CLUB MAHINDRA EMERALD PALMS( FORMER THE RETREAT BY ZURI) Review

A great resort, delicious food and very warm hospitality... Had a great time with family. Must visit.

It was an overall average experience.stayed for 3 days. Activities are there full day but fun zone closes by 10:00pm which is very early. And has its located in South Goa taxi are very costly.

I'd probably give it a three and a half, purely for effort.
Lovely setting of a traditional Portuguese Hacienda (if you'd pardon the linguistic anachronism)... but the extension is a bit tacky. The plaster of Paris statuettes also strain the eye.
Rooms are nice and fairly spacious, but the views are limited.
The place could've been better if there had been half the number of guests, else the resources are strained.

One of the best hotels I have visited. The rooms are spacious with the field view from the balcony. Good food. Has a play zone for kids and lots of other facilities for the young and the old.

Great place. Secluded area for enjoying exclusive beach entertainment. Clean beach nearby. Food is great. People are courteous. Enjoyed the trip. Keep in mind that if you love hustle bustle of North Goa then better be placed in resorts in North Goa only since the travel time is almost 2 hours to North Goa.

Good location, Good Ambience, Good facilities, Good food, close proximity to Varca, Benaulim, Colva and other beaches of Goa. Not far from Margao

Emerald Palms is one of the best resorts of Club Mahindra. It's vast and spread over acres that you may get easily get lost. Nonetheless you can enjoy and relax in the resort itself rather than going out for sightseeing. The food over here just mouth watering and savoury, foodies r gonna have a good time over here. The pool is neat and clean, airy lobby, etc. Rooms are all luxurious and above your expectations much comfortable and families will love it. Overall there are no issues to pint at, from rooms to room service, from restaurant to restaurant staff everyone and everything is helpful, caring and enjoyable respectively. This resort is worth the visit. If you haven't visited yet, you might want to add it your bucket list

Wish he organization was not out to cut our pocket on its inauthentic food. Food basically catering to the Indian palette with high pricing forces ua to go out an eat authentic Goan food.

Great place away from the chaos. Colonial style building with spacious rooms and lots of greenery.

Room size is good but with wet floor and musty smell which doesn't go away, property does not have its own beach. Nearest beach (colava) is 2km away. Food is either ordinary or awful and expensive. A reasonable eating joint is just outside the resort. Staff is indifferent.

The property itself is very expansive and its is filled with numerous activities like swimming, pellet shooting, snooker, etc. The property is well maintained and the rooms are very spacious. They do not offer in room free WiFi but there is free WiFi in the lobby. There are also events. For example when I was staying there was a Halloween event with DJ and had face painting. It's a great stay for families and couples and stags alike.

It's an okayishh place! not that great compared to the other mahindra resorts nearby. But much higher than the other hotels around this place

You can't have a better option than club Mahindras own resorts

Premium resort with premium facility. It's 15 mins walking distance from Varca Beach. Full marks for Cleaniness, Room Service and Hospitality. Resort has plenty of activities for kids as well as grown ups. Having an self driven vehicle is suggested to move around other places. Only turn off is heafty charges of every activity or f&b. Overall must go if you love.to pamper yourself.

It's not on the beach. It has no grounds, property is all rooms. Swimming pool is small and there's a strange bad smell all over the resort.

Playing area for children cultural activities if u can't go out or just want to stay cool at one place. Varca beach and Colva beach is nearest beach clean and calm.
Supporting and friendly staff. One small shop is also there it's a theme you can have look. 10km away from mandgaon Railway Station and bus depot as well as50 km from airport.
Lunch dinner hi tea and breakfast package you can take and utilitize accordingly it's worth taking

There were a lot of expectations from the club because the way the salesman had boasted of the resort. It was far below the expected standard. The food was exorbitantly priced. Vehicles got from local relatives were not allowed to be parked inside the campus. The resort it seemed worked in connivance with the taxi union it seems. Being a purple member made no difference because most of the guests staying were absolute non members. They were other then RCI affiliated customers. Overall a horrible vacation.

Other than food..I don't think this property has anything worth mentioning when you compare it with the varca property. Rooms/bed are make shift arrangement. Congested, cramped. Hardly any open space.

Really agreat experience.nice place cooperating staff good food great ambience.prefer it if you want to stay in resort.But if you want to roam about in goa then believe it that north goa is 2 hrs run from here.All beaches are far away.onlu varca beach is near.Taxi drivers are charging very high rates.

Very good property, great expanse of greenery, close to the beach, good activity for all ages. Very good front office and housekeeping staff. Good food and kitchen staff. F & B service staff lack skills and direction and are very slow. Sagar at the restaurant should be avoided at all costs. Very inefficient and slow. Bad attitude.

One of the Best places to stay in south goa. Only 5-10 mins to varca beach from emerald palms. Amenities and staff is great and helpful.

A place where one can relax and enjoy to the fullest. A quiet resort. A swimming pool, a happy hub for playing and very helpful staff. Really enjoyed our break from the hectic schedule.

Such a pretty place this is. We shot the first Destination wedding ever at this property and it was so much fun.

It is a timeshare resort operated by Club Mahindra Holidays . It offers excellent ambience, very comfortable accommodation, superb food. It is one kilometre away from the sea beach at Varca. It does not allow Goa registered private vehicles to enter or to park inside. Visitors are forced to use only the local taxis parked in front of its gate at exorbitant rates . These taxis are operated by local strong arm men and the resort authorities are helpless.

Extremely pleasant place in Goa. The resort is too good. It has swimming pool, big garden, Goa beach beside its ( only for the members ) . Every day events are organised. The food is delicious. The rooms are luxurious. The beauty is at high. The service too is fast.

Very good place to stay but not to eat because it's very costly unnecessarily.

It is a very grand Resort a beautiful place situated near to beach only a 10 minute walk staffand condition of the rooms and the hotel all are the best.

This is one of the better resorts in Goa. It's not as good as Club Mahindra Varca Beach, but is definitely good. It's 1km from the beach. The architecture of the place has a Mediterranean style to it. It's definitely scenic. Has a swimming pool, spa and a gym.

It has 2 restaurants and both are good. Also has a cafeteria for afternoon or evening snacks. Snacks are also served by the pool.

Rooms are very comfortable. The staff is good. So is the ambience.

If you want to relax in Goa this is one of the few good places to be in. There is also a market nearby for any other purchases. Which won't be necessary actually.

Enjoyable vacation stay. The beach is 10 minutes away. Good past time activities for the whole family-swimming, indoor games, etc. Nice range in the bar and good spread of food. Only downside is expensive taxi service operated by unions for any visit outside.

Poor cousin of the other Mahindra resort in the same neighborhood. The other one is next to the beach while this one is a good 10 mins walk. The rooms need to be aired on a regular basis to get rid of the musty odour they get when sealed for a prolonged time. The area and pool is good.

Dropped in with a high expectations but disappointed with the door locking system and bathroom fixtures very ill kept property
