I love playing this course. The first hole has what seems like a 150' drop to the fairway. It's the most memorable 1st tee I've ever played. I also love the back 9 where 3 of the holes are up against a mountain side. I've played here over 20 times and I've always been impressed. The rates are also better than many/most of the local courses so that's another benefit. Seems like the fairways and greens are always in great shape. The views over the valley from the first hole and back 9 CANNOT be beat. I love bringing friends and family to play here.

The Grill at Cedar Hills at the golf course is awesome. The food is really good and prices are not bad at all. The side salad that came with it was awesome too. I wish I would have taken a picture of my food to post before I ate it but it was just too good.

The reason for the lower rating is the staff, they are not that friendly and their ability to answer the phone in the morning is horrible. I had a T time in the morning and was going to be a few minutes late so I wanted to see if that would be ok since I was driving two hours away to get there. When I arrived the manager denied the phone rang and argued with me about everything, very rude. They said they were there the whole time but obviously were not. The course is pretty nice and challenging which I like but the service and the inability to keep a good kitchen going has little to be proud of. The facility itself is pretty nice though, great for a wedding or get together of any kind and the view is spectacular.

I've only come here for wedding receptions, and it seems like a nice place to have one. I'm not a super fan of receptions, but if there is something salty to eat (not just sugar, you know?) then I enjoy it. I'm not there to fill up, I just like salty things. Then, with some good friends to chat with, this is the perfect setting for a reception. The gazebo outside is really nice.

Had a great pace going on the front 9 and like always the clubhouse sends out multiple groups right before we make the turn and slows everything way down. Very frustrated. Please stop.

Really enjoyed the course. There's only one hole on the entire course where there are houses close to play(but only a par 3 on top of that). Some of the holes are a little long from the tee to the fairway but I will be a return customer

Today was honestly the poorest experience I ve had at any golf course during any round of golf. It started when we lost our tee shot off the second tee box. While we were waiting to play our second shot, we took a moment to locate them. The Marshall proclaimed that we were not permitted to search for our lost ball.. (What?! The balls were in bounds, but lost in the tall weeds. Made no sense.) From that point the Marshall of the course loomed with his gas motor running during 5 of the next 8 holes! He literally was harassing our group with his presence. I ve played Cedar Hills countless times, but maybe this year marks the start of a terrible trend with poor course management?! I hope Wade and the city can get this situation sorted out.

First tee off is literally off a cliff and there is a trick to it but unfortunately I cannot share that's something you will have to go and play there and learn overall very well done course

If I could rate this 0 stars I would... scheduled my wedding here months in advance.. was informed we DID NOT have to pay anything up front and just had to have it paid in full a month or so before the wedding, and that if anyone called they would give us a 24 hour notice before giving our spot away. Becky did not give me 24 hours and gave my spot away. When first confronted she admit to her mistake but was not willing to honor their so said policy and insisted on me changing my wedding day instead of correcting their mistake. Becky was very rude and condescending and has absolutely the worst customer service I have ever seen. Was completely screwed by these people and had to pay a couple more thousand dollars to even find a venue such short notice. If you want a secure venue DO NOT GO HERE

This is one of my favorite golf courses in utah county. Maybe because I play it well, but it is fun and has challaging holes. They have competitive prices and the course is in good condition. One of my favorite things about the course is they have my favorite sandwich shop Ernies in the club house. That seals the deal for me.

They have improved this golf course over the years. The addition with the club house is nice and feel that the course is better maintained than in years past. I ve enjoyed the driving range as well. My sister had her wedding reception in the club house and we really enjoyed the location.

We have rented the Vista Room a number of times and have attended weddings, parties, meetings, and dinners at this venue. I can t say enough about the picturesque location with its proximity to the scenic American Fork Canyon and Wasatch Mountains which can be viewed through the large windows on the east side of the building. The windows on the west side have exquisite views of the valley and lake. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The Vista Room has dark, rich, wood floors with a stone fire place. The visual and audio equipment worked seamlessly with our presentations. The size of the food preparation room was more than enough for our needs and has two separate entrances to the Vista Room. If preparing your own food isn t what you are looking for, they offer a catering service through the restaurant / grill also located in the building.

