I loved this place so much. One thing I wish they would do differently is put more animals because when I went, they only had one tiger and it was like that with some of the other ones. But if you like rides, I totally recommend it. Also, the safari was INSANE!!! Have fun if you go!!!

Was way better than expected. Should have bought the quick queue, but even so, beautiful surrounds and great assortment of rides at a reasonable price.
Great time, a lot of people these days. Long lines and some rollercoasters not in service. Other than that a great place to spend the day. I recommend the all day food offer. The smoke house and ribs is delicious.
Highlights of so many other parks come together in one. We enjoyed beautiful weather and fun full day of bearable line wait times. Souvenir cups and drinks are must buys
Good food and good rides. The safari was honestly really good but we had to cancel it half way through for bad weather. We got a full refund though. Overall, a great experience. Just wear a mask :)
We Loved busch gardens, Every roller coaster is Awesome!! I really Loved the elephant an the cheetah and hippo !! The flamingos were so pretty too .The staff was so friendly and gave good directions and not 1 person was ill or had a bad attitude. Great job Busch Gardens !! The food was awesome and the All day dining is a must ,if not you will pay 50-60$ for 2 small meals ! And must try twisted tails Key lime cider and pretzel dog !! I will definitely be back, I thiught it was better than Universal by far .

Great roller coasters, it's the one thing they do right. Staff was okay, nothing special. For some strange reason there beer price is higher than both disney and universal. Food is good from the smokehouse place the rest is basically theme park food. It seemed like they raised the prices to match the other theme parks around without matching their quality.
Took us 2 days to get through everything in the park and I still don t think we did everything lol. It s like a zoo, amusement park, with nice restaurants all around the park. Loved every moment.
Such a great time! I wish I could be there all day! Get online and look at the website they offer almost a 75% discount during the winter season. But you HAVE to buy online 25.00 is way better than the 75.00...

Buy your ticket online in advance. Buy a season pass and they give you a 2nd park free, like Adventure Island.
Adventure Island is seasonal, due to close soon so buy at the beginning of summer.
They have also brought back the free beer, being owned by Budweiser.
Going during the holidays is fantastic. Especially Christmas. We like to go, New Year's Day, too. Just a wonderful year round theme park!
Fourth of July fireworks were amazing! Hard getting out after but that's to be expected. Overall a pleasant experiencs!!
I absolutely love Bush Gardens!!! I have been going there early for the past twenty years. Some changes I liked others I didn t but bottom line it s a great park to enjoy. Lots of roller coasters and wild animals. This year free beer is back to celebrate the 60 years. The park offers free shuttle service from and to Orlando in various areas. Reservations is recommended but you might be able to fit in on a slow day of season if you have a small party.
Today is half day for public school so we brought our granddaughter and the main children's section closed at 3:00, nothing online it was closing early or posted at the entrance of the park that the section was closing early.
On top of that they closed the rides down at 2:30 in the children section.
This is crazy.
I will say 99% if the staff has been nice.
Soooooo the first time we visited about one month ago the park it was very disappointing.
However since we're platinum pass members I thought let's give it a tray again.
The weather was perfect, they had planned activities for the kids and all the animals were lovely. We're going to return to explore more the park more.
3 rides open, which they closed every time it rained. (It's Florida, we get rain.) Wait times were over 2 hours per ride. Minimal staff, so there were people smoking in animal exhibit areas. .
The animal.part was nice but couldn't take train cause -you guessed it- closed due to rain.
Fun and exciting. Got to see the prequel for the Lion King. My daughter got an unexpected talk also. But oh well
We have family from Peru visiting us today. So we went to Busch Gardens with them. We have an annual pass and Busch Gardens honored us with $10 gift cards to spend on whatever we want in the park. So we took advantage. Thank you Busch Gardens.
I have been here with my wife for my birthday and enjoyed the every rides and safari tour.It was nice place for me to test my new camera as well.It was very quite day which allows us to get on every ride without waiting much.Everything was so nice till we got hungry and tried to eat somewhere in there.People doesn t look happy at all who works in food and beverage department they look like they don t wanna be there.Slow service in a slow day doesn t look good.It s make me feel like I was bothering them ordering stuff.Employees working for rides were really attentive and nice.
We had a wonderful time. All the staff we encountered were friendly. We enjoyed how close you get to the animals on the train ride. I would suggest you skip going on a holiday however. We were there on MLK Day and lines were extremely long. 1 hour wait and more for rides.
I really like the steps they're taking to stop the spread of Covid 19 at their parks. I saw them routinely cleaning the coasters, telling people to keep their masks on, adding lots of hand sanitizing stations and keeping everyone distant and enforcing their rules.
Overall, a good park with rides for all ages, decent food, and good value. It lacks Disney's consistant quality at times and can be a bit nickle and dimey (have to pay for lockers, small things) but a park visit is still a fun way to pass a weekday (avoid weekends if you can). Annual passes are a good value for locals.
Husband's and I purchased passes 3 weeks before the parks closed in March (I am A HUGE fan of the group Home Free who were scheduled to perform at the wine festival).
We went for the first time 7/3/2020 and had a good time. We checked the site and so so we're prepared for masks, temperature check, and some closed rides/shows.
We enjoyed the experience and look forward to going back.

