Good site with excellent staff, and in a great location. Pitch wasn't as large as expected to say we booked the largest possible, it gets a bit tight with a caravan when parking the car as well, but it was grand - we managed.

Great campsite ... because a nice place, good toilet facilities and very nice people.
One small thing ... you can't let your ice packs 'load', which is a bit inconvenient. (is possible at all campsites in Spain, so why not here?)

I looked at several campsites and various options before deciding to book at Camping Itxaspe, and as soon as I entered the reception I knew that I had made the right choice.

The guys who run it are super friendly, and do everything possible to make your stay comfortable.

The location is fantastic with beautiful views over the sea and there are fabulous coastal walks from the campsite! The facilities are clean and very well kept. There is a small shop where you can buy supplies within the campsite and also a restaurant. I believe there s also an outdoor pool, but wasn t available as we visited too early in the year. The staff are very helpful and friendly!! I highly recommend this place!!

We've been here 6 nights. Wonderful. The view of the pool over the sea looks like a movie. Everything impeccable, from the friendliness of the family to the general conditions of the park. I would add only one point of water and a trash can next to the grills. It is possible that we will return, even in passing.

Unbeatable treatment, exquisite infrastructures and pristine cleanliness

It already starts with the reception where you are told in a nice way that you are in the Basque Country and that we speak Basque here so you immediately receive a translation of hello (kaixo), goodbye (agur) and thank you (eskerrik asko) . We arrived earlier than we had booked and although the campsite was packed, everything was done to accommodate us that night, and if you are all set then come check in or tomorrow is fine too.
The spots are indeed not large, but there are real pearls like ours (i4).
The sanitary facilities are really neat and clean all day long.
The only downside we find is the restaurant, which is actually a refined cafeteria, and the food is nothing to write home about.

I didn't think it was right that I called 4 times. They confirmed a price of 22.50 for a car and an adult. When I arrived they said it would be more than 30 and I only have 5 minutes to see if I like the square that was above everything, together with a lot of tourists. I also saw / heard other things at the reception that did not seem correct to me even though it is high season and they are full.
I will NOT return. I felt cheated after having driven so many kilometers and being extremely tired.

I like camping with a Spanish atmosphere more.
However, the restaurant next door had a good view, and is a good starting point to find out / visit the Geopark. There is a viewpoint nearby although the viewpoint of Zumaya (Zumaya is very close) is almost unbeatable.

We had already gone more times, the campsite itself is very good, good treatment by the staff, the campsite is very beautiful, the pool is beautiful with spectacular views, the bar also has very good views. The only "bad" thing and I put it in quotes was the last visit because there were too many people to be in full cornavirus, the bathrooms were full, they were not cleaned as often as it was due (I have been in other places and you could tell the difference) and I think it was because of the number of people we were for the size, because we have been other times and this has not happened. In addition to letting people put up to two cars on the same plot when they are supposed to keep their distances ...
So will we be back? Yes ... but out of season, because they are not measured like that, it gets out of hand, they let in until they are full. In others that I have been closed long before.

The view is great, especially from the swimming pool and from the places without electricity. From the camping you can make great walks to the ocean and cliffs. By car or by train you can visit many other nice spots. The staffing is extremely friendly. Toilets, showers, etc are good and clean.

Not too big but a great campsite with a very friendly family who run the place. The sons speak excellent English. Nice big places on a number of terraces. Free WIFI near the reception. Renewed swimming pool and beautiful toilet facilities. Beautiful environment. Well worth it.

Amazing!! Highly recommended, the views are spectacular and with the pool at one level a joy and the slide very fun. It is very well equipped and if you need something they are happy to help you, they are very kind and friendly. We will return for sure !!!

The campsite is located in a very beautiful region, with a magnificent view from the terrace and reception and also from some places. Many places are (too) small, the swimming pool is also small for the number of visitors in high season. Too many Dutch people, which is nice for the children to make contacts with. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Plumbing is good, was always clean.

