A great spot for drinks or small tapas! Waiters are very nice and the space at the terrace is great. During weekends or Thursday and Friday nights is full! so think about getting there early or reserve.

I waited a good 20 min, the server has passed many times in front of me and completely ignored me (The restaurant was empty). I went to ask if it was service at the bar and he said "ah I saw you alone, I thought you were waiting qqn! Funny service! Too bad such an inconsistency between the place that is nice and the non-professionalism of the server in question. Good at least the coffee was good and the jazz in inspiring background.

The terrace is great with its heat lamps but the interior stresses me. It's really cool!

A real gem of a cafe. Coffee on point, limited menu but the food was fresh and full of colour and flavour. But I reserve my biggest praise for the service - not being a French speaker, I knew I would struggle but I didn't feel out of place talking with the staff in English (I really need to pick up some basics before i travel). Special shout-out to Martin who looked after us on both our visits. I hope to come back again.

Recommendation: coffee and eggs Benedict with salmon.

The food and drinks are great at this place, with generous portions and good prices for Lausanne! We completely over-ordered after assuming the portions would be smaller - the planchards especially are huge! Only problem is that it s super busy at weekends but there are just not enough people working the tables. The staff, when they do serve you, are not given the chance to be welcoming as they are too rushed!

Very nice but the servers have this little hand "French" that displeases both the Swiss, they seem to want to show they are better than us

Be prepared to wait for quite a bit during lunch time. Unfortunately the food is not worth the wait and is over priced.

Crowded for brunch but nice. They had zapped my comment about the stroller in the reservation but were able to find a solution.

Very difficult to know how many stars to put in this place. Nice restaurant with a superb menu, fresh products and original menus. Too bad the service is not up to the place and its cuisine.

I work in the neighborhood and go there regularly with my colleagues, whether for aperitifs or meals. Some waiters make it clear to us that we are not welcome! Once, I ordered a dish that contained a small silver thread like in sponges to clean the kitchen, I kindly point it out to the waiter who takes it really badly !!!

He comes back to me with a super annoyed tone to tell me that my plate will be offered. I told her that I wanted to pay her, that it happened (I was not at all angry). He continues in his annoyed tone as if it was me who was at fault, who is the client ?!
He then goes behind the bar to talk to his colleague looking at me and gesturing towards us.

This story is not the only one and I will not spread it more because I find it a shame to give a great restaurant a bad rating for one or two super rude waiters! We are a small office of 15 people who took great pleasure in coming several times a month. We will not come back to that.

A coffee delivered without milk, without biscuit or chocolate, cold at a price of 3.9frs! We ask the rest if it is the same level?

Nice bar, good atmosphere, good service, reasonable prices and a lot of choice in terms of drinks. I did not eat there so I can not judge on it. Well located with an open public. Only downside, service a little slow or orders forgotten.

Quick service, lovely staff. The coffees are amazing and so are the drinks and the food! Also, the covered terrace makes is possible to enjoy time outside without freezing.

Good potential at the frame but slow service. I ordered my beer at the table and had to go to the bar three times to claim it. At the time of paying, the waitress, with whom we had been understanding and to whom we did not feel anything was unpleasant.

We came at 11 on Saturday without reservation and managed to get a table for 2. Ordered the plats with corbeille and got small orange juice with it. The plats came in large size, very good salad, and fulfilling. Good price vs. quality. Totally recommended!

They changed the card and the food was less good than it used to be

I had brunch together with a friend of mine. It was very delicious. Yet the place was very crowded and because we hadn't booked any table we had to seat outside where there are some table. It was half open with some electrical hearing system therefore was not cold. A bit a nagative point is that we had to wait more than half hour to be served. Not big deal if you have spare time, which unfortunately was not our case. Anyway I think it's a very good place to enjoy a Sunday brunch with friends ;)

The small cafe for this posed whether with friends or for work, the place is always pleasant and warm. The menu and the quality of food and drinks is good.

Nice place, the service deserves to be improved. Despite the poor service, in general, I will return.

Not only the nice staff was the absolute hit when I visited, but also the unique atmosphere. It's always fine and we had a nice afternoon there. Decorations on the tables and in the entire restaurant are appropriate and nice. The toilet is constantly clean and all in all the place gives a good impression. I mostly didn't want to share the dessert with my husband at all. We have learned something from it and will each order a dessert next time.

Perfect for a casual night

At first glance, I had been recommended to eat.

I booked on the terrace. Arrived on site. There were three free tables and two people seated at the table we had reserved. I said to the waiter: it does not matter, we will be well at the other table, it is not worth disturbing these people. I didn't want to be painful but the waitress still bothered her customers. To whom we apologized. An embarrassing situation upon our arrival.

We ordered a burger, a salad and two mocktails. The cocktails were impeccable but unfortunately the meat was charred to the limit of the consumable. The fries were good but way too salty. I reluctantly swallowed this dish which I still paid for around 20 CHF. But for this price it's madness! If I had known, I wouldn't have spent a single penny. Worse than 5 guys is to say.

The atmosphere was relaxed but I left the restaurant with bad memories. It was a salty experience as was the bill.

They do not know what a flat white is, a fundamental coffee that has to be on the menu if you serve coffee. They moved me around because the lunch hour was approaching and it was not convenient for them to be sitting at a good table to consume only coffee.

Balzac chocolate was a good discovery. On the other hand, in terms of the quality of the service, we found that the servers (men therefore) had a rather strange behavior. Indeed, despite the fact that my brother and I were positioned right next to the bar, they ignored us all along (the payment service), and that even after recall. It took an amiable waitress who takes our order and our payment. Too bad to have lived this, because the anchoring of a first experience is quite durable.

Nice and emblematic place of Lausanne, tempting tapas menu and very famous for its Sunday brunches. Atmosphere and relaxed music, on the other hand the service leaves something to be desired (waiter not very friendly, the kitchen has trouble making the difference between medium and rare meat and impossibility of ordering a coffee after 22:30 according to our server. .) to recommend for an aperitif or light meal.
