I would give this place a 5 star for a single employee, alone. But thankfully the coffee is great as well. I'm not even sure of the baristas name, but he was extremely kind and thoughtful giving recommendations. The only downside to this shop is the parking. (good luck)

This is a really cute coffee shop for the neighborhood. The ladies that work there are really friendly. You can quickly grab a coffee. The parking is extremely limited. There is maybe four spots. If you are walking in the neighborhood it's the perfect stop. There are two picnic tables out front period if you need to sit for a while without worrying about catching coronavirus they are great for that. There is also some street parking.

I visited some coffee shops in Atlanta but this one is where I want to go back! The smell, the trendy-industrial ambience, the layout itself. The black, the concept...
The first thing I look at when I go somewhere is the design, and this place got all my attention. The jackets, the hangers, the racks, the old fashioned motorcycle... everything! And the most important: the coffee and bakery were something to remember!
It made me recall my years at architecture school.. the vibes, the energy! This coffee shop is the best!! And staff is friendly and with a positive attitude.

A group of Japanese exchange students and I came for coffee after our field trip to MLK Center. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Our orders came up quick and each beautifully prepared. I know a large group can be overwhelming (especially if their second language is English), but we felt very welcome. The coffee and pastries were excellent! I appreciated the gluten free option since I have celiac. The oatmeal pie was delish! Highly recommend!

Chrome Yellow has such a chill and calming vibe. It's in my top 5 favorite ATL coffee shops, and I mostly meet my clients here. They've recently implemented a 3-hour-wifi rule, and honestly? Good for them. The place was SWARMED with people who were sitting all day and it was so packed - now it's much calmer, and I think 3 hours of wifi for a simple coffee is more than fair. They don't play the music too loud, they have interesting drinks, great location, and the space is beautifully designed.

Everything is very aesthetic and branded well. Selection of side items is limited but matching the vibe so clearly looks like somebody spent time finding the right chocolate and stuff for this place. I found my latte a tad bit colder than I would have liked. RealiInf that it shouldn't be served burned ... But I finished it in 10 seconds 2 gulps... Other than that I personally like some couches at a coffee shop do you are invited to longer some. These school chairs, although designed, do not promote relaxing in my view... Redhead Barista on 01/29 at 4:30 was affable and welcoming.

I've tried amidst every coffee shop in the ATL & this is consistently one I go back to. Even though I don't live in the area any longer.
Minimal, hipster coffee shop atmosphere. Outdoor seating available. Not the cheapest option but amazing coffee. (also won't break the bank)
Parking is scarce and a bit tight.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

The nitro brew is one of the best in town (if not the only)! I love coming here during the day. The natural light that comes in gives you a bright cozy feel while you're having your coffee inside. Definitely recommend

Fantastic location right on Edgewood Ave with a friendly staff, great baked goods, and lattes. Coffee isn't as good as Cafe and Velo and it's a little pricey but this has a much more upbeat lounge and seating available than Condesa. I see lots of people on laptops constantly getting really great art and work done and while it's hipster vibe is decidedly not pretentious or glib. Great way to start the day.

Great spot with good vibes and quality coffee. Usually plenty of space, WiFi, and a great location just off Edgewood in Sweet Auburn. I come here fairly often to read and write, and have always been able to plug my computer in, focus, and relax. Arguably the best coffee shop in the neighborhood along with Condesa.

Surprisingly good batch coffee. Plenty of seats and tables - including outdoors - in a minimalist space. Also shop selling notebooks, coffee related magazines, candles and more. Will definitely be heading back when I m in Atlanta again. Also close to great restaurants and bars if you want to transition later in the day.

Honestly love this shop so much, but Wesley no longer works here and it breaks my heart so I haven t been back in a bit. Excited for some counseling and inner healing so I can enjoy this beautiful shop atmosphere and wonderful coffee again without being sad

Excellent coffee shop. This will be my new go-to place. Their chai latte was perfect, there was plenty of comfortable seating, and we had great natural lighting to read. On top of that, the parking was easy. If you're looking for a good coffee shop without the overly hipster attitude, go here.