Love this place. Where else can you relax on a train an see wild animals roaming free only a few feet from you.
Fairly quick line times and the rides were great, its been 20 years since ive been here and it did not disappoint. I bought the ticket with the all you can eat meal and drink pass. Stayed all day and got my moneys worth..

I didn t end up using the guest ticket that I purchased for one of my friends and they won t refund me. Since my friend didn t go they aren t going to pay me for the ticket, so now I m out of $60 and I won t have time to even go before the ticket expires. Great refund policy Busch Gardens.
Also, everything is barely open. Half the rides were down for maintenance, there were NO game stands open, half the food stands weren t open, and part of the park closed two hours early. Why are you making people pay so much for an unfulfilling experience?
I went there for Bier Fest and spent $60 on the 15 beer lanyard. Only to find when I got there that this is for the small 7oz cup and not the 20oz cup.
Ok, so about 3x 7oz cups fit into a 20oz cup and a 20oz cup costs $11.99
That means that 15x 7oz cups is the same as 5x 20oz cup. That makes those 15x 7oz cups worth 5x$11.99 which is just short of $60, why is this a good deal for members???
The food items cost up to $8 and are worth one stamp so that makes a 15 sample lanyard worth $120 for food or only $60 for drink and remember that a silver/gold member gets a food/beverage discount so buying ala carte is the way to go for drink. Don t give into Busch Gardens bait marketing with Misleading information unless you want to use those for the Bier Fest food items. Rip Off, most leading and fraudulent marketing
Had a great time here. Well worth the price of admission and provides for a wonderful experience. Rather you re into animals, rides, or experiences- it s a win for everyone.
A really nice theme park with a nice focus on nature, animals, and greenery. Definitely missing that Disney touch, but their rides out OUT OF THIS WORLD.
The place was great on being clean an making sure all rides were sanitized!! Not everything was back open yet but still a great day with family!
Lots of things closed due to covid restrictions (we went in a weekday though) or because the park wasn't busy enough but it was still a great experience. I went on Cheetah Hunt (best coaster I've ever been on) and we went on the Safari tour (additional cost).
Everyone wore masks and the park was nit even remotely full so it never felt like we were at risk of catching anything, very well done.
This was the first time I had gone to Busch Gardens in Tampa but it was worth it for the safari and Cheetah Hunt alone. I mean, it's a zoo with a bunch of awesome rides!
It was good but it's such a expensive place they wanted 7 dollars for icecream and that's without tax

Lot of rides are available and at a same time you can see animals and birds. Good place to spend time with your family; there is fun for any ages children.
About food, I would recommend buying only snacks.....

