Hi,

Hi,

The website button takes you to some private company weblink. This is not correct. Google please check and correct the same.

Please ensure that on pressing the Delhi High Court website button one reaches the Delhi High Court website and not to some other place.

Delhi High Court is one of the most popular high Courts Of India (After Bombay & Kerala). It has more than 50 court rooms. Infrastructure is top notch. Newly constructed building of Delhi high court is just outstanding. There is huge cafeteria inside court premises. There is enough space for litigants & advocates to sit in premises. Security is great. You need to have advocate ID to enter the court. Although advocate gown is not complusary to sit in court rooms unlike Supreme Court Of India. There is 'Advocate bus' stand just outside court. Delhi High Court is at a walking distance from Patiala House Court & Family Court. It is around 10 min from Supreme Court Of India. Chief Justice Of Delhi High Court sits in Court Room Number 1. Both new building and old building are interconnected via long corridor. There is lift facility in both buildings. There are escalators in New building. Also, In new building, court rooms have transparent wall of glass so one can easily have glimpse of live court proceedings without even actually sitting in court room. There are huge indicators outside court rooms indicating matter numbers. Cleanliness is very good. Toilets at each floor. There is huge library for advocates in court.
Thanks!

Its a temple of learning and one of the rare gems amongst many high profile mediocrity that the Indian courts are notoriously famous for. Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation deserves a special mention for it's professionalism in their style of working.

Purposeful and a brilliant example of the majesty of the Indian Judicial system. It is always safer to stay away from courts as the procedure takes a toll on almost everyone but if your need is to be fulfilled from Delhi High Court your experience is going to be pleasant than most other court visits.
The infrastructure leaves most visitors spellbound as it is top notch, it instills confidence in the minds of the parties that their case is in the right hands at the right place. The aura and environment of the place demands respect from each individual and is a gentle reminder that no one is above the law.

If you are an ordinary citizen, you can come from Gate 7, after obtaining an entry pass from the registration office. On holidays, entry is from Gate 5. In both cases, you need to show Adhar card, or a valid identity proof. For entry pass, you also need lawyers stamp or signaturebesides your I'd proof. The Parking remains
closed on holidays, as per my experience.

Other than the heavy traffic on the road, everything runs smooth in Delhi High Court. Common people need a 'pass' to enter the actual courtrooms and underground parking on the other side of road.

Huge traffic congestion becoz of stubborn lawyers. They park their vehicles on road and not in the automated parking area and you dare not mess with them. They will thrash you then and there. Even the traffic constables can be seen standing helpless. Complaints to the administration of high court against this illegal parking is also of no use. Pathetic situation. Don't use personal vehicles for going to this place.

It is my place of work and I am proud of it.

Today the Delhi High Court has inaugurated and added another building to its complex. I believe the delhi high court would now be the first and probably the only high court in India with more than 50 court rooms.

The place is maintained properly with professional agencies taking care of the cleanliness and hygiene.

The security is up to the mark and one cannot enter the court complex without proper permission / pass.
