Had the "Texas" cobb salad. It was a good size, of not a little on the large side. Shrimp were seasoned well, bacon was crispy and had the right amount of salty for me. I also liked the avacado being spooned, not just wedge sliced.

Also had the creme brulee for dessert. Overall it was good, but I like mine with a little more vanilla flavor.

If you're looking for some fine dining in Boerne, you definitely have to visit this place. The restaurant is really decorated nicely, especially for Christmas! I tried the crab cakes as an appetizer and then the buffalo burger as the main course and they both were very tasty. The burger is served with several choices of sides, and there is a good amount to choose from. I received great service from everyone, from the hostess to the waitress who took our order. Upon entering your temperature will be taken by the hostess before seating you. Reservations can be made here and I would recommend doing so, as the night we webt the restaurant was almost full.

Great food, good service, and the owners have a lot of fun in their kitchen.

I always get the roasted chicken at Cypress. IT IS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE PLATE AND VERY DELICIOUS! Have been going there for years. Thank you for all the great food. Best in Boerne!

INCREDIBLE place and INCREDIBLE food. Even got to meet the chef and told me Guy Fieri needs to come out to this place. This is a 5 star hidden gem. The stuffed quail....OMG! Heaven. Ahi tuna and salmon tops this list as well. This is a well worth trip to Boerne from San Antonio and will definitely be going back!

This place has more of an 'upscale' vibe with less of the upscale prices. Food was very good and plated nicely. We came for breakfast and I got the corned beef hash and eggs (w/ spinach), and came out in a large nice bowl with halved fingerling potatoes, corned beef cubes, topped with an egg over easy.

Eveything was delicious, smoked chicken was fantastic, and the double baked potato was a revelation. Also... Ahi Tuna Nachos will blow your mind!

I loved breakfast, do not stop going to this place.

I cannot say strongly enough that this place is fantastic. I'm a little late to respond, but my wife and I had our rehearsal dinner here. The wait staff, menu, wine selections, everything was absolutely perfect. The wait staff serving our party of about 20 people were phenomenal.

I want to thank Cypress Grille for the great evening, it meant the world to my wife and I. I give my strongest possible 5 stars to y'all!

A wonderful experience in Dining in Boerne. One of the best wine menus locally. The owner knows his wines. The menu is regularly delicious but the specials are unusually delightful changes to the usual favorites. Service is outstanding. One of our favorites whether a special night or just a nice dinner after a long day. You will love this place.

My party and I walked in around 7PM on a Tuesday. People were at the bar but it wasn't crowded. We asked for a table and sat near the window and was told someone would help us. After about 15 minutes we left because no one came to help us. I posted a review on their Facebook Page and they responded quickly with an apology and invitation to visit again. When we went back on Thursday 11/5/15 the server was knowledgable on all the items on the menu including the special of the day & desserts! We had a personal apology from the chef working that night we first went in. (Which wasn't necessary, but very nice of him to do!) Over all the food was good, the prices are reasonable, and the environment is great!

Would have given it 5 stars before last night. The food was great as usual. Seems they are short staffed and not very organized. Requested a booth for four last Monday for Saturday night. Got there was told no booth was available. (there were three open. One stayed open for the first two hours we were there) Food was excellent. Waiter was young and inexperienced but did his best. Paul you may need to hire some more experienced people if there are any available that actually want to work in Boerne. I know it's hard to find people to actually show up and work.

Nice $$ menu with good selections. I had the portobello mushroom pasta with asparagus. The red wine vinegar overpowered the dish but I would go back

Wonderful lunch specials. Always have trouble deciding what to order. There is always great daily soups, and yes, fresh made icecream--5-10 flavors daily!! This is also a great romantic place in the evening with an extensive wine list.

Had a great steak and the wine was good. The lady seated next to us was overserved and a bit obnoxious bit the staff was very professional in taking care of her.

nice atmosphere... full bar and wine bar....nice touches on familiar selections and some creatively 'branded' dishes.. lunch specials.... dinner specials....our 'go to' for visiting family or business meets... love it

Quiet, Chef food is outstanding, wait staff friendly, good portions!

We were in town for the night and were looking for a place to have dinner. Our hotel suggested this place so off we went. It's listed as casual dining but it's a bit more fancy which is fine but my family and I felt underdressed. It's also on the pricey side. My biggest turnoff was my son's buffalo burger which was practically raw. The pros of this place: I believe they use local ingredients, the service was really good and I loved the decor!

An okay restaurant, but I have some major issues with this place. A: their service is decent, but we noticed that the waiters gave dirty looks to those who gave complicated orders, which is not professional at all. B: The food was excellent, but my sister's Buffalo Burger was not cooked correctly, and finally C: the design of this restaurant is fancy, but the color scheme is off and kind morose.

The Cypress Grille is a real treat in Boerne. Their pulled pork sandwich is one of the best. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was delicious- scallops were perfectly cooked, so was the ribeye. Main reason for the 3 star rating was the servers' lack of knowledge about the dishes and inattentiveness and the noise level in the restaurant.