The lines were endless and the seating arrangement were not well organized on any thing had to wait extra long because of missed management of seating
Always a good place to visit. Great roller coasters and the prices are very reasonable. Park itself needs a little tlc. The attractions, seats in particular, they are peeling on the protection for the body. They also smell some of them. Tigris the new roller-coaster even though is very short is very very good with some very cool surprises..it's a must on the park.

Always been a fan of Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Tampa but my family s last experience was horrible at the Tampa location. I purchased our tickets days in advance but did not expect the 2 hour wait (in the sun) just to get our temperature checked 3-4 hours after the park opened. There was no shade nor water provided for anyone, elderly and small children was no exception. Someone from the park was towards the front of the line offering mask for sale though! I understand the temperature checks but the wait should have never been that long or line not moving when they are using a Thermal temperature scanner. Once we entered the park, just to get water or anything to drink was an equally long wait. All day dining was a waste of money! Roller Coasters had a wait time of at least 100 minutes with the exception of Montu. Didn t understand the point of reservations when the park had the same amount of people on a regular summer weekend. I really wish I would of saved my money and not even wasted my whole day being dehydrated, tired and hungry!
Rides are fun but plan your trip to avoid long lines. Summer here is so hot it makes this place almost unbearable, but the slushie machines around the park with free refills are a nice touch. Some areas are a little dated, but overall still a fun place to visit.

This place has some great roller coasters! Please pay the premium parking fee for near the entrance parking. You'll thank me at 10pm when the trans are packed trying to get back to cheap parking lot.
The park was very clean and had a pleasant atmosphere. We visited over spring break and found the lines were not too long. Our party varied in ages and everyone found something to enjoy, although the younger members were unable to ride very many of the bigger rides. Food was pricey but not unreasonable. Would definitely visit again.
Went for our first Howl O Scream in nearly 10 years. Apparently we didn't do our research properly and were disappointed to find out there were no houses this year but instead about 10 scare zones to walk through. This was fine considering covid 19 precautions and there were shorter than average wait times except for a few coasters. We still got a couple of fast passes in the park for less than $40 and then we went on multiple coasters multiple times with less than 10 minutes of wait time. Not everything is open at night and some things are down for rennovations but all in all, it was a fun evening. If you want food, eat early as some places close down earlier than advertised based upon demand.
They are making sure everything is cleaned and making sure everyone's wearing mask and following covid-19 protocols. Park most of the time is not as busy because of reservations due to covid. Best time to go to the park because of the pandemic I love it.
First time ever on a roller coaster!! So freaking awesome but super expensive
This is by far my favorite theme park. It's all about the roller coasters and animals. Went here for my birthday and enjoyed their newest ride Cheetah! And let me tell you, it was FAST!! We got on Tigris too for the first time and it was fast too and has a few loops.
Very kid friendly and the wait times very not that long. Food was hit or miss but I liked the BBQ and the funnel cake with the soft serve ice cream. My only downfall is the prices for the food. High as normal with any theme park I suppose.
Excellent. Staff sprays down every ride with disinfectant then let's it go through a cycle empty to dry off. Social distancing was easy because there was only maybe a couple hundred people there.
Rides are great as always but never have food items available when I'm there and shows are often unavailable. With prices the way they are the season passes make it worth the purchase. Poor animals though as wonderful as it may seem they are always in there own quarantine.
I love Busch gardens but as for there staff and security they suck! The staff has the worst customer service there never helpful when you ask questions and when something happens to the animals like a brat kid throwing garbage in the Penguins tank. I told three different employees and it didn't seem like not a one of them gave a damn and one of them said the Zookeeper comes in the morning and they'll take care of that tomorrow I just thought that was pretty horrible somebody should have got that out of that tank that night it could hurt the Penguins. They should always have a zookeeper on staff!!!
We drove down from Gainesville and after varifying and driving all the way and find they changed openings is not fair as we have a autistic 4 year old that was looking forward to this day.
Fun for the whole family! My husband took our 8 year old grandsons to their age/height appropriate rides, while I did the same with our older grand-daughters.
Today we had the best Safari experience at this park. We ve been in safaris in Dubai,Thailand and Indonesia but this one was the best. Billy our tour guide was very knowledgable, kind and professional; he answered every questions our group had. Highly recommend this Serengeti safari tour were you can interact with giraffes.Thank you
Bier Fest must say The Red Sangria Delicious the Peanut Butter Whisky Great with Beers yes! Hand Sanitizer everywhere the average wait was about 15mins 2rides were close and barely no shows.. Suggestion During Alcohol Festivals it should be through out the park it was a lil annoying to keep walking to the beginning to go to bier fest then go back to the other side of the park I get the concept less intoxicated people but its a lil annoying Very fun and the food was good very affordable drinks were affordable also I wish I did the sampler but overall it was fun an I enjoyed myself..it felt good being an adult and feeling like a kid at the same time ..suggestion more trains. I wasnt able to see the zoo
They charged me for tickets I never bought for MONTHS. They admitted it was their mistake and that they would need to submit a refund request. It's been months now trying to get a refund for over 200 dollars. Nobody will answer my emails. Horrible business which I will no longer support. They should be ashamed. Don't get scammed by them like I did!
Loved Busch Gardens! Opted not to purchase the FastPasses, but lines weren't horribly long. The staff was excellent and they serve beer! Excited to return again and planning our next visit in the next couple of weeks. The Christmas lights are a nice seasonal touch too.

