My family and I were very disappointed in the zoo We are from Indiana and made the trip. It was my grandsons birthday and he was very unhappy. There were little to no animals on exhibit. A lot of exhibits were closed off. Needless to say we will not be back. I hope your customer service department sees this. I personally think I should get some kind of refund.

Sincerely Renee Wisner and Family.

Love The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens! When our daughter was born my husband purchased Zoo passes and took our baby and two older son's on both Sat and Sunday mornings to give me a respite! They all have very fond memories of the zoo! We also went every Father's Day! The Festival of Lights is amazing. We recently went during the HallZOOween festivities and my 84yr old mother was over joyed that she too was able to trick or treat while being pushed in her wheelchair. She told everyone she was really a teenager costumed as an old lady and everyone played along. Thank you for giving her sweet memories with her grandchildren!

I had a wonderful experience at the Cincinnati zoo recently. The variety of different wildlife was astounding and the staff nearby were always very helpful to answer any questions. The interactive experiences with the animals or also greatly appreciated. I was able to feed a giraffe the, which was definitely a first for me.

I would highly recommend visiting the Cincinnati Zoo if you've never been!

Such a wonderful zoo - we had such a blast walking through. The animals all look well cared for. It was clean. And it was really nice being able to grab a cold beer and enjoy that as we admired the stunning animals. It was a very busy weekend, I'd still go again! Very memorable trip.

We're pass holders and love taking our little one. Every exhibit is well done and worth seeing.

They have food trucks now, in addition to the zoo branded eating areas. I'm not sure if they'll be there all year, but it's a nice addition.

The gorilla exhibit is open now and is very very cool. Several different kinds to see and there's a giant tiki hut shelter to view them under.

To start with during this pandemic the Zoo really impressed me with the lengths it went to assure the guest safety and comfort. The one thing I had issue with is the ease of finding your way from exhibit to exhibit and due to the virus they are not handing out paper maps they should have more easily readable maps in more places all in all it was a great day for not a lot of money.

I haven't been to this place in over 20 years. And it was amazing. I needed to rent a wheelchair for my sister and they had both manual and electric. Heads up though if you've never been here, there is a LOT of hills, plan to rent a motorized wheelchair if you struggle to walk long distances or wagons/strollers for small children.

Have to have an appointment entry time, but can stay as long as you want. Bought a zoo key, and the few boxes we could locate had interesting information. The main cafeteria is still closed, but the train is running. Have to wear masks in line .

Amazing Zoo!! Plenty of shade and room to move around, lovely shows and exhibits. Best of all was definitely Fiona the Hippo. Such a lovely place to explore and teach kids about animals and appreciating nature. :)

For one of the oldest zoos in the country it was fabulous. Many of the exhibits are updated and all are educational. From giraffe feedings to animal encounters everything was designed to show the animals in natural habits and close enough to be seen. The cheetah encounter was very cool, must see. Even the insect house was awesome, with leaf cutter ants carrying their work through tubes and multicolored beetles in a grand display. The African safari was the best I've seen. Definitely a must view if in the Cincinnati ares

I was face to face, through the glass, with gorillas, manatees, a polar bear, a magnificent male lion, and Fiona the hippopotamus. The grounds are beautiful which is why the zoo is also a botanic garden.we rode a little red train and an endangered animal themed carousel. There are lots of animals, all over this zoo- some over every hillside and around every corner. I even saw the elephants get their daily bath. The insect house is home to naked- mole rats, leaf- cutter ants and humongous cockroaches. I won t tell you my weight on the Insect scale. A flock of flamingos toddled down a path next to us. There were convenient places to get a bite to eat and enjoy a cool drink. We had a wonderful time and learned a few facts about many animals.

This is one of the best zoos ever I got to work here & it was the best job I ever had. I worked for park services and got to see the animals all the time and participate in fun events. This is the best zoo I have ever been too! The food here is great also!!!!