We played on a Saturday when it was almost 100 degrees. We saw the cart girl on #6 and never saw her again. And when she did show up she didn't even have any Ice. Then all the water coolers were empty. When we called the clubhouse to get some water out to us they said they would work on it. Well we never got any water and the guys at the clubhouse quit answering the phone.
The course could be a really fun course but the need to act like they give a damn when there is a problem. A little water in the coolers would be nice. They knew it was going to be hot so a little planning would go a long way.

This place is a joke! We paid full price as the lady at the desk would not honor our PGA players book. She said that each person has to have one. The Marshall is an old fat man that follows you around complaining about your game. My group was all amateurs and 2 of us sliced our balls into the adjoining fairway. The Marshall saw this and told us to pick these balls up and throw them into our fairway. I could understand this if someone was waiting for us or if we were in anyone's way but no one was there on that hole. He was a total a@@ hole! Avoid this course at all costs as there are more professional courses in Utah.

Great course! I only knocked off one star because of treatment we received the last time we went. After being paired up with a solo player, my buddy and I (who aren't very good) were obviously slowing him down, so he decided to just go on ahead without us, which we thought was fine.
Apparently that's really bad...?
The staff, once we were done with our 9 holes, told us that if we "ever did something like that again we wouldn't be welcome back".

Other than that, though, it was a fun course with challenging holes and beautiful scenery.

Other than the employees being extremely unprofessional, I left a really expensive pair of sunglasses in my golf cart, called an hour after and they claimed they never found them. I dropped the cart off in the front and an employee grabbed it right after.

Calling in was a joke.

They left sprinklers on the whole morning, our cart ran out of battery, and over booked the t times so that everyone was waiting 90% of the time.

This course, like many other Utah courses has an excellent view of the mountain side and has bend kept in pretty good shape. The greens, not so much anymore as the back nine has been partially parched due to heat, and it is a bit pricey in comparison to other courses. The driving range is best in the afternoon as the range is facing east. If you plan to not rent a cart, GO TO ANOTHER COURSE. This course is not walkable at all, especially the back nine. I am sorry to say I have tried walking it and even though the length is pretty standard for executive courses the course has way to much up and down to walk. Get a cart unless you plan to die. I go to this course very often and love it but be warned.

Had a great time playing mario kart in real life on their wii-truck things

I dunked a basketball into my uncles diet pepsi
we played a little golf while we were here too, it was just great to know that they made a real life version of wii sports. Super cool!

I was not satisfied with the treatment that the Cedar Hills Golf Course displayed with me and my fellow golfers when we played there. There are only 2 par threes that give you an accurate reading of the yardage. I had a marshall tell me "the way you guys are playing is bull-sh@@". We had been ahead of the group behind us the entire round until the 18th hole. We had 4 in our group and they had 2. If they had been closer we would of let them play through. I have grown up playing golf in the south and understand proper golf etiqute. I have played here 3 times and each time their mowers are in the fairways or on the greens with no respect to your play. They will leave their mowers on even while you are putting. If they want to act like this is a TOP utah golf course they have a long way to go before they start yelling at the people already willing to play their sub par golf course. Don't play here unless you have a free round because it is not worth the money. Better money would be spent playing Mountain View(which is saying something).

Been golfing here for years, and it really can't be beat. For one of the most reasonably-priced courses in the area, they exceed expectations with friendly staff, great maintenance, and a gorgeous view from the club house. Our only complaint is that the greens have been damaged or in poor condition quite often, but again, a course at this price won't be perfect. If you like fun golf with stunning views and fun variety, this is your course.

This city drain is a blight. The clubhouse (err "community center") is beautiful, and a pointless expenditure on the city that carries enormous debt. Shame on present and past city governments.

If you want a challenging course. Cedar hills course is the spot. Beautiful surroundings, competitive challenges, and great coustomer service and experienced help if you need a few pointers, or tips for the par 5 on the 8th hole.

I like the course but the clubhouse management needs to be better. We were playing a great pace and then got cut off by two groups that were sent out to play the back nine by the club house. They slowed us way down.

The course was in great shape. They have some great holes on this course and it was a ton of fun. I played in a tournament here and the accommodations were top notch and the club house was amazing. I would totally recommend playing here if you have an opportunity to.
