Danny's Bar and Grill Reviews

We sat at our table and waited for service for over 15 min. Which I could maybe understand if the 2 servers in our section had more than one table each but they did not acknowledge us besides running past our table and sitting with their other patrons. We attempted to get their attention but they appeared to ignore us by all means such as running past our table.it would have been nice to have one of them stop and say they were done if they were and go to the bar for service

Great place to hang out with friends have a beer and a burger.

Been here 20 mins and they all looked at our table and keep walking. And they seemed like we was a huge deal they had to wait on us.

Food was average for what I expected from the menu. Staff were friendly but took way to long for refills. Drinks were way to expensive!! Its a decent bar and all but I probably won't be going back. I would say pass on this one.

It has the a better then average atmosphere, and food for a neighborhood sports bar & grill. Great place to watch a Chiefs game or any other sport. Plenty of big screen tvs. Nothing like the rest of the trendy Legends area.

Food is always good. Tuesday is taco Tuesday so they are on a very good deal. The fried mushrooms are the best

If you are just wanting to drink only ..., this place is allright...
Grill is poorly managed , awful waiting staff , and you wonder if your food is cooked properly ...

Junk. Small town favoritism. Be prepared to fight the underaged kids they serve.

Best food that I've pretty much had. Best Burger is the burger with the egg in it

Just a little drive for me but meeting a friend there it was well worth it. The chicken fried chicken with of course mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans was delicious which my friend recommended. Also has the big screen TVs and pretty good Margaritas actually for a decent price. I will definitely go back.

The food is very mediocre. I ordered cheesy pasta dish, the sauce was their queso dip & the bread was so hard it made a noise on the plate. The service was bad as well. The waitress rushed us & told us we were her last table.

Bartender Rachel I believe was fast and efficient great atmosphere and lots of space

So 3 of us walk into Danny's Bar & Grill North last night after we finish bowling to grab some tacos. Our group gets there between 9:50 and 10:05 at least 2-3 times a month on Thursdays. Our group consists of anywhere from 3 to 8 people every time we go. We've never had an issue getting tacos at this time before. However last night, the waitress, cook, & manager all stated that they stopped serving food at 10pm and we can't order tacos. Even though the 3 signs on the doors to walk in the place stated that the taco special runs from 4pm - 11pm. I suppose if your business doesn't want to run the special you are advertising you should change the signs you are posting. If you don't want our business 2-3 times a month, that's fine....Hooters, or any of the other restaurants in the area will be glad to have our business. I refuse to walk back in your restaurant until I get an apology of some sort!

Just moved into the Legends area from the other side of the city. A few of my friends and I were hoping to use this as our new base to play PPD remote dart league a few times a week. So today, for the first time, I went in at lunchtime for some online games, some lunch, and a couple of beers. I got 1 of the 3. The place was not that busy. In the 30 minutes I was there, at no point did one of the waitresses come and ask me if I wanted a drink or something to eat (although the girl at the door did hand me a menu when I walked in). After 30 minutes, in which time numerous waitresses passed me, and even bought fresh beers for the 2 guys at the table behind me who were playing Golden Tee, I left. Not a good first impression. I"m only putting 2 stars instead of 1 because I was at least able to throw a few darts; the board was working fine.

Great to go on Taco Thursdays. Buffalo Chicken sammich was lacking though. Will be sticking to cheap tacos and cold beer on Thursdays

Went with a buddy, had a good time. Sat at a table, and had a couple beers. More televisions than I expected showing all sorts of sports. Good place for a guys night out.

Stopped by on a Tuesday. Wasn't exactly sure what I wanted as I was just looking for lunch on my own. Got their wings and was soooo satisfied. I've been telling everyone about it.

Great chili cheese dogs. They use Nathan's 1/4 pounders. Sweet tea isn't my style, but that doesn't mean it's not good. Just a little too much lemon flavor for me. Good though if you like a little flavor in your sweet tea though.

The place was hopping when I arrived on a weeknight. Had ordered takeout. Food was hot and tasty. Good bar food. We'll go back to Danny's and try it again for a sit down. Lots of beer choices. Lots of families there. Hope this review helps.

Had a reveal party reserved it but our area wasn't ready service slow

The worse bathrooms I've ever been in. Makes me worried about what the kitchen looks like. The service was great. Love to have a few drinks here..adding to my post. Back again and I didn't think bathroom could be worse but I was wrong. No soap, papers towels all over the floor. It didnt look like they cleaned the toilets since the last time I was there. And that was a couple of months ago My food came out all wrong and I sent it back and it came out wrong again. Will probably not eat there again. But the drinks are still ok.

Met some family here for breakfast. Just OK all around.

On my last visit in July I left my phone at the table I qas sitting. The attentive waitress rushed out side and found our party returning my phone.

