests, it has to be like this

Open place in front of the building to display its beauty is good and spacious. This area is not maintained well.

The building is beautiful! It's such a treat, with so much history! I was really impressed with the structure. The tour, however, was pretty horrendous. I work in a museum, and I have visited many historical sites (many capitol buildings), and this was unfortunately the worst tour experience I've taken. I'm sorry to be harsh, because you can tell that a lot of care went into it, but the program and tour need some serious updating. The older women that greeted us and gave us the tour were very nice, but we spent 40 minutes just looking at exhibition cases, that were clearly not done by a professional. 40 minutes wasted on plastic cases, when you could be exploring this beautiful building you're standing in! After that we were rushed because I had to leave for a flight, so I only got a few minutes upstairs to see the magnificent views and just briefly stepped into the Mayor's Office. I suggest a revamp- show the exciting parts of the building, let the people walk through the exhibit cases on their own before/after the tour. Find a museum studies intern to help refresh the cases, and hire a new young museum educator to redesign the tour. Until those changes are made, I'd skip the tour and just step inside the building to have a quick look around by yourself.

Its the prettiest city hall i have seen .It has a great architecture . They offer public tours which is a good option to learn more about its rich history. The tip i would give is to make sure to visit the upper levels as it gives a great view of the central area of the city hall. A lot of food trucks are parked outside for a quick meal after a tour of the city hall.

It is one of the beautiful buildings in San Francisco.
I was guided by an acquaintance living in the area.
It is a stairwell building, and the sculpture inside is very beautiful. It's so popular with photographers that it's also used for wedding photo shoots.

San Francisco is now famous for being LGBT-friendly, but it's also the place where the mayor and Harvey Milk were shot dead by a colleague's executive committee member in the past.

You can tour inside, but there is a security check.

Beautiful building. They have festive lights throughout the year for different occasions and events. It seems to be a popular place for company parties, holiday parties, wedding, etc. Also, it is where parades then to end.

Very beautiful building inside and out. Also, often sporting colors of the season, holiday or event. SF Giants colors looked great. And, this past weekend, rainbowed out for pride! Awesome place, I can see why people get married here. Yoga is often held outside. The building can be seen from 4 blocks away throughout all of Civic Center. Impressive sight. The San Francisco City Hall (San Francisco City Hall) was opened to the public in 1915 and is located in the open space of the Civic Center, in San Francisco, California. It is a monument of Beaux Arts style that is framed during the architectural movement City Beautiful that experienced the American Renaissance between 1876 and 1914. The structure of the dome is the fifth largest in the world. The current building replaced the original City Hall, which was completely destroyed after the 1906 earthquake.

Yikes, the city is great and all but what the hell are you people doing with the homeless. My uncle and I fled to San Jose to vacation because within 24 hours I saw...

Man was stabbed in union square
7 spots of human feces
13 new/used syringes in the streets

Richest city in America is quite the stain on the country! Fix it!

San Francisco is a great destination to spend 4 or 5 days. Magnificent views of the bay, Alcatraz Island, families of sea lions, flocks of pelicans, etc. Great stores to buy souvenirs, Alcatraz shirts, magnets, etc. The famous trams. The Golden Gate. Chinatown. If you go in summer wear a jacket because it looks like winter