We were having a great time at the zoo up to the point that we bought popcorn and a soda at the entrance to the Safari Train. 45 seconds later, we got in line for the train and a woman with dark glasses came and confiscated it from us. Apparently you can have a life-altering accident with a bag of popcorn. People taking stuff like this to the EXTREME, are ruining experiences all over the country for others....I should have expected as much. To prevent accidents ?!?! A bag of popcorn and a pretzel? Are you kidding me? My family and I skipped line and retrieved our popcorn and half eaten pretzel she confiscated and we left. Settle the hell down Karen.

For families, nature enthusiasts and animal lovers; this is a great place to explore should you have several hours to burn in the Cincy area. Otherwise, it s not a must see attraction. It s a very middle of the road urban zoo with mediocre More

Love, love, love... we took my 2 year old to the festival of lights and boy oh boy! We as adults and my daughter were not disappointed!!! I haven't been to the festival of lights since I was a young child and still 25 years later I was in awe... thank you for giving my family the joy you brought me as a child to my child! Simply amazing!!!

Visiting the Cincinnati Zoo is always a wonderful experience. It's wonderful to have the annual holiday tradition of going there for the Festival of Lights. It's a treat to walk around the botanical gardens at night with such a well-done display lighting the way.

The zoo is beautifully maintained and there are always improvements happening. It's great place for families to spend some time together. The different staff we've interacted with for character encounters have been so friendly and are great about sharing interesting facts about their critters. Food selection is pretty good with fairly reasonable prices.

This was our second time attending the zoo as we are from out of town. We really enjoy the zoo and think their animal shows are always awesome. Very easy to spend 5-6 hours here. Only criticism is that signage could be a little better. There were many paths we went down that were dead ends but didn t know until we were at the end. We asked staff where certain things were and the directions were never really straight-forward.

Fun for the kids and very cheap! A great experience for everyone! It's one of the best places to go! There are new animals there like the baby Rino and Fiona which are the cutest animals you will ever see in youe life! It's truly sad but you can't see Fiona's father because he passed away around October 31, 2017.

One of the best zoos our family has been to. For the kids the playground and petting zoo is very small, but the zoo as a whole is great! There s a train, playground, petting zoo, carousel, and theatre for the kids. They do a nice job at Christmas time with lights! We are members and like to go first thing in the morning when the zoo opens. There aren t a lot of people during the members only hour.

What an awesome zoo. They are doing everything they can to keep the animals and public safe. Beautiful retreat from the surrounding city. Can't wait to come back when everything is open again. Thanks all you do Cincinnati Zoo!!!

You should have more shaded areas while waiting to get on train with the summer heat and the sizzling sun many people with little ones and the elderly they need the protection... Maybe just maybe the zoo could add some kind of water play area for the kiddos like the Henry doorly zoo in Omaha Nebraska

This place was wonderful. The animals looked like they actually thrived rather than were just there. The food options actually had vegetarian things as well. It was clean, the staff were friendly and I could actually find staff too when needed.

Drove to 4 different parking lots and all were full. The zoo worker told us he couldn't help us what a joke. I will never try and take my family here again. Very disorganized and we drove about an hour to get to the zoo. We didnt even get to go in total waste of our time!!!!

I love love love our zoo. It's so beautiful with all the different botanical and garden things around the zoo. Tons of animals and animal encounters. Everything is a little on the pricey side but totally worth the money!

It was a great experience for the entire family. We didn't get to see a lot animals because we went at night. We went to see the Christmas lights anyway so not a big deal not to see too many animals..

There is so much to see!! Everything is spaced so well that you don't walk long without seeing something, whether it's animals or plants, there's always something amazing to see!! I just wish they would have had the hand sanitizer stations filled.

The Cincinnati Zoo is such a great place to take the entire family. We see something new all the time and never waste the opportunity to learn. It's well maintained, especially considering the amount of people on any given day. The family membership is well worth the cost. On slow days, we take the train and carousel two or three times. The zoo has a small downhill or uphill walk depending on what side you are on but they also offer wheel chair rentals for those with mobility issues.

My family and I have had passes for the past three years and we love going each time. It's always fun to go no matter what time of year. There's so much to learn each time you go. I can't wait to see the finished product after the $50 million donation.