As positive points would highlight the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the bathrooms, the area for barbecues and the enclave in which this campsite is located. From here you can make several hiking trails with spectacular landscapes and views, visit several villages that are within walking distance as Zumaia, Getoria and Zarautz and enjoy very good beaches. Also, from Zumaia you can take a direct train to San Sebastian and forget to pay tolls and parking in the city.
However, I must point out that the plots are very, very justitas. We took a median and we had never met such a small plot. We had a hard time maneuvering to put the caravan (small) and the car entered with difficulty.
The plots, in addition, have nothing of privacy. They are followed, very close and without separation.
Our plot faced a cliff and below were some football, basketball and ping pong courts. The latter is not the responsibility of the campsite, but the balonazos and shouts were constant for more than 13 hours a day, which greatly influenced our rest and well-being.
Despite these drawbacks, we will surely return.

We had a lovely time at Itxaspe ,stunning views from the pool and terrace bar.The showers ,washing area and toilets were immaculate.The area is a joy with lovely beaches and interesting towns and villages.Lastly the staff at the campsite were helpful in a way that made our family and guests welcome.

Fantastic camping and staff Fantastic stay, the staff took great care of us, very friendly. The great campsite, very well located, beautiful, well-kept. The comfortable and beautiful bungalow, with WiFi that works very well.
Like but the water in the shower was regulated fatally so I would shower you with either cold or burning water and the cistern lost a little water.
Otherwise a stay of 10. We liked it so much that we extended the stay.

The campsite is in a beautiful setting, the pool overlooking the mountains and the coast. The worst thing is that there are no beaches for dogs nearby and it greatly limits mobility, plus every time you go out you have to go through a toll. The staff is very available and you can eat well at the bar.

A spectacular camping, with views that you do not believe. I do not put 5 stars for the time of check out, which is at 11 in the morning, for me too early if you want to have breakfast calmly, pick up everything and load, you have to get up a little early. For everything else great, people who work super nice, the bar food, the store ... very good!

Wonderful place to relax. At the end of our vacation we managed to get a place here. It was by far the most expensive place we had in 6 weeks, but also the quietest and one of the most beautiful. Super nice and helpful hosts at the reception, very nice pool (slightly salty), perfect sanitary facilities, nice sports and playground, nice crowd.
Our place was without a sea view, but very quiet (apart from the sheep with bells from the neighboring farmer).
The selection of food was very good and sufficient, but compared to other places in the classic supermarket products in non-organic extremely expensive).

Highly recommended It is in a beautiful setting, very clean. the facilities (toilets, sinks, showers, bathrooms, ...) are very good, and above all the attention of the owners is very good. ESKERRIK ASKO to the family that bears it. Surely we return.

After a few stops along the French and Spanish Atlantic coast we ended at Camping Itxaspe for our final stop and it was the best one!

The wood cabin was spacious, beautiful and the view of the veranda stunning. The staff at Camping Itxaspe is very helpful and friendly in every way.

For outdoor cooking there is a shared area with a few fixed BBQs that everyone can use and there are tables there so you can either eat by the BBQ or bring things back.

The pool is lovely with plenty of shallow spaces for younger children and there is constant supervision.

Our only comments are that kitchen of the cabin is not very well equipped for decent cooking and the camping restaurant is very basic not varied and certainly not offering very balanced options.

Having said that we loved our stay and were very said to leave. We hope to come back and visit Itxaspe and the area again.

Very good camping d d the best area but the best. Awesome views, the incredible pool, has a playground and always clean bathrooms, also have children's bathrooms. The store has the essentials and in the bar it kome very well. The staff at their best are very friendly and friendly. I will definitely repeat.

Camping with good facilities, we stayed in Bungalow in July 18, very quiet and the people were very friendly and attentive. It has a restaurant where having a beer overlooking the sea is a real luxury.
I recommend and will surely return.

Lovely campsite with spectacular views!! Very relaxing and dog friendly. We did want to change our plot to one with a view but the owners/reception staff were very adamant that it was impossible, which is understandable when its busy. The walks are great in the area however a little steep on the way back to the campsite. The reception staff are very helpful and explain everything to you very clearly! We will defiinately return when possible!

Nice camping with unbeatable views. Comfortable bungalows and beautiful stone accesses adorned with floor lanterns. Ion and Gorka, were the ones who are attended in most moments and their treatment is friendly and attentive at all times. A very pleasant family atmosphere, we will repeat without a doubt. Itxaspe is a beautifully situated campsite with excellent facilities. You pay more for the larger places, but then you also have the space. Camping can serve as a base for visiting San Sebastian and Bilbao

I love this campsite. Spectacular views and surroundings in the middle of nature, forest and the sea in the background.
The facilities are modern and well equipped. They have a store to buy almost everything, a bar-restaurant, a spectacular pool with an infinite view and even a slide.
The downside is that the pitches are very small, it almost costs to fit a car + tent, which means that you are very close to the other campers.
The staff is very nice, although somewhat slow in the bar service and relaxed in the shop and reception ... Maybe because we come from a busier life ...
But, despite this, we have loved it and we will surely return!

