This is the crisis, we must help local commerce. Me the Amazon customer, I do. I register on the site and order L'Anomalie, a book that I really want to read. No news for 3 days. I walk past the Hall, which is open! Awesome. Customers buy newspapers, magazines. I'm on the line. "Hello, I ordered ... etc ...". Already, in the Hall, the smile of the employees is optional. "Your name?" "Sorry, no record of your order." Ah? Can you sell it to me then? No ! Go home and re-order in Click & Collect! We have too many internet orders to process ". I made the effort. I was received as someone who was disturbing. No other solution was offered to me. So I was referred to a system that did not worked. Got home, ordered from Amazon. End of story.

I've been going there for a while, I can't remember a smile or a pleasant welcome at the cash desk. The highlight of the show is a book that I ordered on their site for 3 months now. I go there, it does not appear anywhere, they send me back abruptly to the site to be reimbursed. Item that does not exist. Bad experience, I do not recommend their site.

Salespeople, for their part, are at the limit of politeness sometimes, with a feeling that they quickly want to end their day (I came in the morning). So a lot of choice yes, quality of the establishment more than correct, but sometimes reluctant salespeople. As for the prices, they are average, sometimes can be a little more.

I LOVE a bookstore, especially on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Spent this one with my daughter in the adolescent section, where there was music playing that I remember from my younger years. This is a great shop and a hallmark of Nancy. I bought my daughter a novel, and I picked up a New York Times for the crossword, and I bought a few postcards to send to my girls across the pond.
Be nice to the workers. They're putting their lives on the line so we can continue reading to escape the horrors around us. AND THEY WORK ON SUNDAYS. Not all heroes wear capes.
