Bocadero Review

Location is fantastic the Bacardi Mojito disappointed very badly (just dirty, very dirty).

Good location on the Scheldt with numerous eateries and party options. In the summer, tango and salsa initiations with subsequent dancing.
Nice view over Anteerpen center and left bank.

Bocadeiro is a fun and pleasant concept. At SALSA evenings it is nice that they open it at the back. Just wondered if it would be possible to do even more with that space. Sometimes you have to wait a long time for your drink. Now for the rest, the concept meets everyone's expectations. I like to come there !!

The restaurant is located on the river. Very nice idea of beach chairs especially in summer.

Got billed for drinks that we didn't consume. Unfortunately, I did not notice this while having drinks with friends. I just simply trusted that we would get billed as per what we ordered. Also, our food order was also botched. Instead of getting 2 fries and 1 bitterballen, we were given 1 fries and 2 bitterballen. Overall disappointing experience.

Had great summer experiences this year. Delicious drink with your feet in the sand. Soon back for a company party but then in the winter time.

No coffee because it is a summer bar, but they do hand out fleece blankets when it gets cold in the evening?

Nice shop! Directly on the Scheldt with a beach. The dance hall was very hot and the line at the bar very busy!

While the idea of a beach in the heart of the city is quite nice, this place feels often too fake. The setting is nice, but prices are too expensive and there often is nowhere to sit. In spite of these remarks, it still is a nice place to visit once or twice during the summer.

Super nice place, a bit remote, but this is the ultimate place to relax with your feet in the sand!

Indoor bocadero Aspen is very cozy and quieter than expected. Pillows, fire, nice and warm and nice music. Operation slow, a bit pricey. Parking now also paying.

Nice place on the Kaai with a view of the harbor! Nice in the summer where the hip people of Antwerp come to. Nice music that is danceable but that is also not too loud. Drinks are pricey!

Good service, good cocktails, smooth, friendly staff, without reservation, cozy, enough space for groups.

Nice place you can see the sunset! Fun vibes but sometimes I feel like it's a game like groups of guys looking for their prey. But still nice with the sunset and beach style in the city!

Wait 30 mins for them to bring our drink. All the soft drinks we got at the table were not cooled, and the glasses on the table were at least 40 degrees.
Menu or bank card are not disinfected, they are simply passed on to another table.
They lack a lot of experience here and the corona measures are poorly applied here.

Tuesday night is salsa night. Make sure to head over with the most comfortable pair of shoes you own, it goes down.

There aren't really any words to describe this place so I'll just say it's an awesome place to spend your evening(s). Fairly (competitively) priced drinks and snacks like 'tapa's', Belgian Fries, Pizza etc to go with your drinks.

Very friendly and good with the corona measures. The caesar salad was below average, everything else was ok.

The dancers come from far and wide for the pleasant atmosphere, the large number of dancers and the supply of fresh air through the large open wall on the water side.

Upon entering you will find a number of beach chairs and / or other seats where you can put on your dancing shoes. Very nice and very considerate of the organization.

On the terrace you can socialize with friends and relax in the lounge seats or cool off on a couch on the edge of the Scheldt.

On the terrace at the "beach" area, you can get all sorts of goodies to eat that is quickly ready

Nice location, on a sunny day you have a sense of vacation. Expensive, Duvel was served in a plastic glass. Payment with card is possible.

Eight years ago it was just a small beach bar at Waagnatie. Now Bocadero has grown into the coolest hotspot in town!

Sunbathe and chill with an ice cream on the sandy beach, enjoy a tasty meal in one of the four restaurants, sample the range of snacks from three take-away restaurants, network in an exclusive Summer Divin Apero bar, be cossetted in The Wellness Room or buy those essential summer accessories from the beach shop.

In the evening, Bocadero transforms into a cosy beach club with a covered lounge. Dream the night away with a delicious cocktail (or two!) and watch the sun set over the river Scheldt .

There s plenty going on all summer long festivals, markets and many more.
Whatever you do, don t miss the Tuesday evening salsa nights with DJ's.

Bocadero is also an ideal location for private or company events, which can be hired in part or taken over completely. The large private terrace overlooking the river and the indoor beach are great for private parties, receptions, birthdays and more!

Atmospheric spot on the Scheldt. Great place to sit if you want to sit in the sun and stare apathetic for you ..

A lot of money for what you get. If the weather is good you can enjoy the view.

We had lunch at the summer location of Radis Noir and thought everything was great: view, food and service. Well worth the price.

Lovely beach-style bar and restaurant just by the river in Antwerp. On sunny days you can amazing views of the river. There is a BBQ facility. The staffs speak English. Food is tasty. Drinks menu is limited, not much choices. There is a big parking place nearby, where one pays only 3.80euro for 24hrs of parking which is cheap by any standard. Heard the place also organizes DJs in the evenings.