We came in for the first time after reading the reviews, after a not so great experience with our server Mr. Thompson came out and spoke with us. He could not have been any more accommodating and genuinely wonderful. We were getting up to leave, but after speaking with him we decided to stay and all I can say is I m so glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing!!

We had the pork chop and the pork shank. It was delicious. Price reasonable. My pork shank was huge. So tender that only a fork was needed. Service was good. Friendly wait staff. We were seated quickly. Nice atmosphere too. Casual dining. Easy listening music. Will definitely go again!! Steak prices at 25.00-30.00. Kinda pricy.

Great menu, easily the best restaurant in Boerne. Wine list is a wine lovers dream. Bottles of all different price points and varietals. Atmosphere is high end but not stuffy and staff is friendly and accommodating.

It was has a nice environment, but it took too long for our server Chris to take our order. My wife and I overlooked that because we were in town after a long day of traveling. Once we were served our meals, Chris never spoke to us again until we were finished. He was so busy taking care of a group of ladies that he overlooked us. We ordered only Cobb Salad because we had a late lunch. I never got to order my second beer because he was so busy with higher paying customers which means a larger tip. I am a business owner and great customer service is the ultimate goal in order to be successful. Chris needs to understand that every customer is just as important as the next. We had to wait for about ten minutes for him to bring our ticket, because he had to get a second bottle of wine for the group of ladies that had a great time... we didn't.

Excellent food and service. Our group enjoyed the salmon club, pulled pork sandwich, and buffalo burger.

Had my Birthday dinner at Cypress tonight. Blackened scallops were wonderful with vanilla bean cream Brulee for dessert

Excellent restaurant with a tasty menu. I dined in this restaurant with my husband and friends and we had a great time. They have a varied menu with beef, seafood, chicken all of which with gravy and seasoning that makes them all seem delicious. I can recommend the Steak Diane and Pork Chop. They also have a very good selection of wines.

Presentation was beautiful. Watched many dishes coming out and everyone's was so pretty. Alex our waitperson was the best, she explained everything and so pleasant. Actually everyone there was great. We can't wait to go back. I will be trying their lunch menu next.

Service, food, and ambiance was great! I had the beef medallions and my husband had the seafood pazole. We both enjoyed our dinners and the service was friendly, too.

Absolutely wonderful! Stopped for lunch. Mouth watering food! Everyone loved their meal. Relaxing setting. Met the chef. The wait staff was was terrific.

What a gem! The service was great, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, the toilets actually smelled nice, the food was heavenly. It was the first time in while that I've been to a restaurant that didn't have any tv screens and no one was in their phone, so refreshing! We'll definitely be back!

Upscale, gorgeous place tucked right in the middle of town (boerne). The food is fantastic! Be sure to ask about the soup of the day. We had Shiner beer cheddar soup and had a strong desire to lick the bowl. Mmmmmm!

I feel like this restaurant tries really hard to be a gourmet, high-end place, and it succeeds on some levels, but not all of them. Overall, the food is great. Everything tastes fresh and most of what I ve had has been exceptional in flavor. However, there have been a couple amateur cooking errors that I ve noticed. My angel hair pasta was over cooked and mushy, and the blackened scallops were barely braised and underdone. Beyond that, the food has been fine.

I m mostly only giving this restaurant 3 stars because it doesn t quite fit the bill of a gourmet restaurant. I don t feel like I m anywhere fancy when I m here. Lighting is dim and perfect for date night, but it s not as romantic when you notice the table splitting and the bench fraying, not to mention the Dollar Tree table decorations. I m not being sarcastic, the Dollar Tree sells these same salt & pepper shakers, along with the fake plastic tealight candles. Also, the bathroom is a joke. It s a fast food style restroom with cement floors that desperately need cleaning. I typically wouldn t mention a restroom in a review, but I just feel like if I m paying over $150 on a meal for only two people, my entire experience must live up to a pretty high expectation. I ve been in cleaner and nicer restrooms in cheaper places like Denny s or Red Robin.

Very good food, but the portions are also very small. I'm not a very big guy and the amount of food I got was not enough to fill me up.

This time for lunch I had the Grilled Portobello Mushroom Pasta. It was absolutely delicious. It had spectacular flavor, cheesy and the sun-dried tomatoes were soft and seemed fresh, unlike others who rehydrate the tomatoes. I always have a glass of Dr Loosen Reisiling and their creme brulee dessert. They serve Douwie Egberts coffee - one of my favorites. I highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner. It is a little pricey but worth it.

Had Sunday brunch at the Cypress Grille with friends. Meals were ok, got buffalo burger but was undercooked. Others got salads which were fine. Service was good. Overall an ok meal but nothing spectacular.

Great meal with lovely service. Pleasant ambience. My steak with chimichurri sauce was delish, but the scallops weren't quite as much food as we'd have expected. Still, a great meal.

Excellent fine dining in Boerne Tx. Everything I have tried from steaks to seafood in addition to sides and salads were all great. Service was excellent.
