A story of HK, the meal was delicious in general but ingredients weren t the top for a 3 stars. The concept is what makes this restaurant standout from the crowd. Environment was definitely an excellent example for casual dining. The name of each course was special and of course the staffs were very attentive to us. Which was another plus! Loved their starters!

I really know if you go.
It's a creative dish that can be broken.
Don't blame the media for something you don't like.

Was there for dinner at the bar. Service was ok but not more. First course was really nicely done and very interesting. Main course, the suckling pig, was a disappointment, every street food stand can do this better. Dessert was again ok. All in all I would see the place as overrated and too expensive. Would not go again.

It's a waste

* Can I discuss Star Chef's Michelin 3 star without media?

I went on a trip to eat food here and I was very disappointed with the cost and expectations. Of course someone will like it
Personal review = personal preference. If I write like this, anyone who goes will go. Tackle off

The thing in this place is mainly the maddening Chinese steamed vegetables. When you eat a small bite, the taste....... I have already eaten a lot of mouth, but whenever I think of the fungus noodles and taste inside, I can't help but drool.
The delicious dishes here are very reasonable. You can eat a lot of creative food here with only HK$700. The service here is not bad.
The only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is that the interior lights here are too bright, not particularly "warm", but the key points will not affect me to come here again.
This is a good way for visitors to enjoy Chinese food. There is also a very lovely outdoor area.

The dim sum was better than the main course (suckling pig) but I thought the dishes executed traditionally were still better than their twist (and not as salty). Happy to have tried it though I liked the foie gras dumpling.

Fantastic food, service and environment. Chef Alvin Leung did an amazing job bring typical Cantonese dishes to the next level. I had the lunch menu $800-1000 /person +10% service charge. My husband has the wine paring (4 wines) $400 more. Excellent wines according to my husband. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are a foodie

Very interesting take on traditional Chinese food. The dishes playfully incorporate elements from Hong Kong culture of food either through taste or smell. Every dish was a surprise and while meal was a wonderful journey.

The food is interesting, but for a Michelin 3-star restaurant (2016), I would expect to be wowed by its creativity in flavour too.

Price is also VERY expensive at 300 USD a head.

Bo Innovation is a unique and engaging dining experience. When the waiter delivers each dish to the table, he tells a story about each dish s significance to Hong Kong culture and history.

The food is awesome and the plating is fun and playful. It s a great place to celebrate your next milestone - birthday, anniversary, job promotion, etc.

They also offer wine pairings, but we chose to order off the cocktail menu which was the only disappointment of the night. The cocktails lacked creativity, didn t have a WOW factor and were very expensive. I d recommend skipping the drinks.

well

There are many good restaurants in Hk so it s like a paradise for foodies. This restaurant is michelin 3 starred restaurant with extreme chinese cuisine. It s so unique. Food presentation & service & food & ambiance everything is just perfect. They will give you very new experience. Price is not cheap but you won t regret at all. Highly recommended. Difficult to make reservation!

I visited during festival, so I could only taste the most luxurious CHEF TABLE MENU. The location of the restaurant isn't very conspicuous. And the decorations aren't also sumptuous. So the best part of it is their food!!!!! It's the most special one that I've been tasted. It's also my first time to eat "Chinese Molecular Cuisine". Each dish is stunning and delicate. I would really like to visit again.

The creativity is incredible but the food is not tasty. It s wayyyy to salty beyond any other flavors you can taste. Here are the pics of $1300 dining experience that you can imagine. Tried several 3 michelin starred restaurants and my votes aren t for this place.

We had a great time at Bochuang. Had lunch here and ordered a great bottle of wine. Particularly fun way to serve the food is super delicious. The service is also very good. We will definitely come again. It's just perfect.

I like how traditional Chinese food was reinterpreted in their cooking. From reframing the humble canned dace fish as a fine dish, to deconstructing the classical chicken rice we grew up with. They also credited the bottled condiments and liquor products used for each dish. Kudos~

Service however was not as attentive as what I d have expected. These guys missed one of the dishes on our tasting menu and we had to point it out.

This is my first 3* Michelin experience. I did expect more but there's nothing much I can compare to. I had 8-course lunch menu. Some dishes were great, others were ok -- meaning it's delicious but not 'wow' to me.

It is a hands-on restaurant.

It is a hands-on restaurant.
It's a restaurant that you can enjoy visually and be amazed by the chef's ideas.
I don't want to see the same magician's magic show over and over again, so I think it's a good restaurant to go for a change. (I've been there for almost 10 years and went only twice. The iphone was damaged twice and there is no image.)

It's a completely different genre from Cantonese cuisine, which Hong Kongers usually think is delicious and feast, so you can enjoy delicious Cantonese cuisine and Hong Kong home-cooked food that locals go to, and then enjoy it at such a fascinating type of restaurant. I think it's good.

To put it bluntly, Hong Kong has almost no agricultural land and is almost self-sufficient, so we cannot expect much about the freshness of the ingredients (especially vegetables). You can get it in the vegetable garden, but the soil is not fertile.
The Michelin standards for restaurants in Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Japan are high, but I think the Michelin standards in Hong Kong are loose, so I still can't understand the stars that most shops have.

To be honest, I didn't think much of it when I visited 4 years ago. I just went again today and it was SUPERB. I haven't had something this good in a long, long time. The entrance is actually on Ship Street. Take a look at all the food pictures. The menu changes every month. They use quality ingredients! The servers were super nice and knowledgeable. They explained all dishes and how they were made. Impressive.