Love this place! Always a ton of fun. Rides are amazing, personal favortite is Shiekra. Went to the Howl-O-Scream event a few days ago. Absoulutley amazing. Got scared but it was so much fun. Can't wait to go back!
Money pit for sure. Spend the money get a fast pass and a food bracelet and you'll be able to ride more than 4 rides in 12 hrs
Was actually kind of disappointed. Most of the park of the kiosks were closed. I understand because of the COVID 19. But still there were lack of staff at the park. So overall it was a waste of trip to come down here to Tampa from Columbus Georgia
This is a fun and entertaining place to go! But I suggest the park add more water fountains.I spent a hour looking for one and I was really thirsty .
It was good, but need more coasters, make it a larger park, plus make the coaster seats more accommodating for larger people, like an extension belt for the shoulder harness.
Nice park definitely has a cool feel with all the animals! Some nice roller coasters but would love to see a B&M hyper added to the lineup! Staff wasn't overly excited to be at work during my visit. They were efficient none the less. Will visit again!
We had a horrible experience due to the website making it seem that there would be limited people in the park for the Halloween events. Turns out, they let 3k people in during the day and 6k people in for the nightly events. We were in the park for 4 hours and only got to ride 1 roller coaster. We will not be back to this place, EVER!
One of the best places to go for fun in Tampa is Busch Gardens! Christmas Town is amazing and riding on the train singing Christmas Carols was a blast. Seeing the lights all around was amazing and there were a lot of places to stop for good pictures.
It has a lot of things to do for everyone in the family. It has some of the best thrill rides in Florida especially Falcon s Fury and Cheetah Hunt. I like the thrill rides, but I also love to see the nature side of the Busch Gardens; the animals at the park. It s a good idea to take a train ride around park to see the African Serengeti Plain filled with animals to see safely up close.
Seeing the giraffes was cool and they were all huddled together watching the train go by except for one baby giraffe that stood off alone. It was sweet to hear the children s reactions to seeing the animals on the train, too! It was also nice to walk around the park and get an up close view of the other animals to, especially the Elephants, Gazelles in open fields and Gorillas behind glass.
There are also aquatic animals and the Penguins always put on a show! It s a great place to take children of all ages and adults have a lot of options for fun. There are shows and concerts, exhibits and amazing food to eat! I ve had the privilege of going to many theme parks here and this is one of my favorite places. If you like Lowry Park Zoo and Sea World, you ll love Busch Gardens.
I must say Busch Gardens is one of my favorite parks and have visited many times.
Our most recent visit was 7/19/20. I was impressed with measures taken on their part for safety such as Social Distancing markers, temperature checks and mask requirement.
With that being said there was little enforcement of those measures. While in line for a drink a group cut in front of us without masks. The worker said nothing to this group about use of masks. We ended up leaving after an hour because we consistently saw that throughout the Park.
We didn't hear any announcements about safety while in the park. Disney recently implemented measures to remain stationary while eating drinking to enhance safety.
Would be nice to see Busch implement more enforcement of safety measures. Hopefully it is a learning course. Would love to be able to return and feel safe at one of my favorite parks.

