It was clean all staff very friendly and welcoming.

Go active activities were brilliant for the kids particularly the woodland archery the instructor was fantastic with the kids.

We don't often say we would go back to places so easily but we would definitely come back to Crowhurst Park a lovely holiday we highly recommend.

Awful bar service turn up to quiz night and they run out of quiz sheets! Even though we booked and they refused to give us any surely they can print off spares or use a photocopier we even said we would play and bought a round of drinks. I thought the holiday overall was good but let's be honest it's not all that great needs updating the whole site. Right I'm off to get a curry not staying here to eat! Specially after the rock solid pizza I had the first night.

Great place to visit and completely under the radar! No one I've spoken to had heard about this place before. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The cottages are really spacious, well built and comfortable. They have a timetable of activities you can partake in throughout the week (archery, water walking, scuba diving etc). The beach was a 15 minutes drive from the site and Battle train station was approximately 5 minutes away by car. There is a cricket field and a mini fishing pond. Another bonus is seeing loads of rabbits running around!

Would recommend the park if looking to explore hastings and battle good location, restaurants and big sainsburys close by.

Lodge -

Lodge 4 vermont was lovely well kept, shower could have been doing with reselling/scrub to remove mould spots. However everything else was clean. Great sized Lodge. Steps and outside very slippy when raining.

Pool -
The pool facilities needed a good clean the kids toddler pool was really slipy felt slimy on your feet. The baby change area was a good size. Bonus that they sold snacks and swim nappies. If the pool and surrounding area had a good clean would definitely return.

Bar-
Bar staff were friendly. Reasonably priced. However no music/jutbox or entertainment.

Games room-
Area was well kept. Good for over older kids 6/7 and up.

Restaurant-
Good variety of food well priced. Small.

Atm I wouldn't return however would if the pool area was in better order a good deep clean. Would be great if the bar are had music.

I can only speak about the swimming area.it used to be very good but lately the service has not been satisfactory. The water has not been the temperature that makes it comfortable to swim in. The pool has been closed too ofter for repairs.

Excellent accommodation, we booked a 3 bed lodge, very clean, very comfortable. Situated between Battle and Hastings the Park is handy for the Sussex/Kent coast. Staff at park very helpful and welcoming.

Can t comment on the bar/restaurant as did not try due to COVID and wanting to stay safe. General standard of the lodge was fine, comfortable bed, nice powerful shower and sun trap outside area. Very hot day when checked in to the lodge, it had been cleaned but the curtains were left open so it felt like an oven. Cooking utensils were quite basic and would have been nice to have had some more toilet paper and perhaps some bin liners, nice touch too would have been some ice cubes ready made in the freezer. Location wise it s a little overlooked and on top of each other but that s clear enough in the photos, lovely location but just don t expect luxury.

They also do amazing weddings.

We had our special day on 29th Aug and it was perfect! Abi is absolutely amazing and her team too. From the moment we booked our date and spoke to Abi we knew that she was passionate about her work and we were in very safe hands. Nothing was too much trouble and we could arrange a meeting if need be to discuss any worries or just a catch up on how things were progressing.
On the wedding day everything was perfect, the reception room looked stunning, even lovelier than the image i'd had in my head for almost a year!
The food was absolutely fantastic and our guests remarked on this and praising the Chef.
All in all i would 100% recommend Crowhurst Park as a wedding venue. It is extremely good value for money and the staff are very helpful and friendly and Abi (who's attention to detail) is a star!
Thank you so much Crowhurst Park for a truly magical day.

We were staying in Ontario 24 this week , Monday to Friday, and at 0400 this morning a high pitched alarm went off, despite calling all emergency numbers we go no response, and no more sleep, came home a day early, pretty sad

Stayed in a Virginia lodge for a week in September. Lovely, clean lodge. Staff really good and helpful. Site really well kept. Only disappointment was in the brochure description the wi-fi was free in the lodges. There is no wi-fi in the lodges even if you offer to pay for it. A disappointment, but nonetheless we still enjoyed our stay here.

Houses neatly finished and spacious. Especially the walled part is very nicely decorated. View is magnificent.

Pub in the park is good, and neat.

Swimming pool a bit dated, but well maintained, and nice!

Minuses:
- Park is also used for weddings, so the beginning of the park attracts some traffic, so it's not as quiet as you might hope.
- Some houses really a bit old-fashioned

Gym is usually quiet, facilities are pleasant, equipment is fairly modern. The location is smart and fairly well maintained and there is a clubhouse and bar and restaurant on site. I only have experience with the gym and pool but there is also a wide range of accommodation and holiday homes but i cannot pass comment on these.

Holidayed here for 2 weeks in one of their wooden lodges. The lodge itself is not really geared for families staying for that length of time who might want to cook; fridge too small, freezer only big enough for a few ice blocks and very little cupboard space. You end up having to visit the shops nearly daily. But then other than the hassle, it didn't overly matter as you're only a mile and a half from shops while the location leaves you feeling like you're in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful tranquil setting overlooking views of rolling countryside and the sea in the distance. Not sure if we were just lucky but we heard no noise from any other lodge or holiday-maker, adding to the peaceful relaxed feeling. Biggest hit with all of the family though were the leisure facilities. Daily visits to the pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room meant we had very little time to watch the disappointingly small TV. Locals can be leisure club members, but they're only too happy to have a chat in the sauna and allow you to tap them for insider detail on local attractions. Didn't really use the main House bar or restaurant, but justing by the number of weddings they had in our 2 weeks they can't be bad. Don't be fooled into going to the "family" quiz night, your kids will get very bored as it's not at all family orientated! Overall a great place and we were very glad we had our holiday there.

I was one of a group of about 40 people and enjoyed a delicious meal in the restaurant in Crowhurst Park. The venue seems perfect for weddings, etc., as the building is delightful, as are the views.
