I went that's for a event it was not great an okay- ish place

A wonderfully placed art gallery. Good displays. The parking and publicity should be improved to increase footfall.

It's absolutely eye treat and good space for learning the art and culture for upcoming designers.

Hard to find from the main road, and not really well maintained. The fountain wasn't running and the building seemed like it was under construction. The gallery part was a very good experience and amazing art was displayed!

Plenty of space to conduct art event's, exhibitions. Must visit place for all sorts of art and handicrafts lovers.

its my go to place in the last four years to interact with photographers who come for the IPF. its a platform to learn and gain knowledge in art and photography too. great ambience and some wonderful infrastructure

Glad that Telangana has a such a wonderful space for Art. Been there recently for IPF 2018.

Nothing much to watch but good for hanging out with friends. Calm surroundings. There's a cafe to have some food. If don't wanna pay too much you can have Rs.20 maggie

Amazing experience on photography festival exhibition

You can visit this place anytime.the security there guides you well.There is a coffee shop in it.You will have a nice feel once you visit it

This is maintained by Telangana government to held art related galleries. Well maintained even we can use it for personal gallery also.

The scenic view of sunset from its balcony is a must visit

The hall is really superb but when I came to attend a session in that hall as there is no power and there is no power backup for that hall and the whole session was gone wrong and totally fedup

It was an amazing gallery art but no water in washrooms

It has an art gallery, a boutique and an auditorium within its compound. The acoustics in the auditorium are excellent, can seat 200-225. Good for school plays and amateur theatre groups.

Most of the art exhibition in Hyderabad takes place here..
Auditorium is well arranged for seminars and the gallery is also well placed with all the proper lightings for photo exibits and there are no restrictions for clicking pictures or for recording videos. Parking lot is also spacious. Place looks very interesting and easy to locate even from a far off distance. Visiting in the day time is suggested as day is always good understand the essence of a picture, ambient like is sources her a well adjusted but still doesn't feel that enticing to look compared to day light..
There is still more to explore at this place as I have visited it only once and it would be very vague trying to describe everything just by a single visit, so I will update the rest for the information when I visit again. But one must definitely agree that it is the finest art gallery run by the state and with such a good maintenance. I was really surprised to see it be that good.
And it is for sure one the places one must visit in Hyderabad.. especially photo enthusiasts, hobbyist and who flonder art.

Auditorium is too dark. They shud have minimal lights on...

Photo exhibitions and other art exhibition are held here on week ends. Good place to be on week ends to explore art.

Poorly managed with archeology museum found in locked condition during visiting hours

IThere's just one exhibit which has copies of sculpture from Ajanta and Ellora caves. Every other gallery is empty. Such places shouldn't be listed if it's not fully open yet.

This place is nice, but not that much good maintained....the govt. have to look these type of tourism areas.
Too many gallary are closed.....

Being an art gallery of a state. The entrance is not accessible friendly.

It is a GOVT operated organization for Arts. You can go to its websites for all events happening

It is very good place. I personally liked liked this place. All the collection were awesome.

State gallery of art is an examplary place to find local talent in arts. From converting peace of scrap into best master pieces. Different types of Paintings which includes canvas, free hand drawings and other types of art form galleries can be found here. Drawing competitions are also held here. Can drive your car here, parking is available. Rest rooms are available. Visible from road.

Nice sculptures made with recycled vehicle parts. Awesome exhibition in Jan 2018 on Cartography - spiritual, emotional, and physical.

It's a very good building. Near to Dmart and Madhapur Police station. I think so many shoots have been done here. Went there to attend the Make a difference event. Fully cylinderical building. Opposite to that building GHMC park aslo there.

Nice location for art exhibitions in Hyderabad. Government owned.
