Really wanted to like this place b/c its near me, but after a half dozen visits I have written this place off. Good food and service, but it doesn't live up to the price tag. Not even close. Kind of a joke how much they charge.

This restaurant opened many years ago and has kept its standards! When they renovated and added a bigger and absolutely beautiful bar I started going much more. They have Tuesday $1 oyster night and Thursday burger night which are both awesome! Also there is usually a themed tasting menu which they change frequently. From their standard menu I love the Spaghetti alla chitarra. It has fresh seafood and squid ink pasta. I ve also tried most of the appetizers and never was disappointed. As I normally sit at the bar I should mention the amazing drinks and bartenders. James and Dan are mixologists! I love their Faleena (tequila) and Espresso martini while my boyfriend loves the Five Fashioned (whisky).

If you're looking to go on a date, this is the place you want to go!

Enjoyed the Burns night dinner. The Cullen sink with fried oysters and salmon sausage on top of leeks and potatoes in a smokey chowder is especially memorable. The venison take on haggis was inventive and highlighted by foie gras. The whiskey based cocktails were also very good. The raspberry trifle was delicious. Appreciate the poetry and Scottish music. A gastro pub with Scottish fare would be a welcome addition to Medford.

Absolutely delicious food and stellar service. Tried the Valentine's Day chefs menu and it was amazing. Everything tasted spectacular and the flavors were incredible. I also adored their caipirinha! The drinks are strong and very well made. I will definitely be returning to try their regular menu!

Great food and friendly service! Had the 3 course Tasting menu. Octopus with chorizo and lime, Risotto with Fig and Gorgonzola, and Berkshire Pork with Ginger Peach Emulsion and Zucchini.
