Casierita, o femeie in jur de 60 de ani, tocmai m-a amenitat cu "Daca nu eram la munca te aranjam eu pe tine", dupa ce i-am zis ca nu e nevoie sa-mi tranteasca lucruri in fata si ca nu asa se poarta un anagajat cu un client.
Dupa ce am facut o reclamatie la Manager, acesta a ridicat din umeri...

Nu m-am simtit niciodata asa de umilita intr-un magazin!

The billa made shop in carefour is in the basement of the Star store. Unskilled staff, inadequate cashiers, old queue houses, and small money issues, shelf prices do not match those at home.
Initially at the house there was a billboard saying that if you stayed for more than 5 minutes in a row, you received 5 lei back but then hidden the billboard, they went bankrupt!
Employees quarrel with the clients, it is a circus image.
If you need something urgent you can go shopping, but you have to swallow what I wrote above ...

Good market place, very clean and accessible! But they lack some products and also some products were out of number (not enough of them were available on the shelves).
But overall good place with good prices.

Very small, don't have a big variety of goods. Prices more expensive than in Carrefour hypermarkets.

My go to grocery store in Brasov. A good selection of sausages, pork, chicken, vegetables and fruits. They did not have steak, lamb or seafood. Other wise a good place to shop.

The shop under the Star complex. Good selection but all the time queues too long at the cash registers. Rarely open more and the staff seems always out of touch with any situation.

A proper supermarket. Fresh produce. The service is typical for Romania, which can seem terrible to an American like myself. Be careful to match the price tag to the item you are buying. The price tags are frequently NOT for the item directly above them. This leads to shock at the register, or more likely, at home because the speed of checkout precludes seeing the prices. Also there is a farmer's market that operates in the car park on one side of the building. Bring your own shopping bags.

A good variety, prices not to small not to high, according to the central location but way to much time spent at the checkout.

A decent shop for everyday shopping ... without offering a wide range of products

You can find more high end products here than in other supermarkets.

This was our neighborhood market during our 5 week stay in Brasov, so we were here often. The check-out lines can get long at any time of the day as it is frequented by locals and tourists alike. This Billa is well stocked, well organized, and clean.

It smells very bad (burned, fried) when the employees cook the semi-finished products in the morning. If you are more sensitive, your stomach turns upside down.
