The environment is fantastic but the staff at the bar is probably one of the worst I've experienced
Had a really nice stay at the Marriott. Thanks to platinum status, I was able to choose whether I would like to upgrade to an executive room (10th floor) or a superior room at check-in. I chose the latter because of the size. I still had lounge access.
Room was large, clean and very nicely furnished. The lounge was actually always empty. Due to the current situation, only coffee and non-alcoholic drinks are offered there. In the evening there are snacks in the bar (sandwiches and soup + alcoholic drinks).
The fitness studio has moved to the Wandelbar because the spa area is being renovated. There were several treadmills, cross trainers, bicycles and two weight benches.
Breakfast was offered as a buffet. I found the selection very good.
All in all, a really great stay. Gladly again
Good rooms, good location, helpful staff, nice executive lounge (no liquor but beer/wine/prosecco), not the best views though.
The best hotel in Potsdamer Platz, indoor pool is heated, breakfast satisfies all your choices and needs, I'd give 10 stars if possible
Comfortable and nice hotel. The demands and expectations in the price range fully applicable. As a service provider and customer highly recommended. Friendly coworker. Very clean even in the non-public areas. Top.
No disappointment - a luxury hotel in a great location
Beautiful place! I loved it. Perfectly situated. Very friendly people. I would definitely go there again.
We stayed here for two nights for the marathon weekend. Booked through the marathon event contingent. When you check-in, upgrade to an executive room - then probably above all Effects on bed size. Well ok, you like to take it with you. The room (and the hotel in general) is stylishly furnished - maybe in the style of a Moroccan riad ?! - and clean at first glance (didn't always have my glasses on). In the meantime, one has to positively emphasize that when the bathrooms have a real door, and not just a rickety frosted glass drawer, this unfortunately also happens sometimes in this class. Shower is also nice, even if you shouldn't be much taller than 1.90m.
The staff is professional and helpful through and through, and all additional issues were dealt with quickly and courteously. Instead of paying a late check-out, we can still use the spa area after the run - a very comfortable accommodation for us. We have a restaurant except at
Breakfast not seen from the inside. Breakfast was now "ok" for the hotel class, no specials, but everything you would expect.
Five stars - gladly again.
We always book the Ex. room with access to the lounge, which is chic, but when we last booked we had the impression that we had been assigned a normal room, although we had chosen and paid for the Ex. class. But we can also be wrong ...
In the past, however, the Marriott apparently had a designer and a florist who beautified the hotel. Now nothing of it is recognizable, it is and looks cold and I think there are plastic flowers in the hallways. Unfortunately it is no longer decorated, even at Christmas I think there was a plastic Christmas tree with really terrible decorations.
Check-in takes far too long, I wonder what the employees have to do for minutes on the screens before the key card is finally spat out.
The water temperature in the swimming pool is far too cold. The rooms on the 10th floor are actually relatively smart, but not really clean either. The food in the lounge could be of higher quality, warm dishes mostly come from the microwave, at least we haven't noticed any freshly prepared dishes or freshly roasted meat there. But the location is chic and if you are modest there is nothing to complain about.
My home in Berlin. The newly renovated and refurnished room are elegant and modern.
The breakfast is really good and there s a lot of variety - even we re still in corona time.
The staff is very friendly.
And the hotel is very well located!
Newly renovated and well-located hotel. Great for both family and business travel.
The Room is Luxurious and the staff are very good
very expensive
the location is perfect
It s a nice hotel. Staff was great. Clean rooms and great location.
The hotel is good. Breakfast and service are also good, and the beds are comfortable. But the pool was cold
incredible service ! A great place to stay in Berlin!!!
Small reception desk, very comfortable rooms, good staff.
Beautiful, stylish and a lovely relaxing atmosphere.
Absolutely perfect location.
The only 5 star Marriott Hotel in Berlin. For 5 stars surprisingly cheap.
Great place to be tested by Berlin. Close to within walking distance and kangaroo meat and fresh German beer in the Sony Center. Here, at the reception desk, Russian-speaking guys work who can tell you everything. The hotel lobby is excellent for negotiation. Very creative place and worth the money. Next to the hotel with the Ritz-Carlton gllywood stars. Before the entrance is a drop with reflection in the air - it is very interesting and not even guess! But now you know
We loved everything about the hotel. Prime location for sightseeing.
Great hotel. Very nice staff. Really enjoyed the stay
Nice, clean hotel, but a bit boring. The 4-star Renaissance I stayed at in Hamburg was much nicer than this 5-star Marriott.
Service and breakfast were good. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the breakfast buffet's espresso machine!
The pool and the gym were nice as well. I enjoyed swimming a few laps after spending a day visiting this incredible city.
Location is excellent for visiting the city -- many major landmarks are within walking distance!