Had to leave spontaneously in the evening, this night was then no longer calculated ... where's this? As soon as the North of Spain, this camping site wants to be a compulsory spot!

The views of the campsite are spectacular. Impeccable and clean facilities. Very friendly staff at reception. However, we would not return: we paid the most expensive plot of our lives: 50 for a night in a tent; besides, the plots are small and they are so close together that you did not have any privacy.

We loved it there. The view is unique, the people very nice, highly empfwerenswer!

If I could award negative points, then these would be justified for this place!
The place is noisy, the plots tight and way too small and for 30 to cash (without electricity) is the absolute rip-off! You have absolutely no privacy, no hedge to the neighbors, you sit close to each other and with a bulli you can hardly rank!

If you then notice that this is probably a bit too expensive, the staff at the front desk gets rude and said that we can drive again, if we do not fit. So far the worst place on our tour. Absolutely not recommended!

Our first camping in Spain - I would return, but I would change the plot we had the first time!

First, the positives, Absolutely lovely people running the site and attached bar/restaurant - wonderfully friendly and helpful. Location is amazing with spectacular views. The facilities were good, kept clean and not overcrowded - quite modern too - with 2 separate "blocks" providing service to the two ends of the site. The on-site shop was good and well stocked - and not too expensive. The Bar/Restaurant served nice drink and a good (slightly limited) menu - more good "pub grub" than restaurant I would say.

My only issue was the pitch - and to be fair we choose it ourselves online before we arrived - D32. It was slightly too small for both our tent and Gazebo to sit comfortably on - which are both circular and trying to fit on a rectangular pitch - but this was the first time this has happened to us when camping. Secondly, because the weather had been so dry and hot, when it rained, the pitch became a clay mud-bath - it was squishy under the tent for a week.... Ironically we had chosen D11 on the opposite side for our first night - and that would have been a perfect - size and dryness - pitch :)

Finally, the beach is amazing, but accessing it is very challenging - the path is overgrown and very steep - and not very clear. when you get there, octopus spotting is a must and is great fun - we saw 4-5 at least - including one "walking" along the flysh from pool to pool :)

Overall, really positive and I would go back - really good location to go to Bilbao and San Sebastian and Haro - perfect triangle for culture, food and wine - just choose your pitch wisely!

Nice campsite with very friendly owner and lovely helpful staff.

Great view, but not from all seats. Some places are very small and, at least here, many of them were muddy and therefore strewn with debris. Sometimes long distances to the sanitary facilities, but half of them are very modern and clean, the other half is old but still clean. Hardly any hanging options at the electricity-free places. The washing machine costs 4 . Will not come back and leave tomorrow.

Very friendly campsite, multilingual staff available. Typical restaurant and bar open late. Sea and mountain views throughout the campsite. Possibility to go to the creeks from the campsite (a bit of a walk). Fun swimming pool and solarium. Games for children football and basketball fields open at all hours. Shelters to eat with barbecue and table. Grocery store at reception with good prices and regional products. We have tested everything apartment, bungalows and tent. Swimming pool and free WiFi and always an idea to satisfy customers (restaurant, walks ...) a great natural campsite to spend a great family holiday

Very good camping one step away with Deba's car. Clean and quiet and you can rest. Very good souvenir shop and do not miss the basics. If you like surfing, it's your place because of the proximity of nearby sites. Very friendly family camping and we will certainly repeat, we did not rent a bungalow for four and despite being something small we managed phenomenally for the holidays.

Fantastic place to connect with nature. Routes on foot, by boat ... the flysch that accounts for the passage of millions of years on earth even includes data on the extinction of dinosaurs. Must visit

the campsite is crowded and the plots muddy and grass-free. This campsite is a cash factory and the staff are stubborn and dismissive of the French.
Nothing is accessible on foot, neither the villages, nor the beach. In short, very disappointing, I advise against it.
