There are no words to describe this building, which is undoubtedly one of the biggest (if not biggest) architectural references in the entire city of Porto!
A real breath of fresh air, in an area that has been losing momentum in the last few years.

The building is very impressive and undoubtedly special. We logged in from the secondary entrance, from which we then arrived at the reception, where very kind staff gave us all the information we requested. The paid tour proved quite complete, and the guide was very prepared. The building is very particular inside, perhaps one of the most significantly pop buildings in Portugal and in Europe itself. I recommend it for those interested in architecture and design, but also in music.

To be seen! Interesting. The only regret: the Italian language is totally ignored as far as guided tours are concerned.

It is undoubtedly one of the most important venues in Porto. Famous also for its architecture, it urgently needs extensive revitalization. Few times to visit and at a price that could be lower, the mood of the service is not the most courteous.

Mostly focused on classical music (orchestra and chamber music).
It also offers musical workshops.
As the name siggests it's the house of music so, if what you are looking for is related to music and if you are into more formal genres I can garantee you'll enjoy a concert in the halls of the building!

The Casa da Musica is a stunning building that is worth visiting just to appreciate the architecture. I had the chance to attend an orchestral performance and the acoustics were excellent. The seats are also spacious and comfortable. The area where people hang out during intermission was also quite well-designed and comfortable. Staff and friendly and efficient and it is conveniently located close to transit.

Interesting tour but sadly we weren't able to go into the center hall as they were setting up for a concert scheduled for that evening. Note there are LOTS of stairs.

I love this place! It has a nice coffeeshop where some artis play their music and sometimes it happens to be a small concert outside. The architecture is also quite interesting and the theaters have great acoustics. And last but no least, the staff is always helpful and gentle.

It is emblematic of the city of Porto, located next to the Boavista roundabout.

Casa da musica is a sensational place, I was reluctant to invest to know something that looked like a "concrete block in the middle of the city with a different shape", but taking advantage of an event that I had while in Portugal I was IMPRESSED. The guided tour is super interesting, the architecture of the place was all thought out, full of stories and objectives, it was magical. I started to see that place with different eyes and a lot of affection

Good reasonably priced breakfasts and a large parking lot. I bought a three-day voucher at 45 with full freedom of entry and exit.

I was quite displeased because we were coming to our family for a birthday party and at 23:50 we were no longer served the drinks we wanted in the least strange since the closing time is at 12pm.

A must to visit a building of these characteristics. Visits in Portuguese and English. For those who like architecture, they will enjoy being able to visit the entire building and explain it in detail.

We expected a lot in this place. Been to this building in the afternoon a day of August. To our surprise, the staffs there told us that it's not possible to wander around like free travelers. Visitors must be accompanied by a tour guy. So our visit was limited at the first floor (souvenir shop) C'mon! From the outside, it's like a concrete block and not really a 'wow' architecture.

Besides, the staff there told me that in August there will be no events. Very quiet month in Porto. So it'd be better to check your time of visit. Anyway I enjoyed the monument nearby a lot.

Although the prices are not so affordable, the place is spectacular, just like its concerts!

A really interesting building classed in the style of a Monolith. Had a tour around rather than going for a performance. Its vast in its scale but functional in its use. A worthwhile visit if you like musical culture or interesting structures.
