It's a stunning location for music lovers. I just listened to a classical music concert from the Porto symphony orchestra , it was a big pleasure, the acoustic was really good.

I was on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Portuguese rock band UHF in the Sala Suggia. In front of the stage there are about 1700 seats, on a tribune behind the stage about 200 seats and on a front laterally attached balcony about 25 more.
The rock group played with amplifiers and speakers. The volume was sometimes exhausted to the pain threshold, where I have temporarily pushed my flexible hearing protection into the ear canal. Nevertheless, no overdrive or echo effects / feedbacks were to be lamented. So the acoustics seem to be excellent.
As a longtime supporter of the UHF, I was very happy to be present at this memorable event.