With the requirements of wearing masks, prepare for a VERY HOT trek. The limited hours make it a rush to get to the roller coasters and almost force you to get the fast passes. Almost all the animal attractions are closed, the lorikeet area was open as well as the open area animal exhibits. A lot of the restaurants were closed as well as the small drink vendors.

Far too busy to accommodate a decent day of coaster rides. Wait times upwards of 2 hours on many rides. I know its Xmas time but the park cannot cope with these crowd levels and give value for money.
Overall good theme park. There are plenty of thrill rides with new additions constantly in the works. This theme park has become a little seedy throughout the years, but that is most likely due to the location. Season tickets are very reasonable though and it is worth the money to support animal conservation. They offer numerous behind the scenes tours for most of the big animals with my personal favorite being the giraffe encounter. Check this place out if you are in the area.

So I have had annual passes at Busch, Sea World, Disney, and Universal Studios and let me tell you Busch Gardens undoubtedly has the best rides.
Literally, every ride is beyond thrilling and exciting. Very few rides at Universal or Disney can stack up to even some of the worst coasters at Busch.
However, if you are looking for a place with THEMES this is not for you.
Overall, there is an African safari theme to the park, but few rides has any decoration or story lines whatsoever. This is not the place to get a ride through Space like Space Mountain, or see Snow White on the mine train.
This is the best way I can describe it: If your girlfriend goes to coffee shops and watches Grey's anatomy, leave her at the house! This place is not for the meek haha. But seriously, think about who you take here, boring people that don't ride roller coasters is legit a massive waste of time!
It truly is all about the THRILL at this place, and if you are into that, then you can't go wrong here! Seriously!

3 rides where closed. The bigger coasters are pretty amazing. My husband has a larger chest and couldn't ride all the rides. The park was very dirty compared to universal and the tickets where about the same price. If you like roller coasters this is a solid place.
Wow, what a fun night! The staff was vigilant about making everyone wear their masks. I went with about dozen friends and we had a blast.
Always a great day! So many things to see and do, no matter what the age. Not a bad ride in the park! Get there earlier in the day before it gets hot if you want to see the animals. If you have kids or grandchildren, there is a child's play area with rides, huge jungle gym and small water play area. Right now they are doing summer nights, so they stay open till 1000pm and you get to ride the coasters in the dark; how exhilarating! The family shows are good for every age. Food is good throughout the park, however the best food to seek out is the BBQ restaurant. They have ribs and brisket to die for. If you want to save on a drink, $15 for the souvenir cup, free refills all day. If your kids or you play pokemon, the park is full of poke stops and things to catch. Either way, you will not be bored. Finish the night of with fireworks, just make sure you find a good seat before 930pm.

Best time ever!! Arrive early to take advantage of the roller coaster rides then take a relaxing train ride through the Serengeti.
There is a cable car team that takes you across the park as well. Either way, it's a win-win situation.
Overall, this park had the best ride experience for our family!
BEST ROLLER COASTERS EVER. Beautiful wild life animals too. You get really close to all those beasts. Its awesome.