First time there was Saturday night. Waited at the bar for about 25 minutes without being served. I had a group of about 10 people with me and we took our business elsewhere.

First time there but the food was good, service was lacking though

We called for reservations they said it was fine. We come they seat us . Then tell us appetizers only . No meals nothing . What type of food places says that . Not happy .

This was our first visit there. It was very busy! Which is a great sign in my book! And the staff was able to keep up with our orders and everything. Very courteous staff. We tipped our waiter very well. He had a lot going on no doubt. Also a couple of other staff helped us out as well. Seems like the team does a pretty good job working together. Food retail can be a pretty tough business I know from experience. Hopefully everyone there is happy as we were!

The service was terrible and the food was cold. We were seated and our waitress didn't show up to the table for almost 15 mins to get our drink order. It was obvious that our waitress clearly did not like her job. She never smiled and I wouldn't call her friendly at all. We ordered Country fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy and green beans and 6 tacos. When our food arrived the country fried steak and sides were barely warm. The tacos came out and there was no taco sauce. Waited almost another 10 mins to get the waitress to bring taco sauce. We ate the food anyway because we were hungry. I gave it one star because she got the water with lemon & the jack and coke right. Not sure that we'll go back.

Went to Danny's' north before a Sporting KC game. Service and food were both really good.

This place always has great food, good service and good atmosphere. Tons of TV's and projectors if you're interested in watching the games. Music is always playing but you never find yourself yelling to talk with your friends.

Joslyn F., our server first approached us with a negative attitude. She tossed the coasters across the table. When she took our order, she didnt write anything down, which consisted of messing up part of our order. Wont lie, the food is amazing! In my opinion, it took way to long to bring a check and collect it. Especially being her only, or even one of few tables she hosted. She had on a hoodie that only covered her arms, which then lead too her goodie dragging across from the table.

We been here before and had excellent service. this time was just not what we expected.

$0.75 Taco Tuesdays can't be beat! They're legit delicious, homemade salsa so surprising to find in a local strip mall bar. You can upgrade to chicken tacos and soft shell for a buck more. I recommend this to anyone looking for decent bar food!

Pretty cool place but the most horrible customer Service. First time being here.
We had our appetizers eaten before our waitress came back to the table to take our meal order. Sat at the table 1hr 20 mins before we got our food. Will not be back.

Food has no taste to it, rather bland with no flavor. It use to be good but not sure what has happened or why the food had no taste, also they undercooked the food.

Grilled chicken was awful. It had been marinated or seasoned or something...nasty taste. I sent it back for the patty melt...delicious. Waitor Matt was awesome.

Good specials, beer and food the best tater tots I've ever had. Chicken strips with tots only 7.99 (on appetizers part of menu) 6 strips! Lightly breaded, oh my good stuff. 7 big screens, plenty of viewing action.

Great food! Tater tots are the Best! Had a large party and our waitress Leona was excellent!

Went for lunch with my daughter and she ordered the bacon wrapped hot dog. The bacon was raw, the hot dog was cold and was sitting on onions and pickles. None of it was edible since the bacon was raw. I was served a small bowl of cottage cheese that had a yellowish liquid on top. Basically, the food was inedible.

Slow service. Bad food. My friend was attacked in the parking lot by 3 guys that thought he was staring at their girlfriend that they all evidently share. Spent our evening filling out police reports. Never going again.

Good food, Good service, will be back and will recommend to friends.

Just walked out of Dannys due to an extremely rude waitress named Chelsea and horrible service. This is apparently not the job for her. After we order it took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Then when it comes its actually cold. After we informed the waitress of the cold food, she then states what do we want her to do about it because she is not the cook. Like really. So i asked for a manager and her response is there arent any. Wow. Im so done with that place.

A lot of good food for your money. Daily lunch specials. TV's to see your favorite sport. One of our favorite places to eat.

The name has changed and the facility has been remodled and the food is better than ever. This is a great place for lunch. The service is great and the food preperation and selection are just as good. Give it a try. You will not regret it.

We went to the Kansas City location to watch the royals home opener. My boyfriend got food poisoning from the pork tenderloin sandwich and has been sick for three days now. Cant say I didn't see it coming since the restaurant smelled like sewage. They kept walking by and spraying air freshener. In their attempt to be inconspicuous my water tasted of cleaning solution.

Great service and food is great waiters and waitresses are beautiful and friendly. I will return soon.

My coworkers and I have been coming here for years for taco Tues/Thurs, but it has progressively gotten worse. We come with a large group which I understand can be stressful but it seems like each visit we get treated worse and worse, At this point their refusal to push tables together for us or allow us to use "the stage" makes me feel like we are just an inconvenience to them. I hope this changes soon or we will find a new weekly ritual.