Fun place to be for studying or just chatting. Can be a bit small and the food and coffee is pricey, but it s all about the vibe and experience. It s our favorite hangout and chill spot!

Beautiful shop featuring my favorite roaster, Stumptown coffee. I've been following Chrome Yellow Trading Co for over a year around town, and I'm so happy to see they've found a permanent home. White walls, subtle wood accents, and a beautiful coffee bar (topped off with a cold brew tap setup), and plenty of seating makes this shop the perfect place to enjoy a coffee, do some work, or gather with your amigos. Highly recommend!

Consistently the most enjoyable pulls of espresso I have found in the city. Everything is always dialed in properly for an intense aroma, full body, and long finish. Other coffee shops in the area could learn a thing or to from the pros behind the counter here. Also, the latte art is pretty much flawless if that's something that is important to you!

My absolute favorite location in the city. The location is super welcoming and has the most thoughtful and hardworking staff. The space is an amazing place to get work done, hang out with friends, or take an Instagram shot with all the amazing lighting. Also the food is the best food at a coffee shop I ve had. Gotta get the quiche and the London Fog

Best specialty coffee in Atlanta, without a doubt. Huckleberry and Methodical available. Cool stripped down place with ample seating and greenery. I asked many people where to go for specialty, no one told me chrome yellow. My friends failed me, I figured it out tho, thanks google for being a real friend.

Fabulous coffee, great space, a couple of tables outside to sit. I thoroughly enjoyed my cappuccino both days. They have pastries too from other bakeries; the danish was decent but I did not like the empanada at all... but if it's a coffee you're after this is the place

A very pleasant coffee shop with a simple and elegant decoration. They have a cold coffee with almond milk and chocolate. It's an ideal place to bring a computer and read or study. When we visited there were also many students working in the course. Everyone was sharing his desk with others. Don't worry that there's no room.

Their often too busy to find seating. But that's only because it's such a good place to sit and work on projects. The latte was wonderful, the chocolate chip not so much. Croissants are pretty great though

I had high hopes for this coffee shop but was not the biggest fan. The guy who I ordered with was very nice but many of the other staff seemed to just be unhappy walking around, taking people their food or coffee.

I sat in the little "gift shop" area which was fine but it did get a little loud at one point with a lot of people talking around the bar. Not a huge deal but just FYI, it was a louder environment than most coffee shops i've visited recently. And that may not be the usual.

I ordered a pour over coffee which was good. I also ordered a toasted peanut butter and strawberry sandwich (?) which was kind of disappointing but you live and you learn.

Also, i'm pretty sure this is an alternative universe composed of only hipsters. Google "Hipster", go to images and this is what you'll see in this coffee shop. I've never seen so many people with converse, plaid or flannel shirts and backwards ball caps. Not a bad thing... was just kind of trippy haha.

Really great coffee shop, reminiscent of something you would find in Portland or Brooklyn. They have an eclectic menu and serve the coffee correctly measuring every pull from the grind and artwork on every cup. They have seats outside for chilling and a great space for studying. Also a super cool little clothing/notebooks store inside. One of Atlanta's best new coffee shops :)

I had a delicious mocha almond cold brew coffee. The atmosphere is very hip and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Lots of people working and studying with loud ambient music playing.

4 stars because it is quite expensive! Still a good coffee though, so I guess you get what you pay for. Really nice vibe, great for studying. Staff is so friendly. They also play really good music!

My family and I were visiting from out of town. I came to Chrome Yellow for some coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the interior - lots of natural light, great seating that s got plenty of space between you and your neighbor. Sadly they were out of their nitro brew but the cold brew was super good. The employees were friendly and helpful. One even went out of her way while I tried to shove my baby s stroller out of the way and held the door open for me. Much appreciated!

Had two great shots from Stumptown Coffee pulled on a La Marzocco Linea. They know what they're doing here. I just wish there was less apparel shopping and more seating. Nonetheless, cool spot.

This cool minimalist building is a place you can grab your cortado and your birthday gifts all in one place. They serve direct-trade, sustainably produced Stumptown beans, which make for some tasty (but expensive) coffees.
