Went with a reservation on a Thursday and glad we did! It was packed, but we sat right away. The atmosphere is great! The whole vibe of the restaurant is unlike others. The beers they brew on location are great, the food is out of this world good. Everything that we have tried since finding this restaurant is absolutely delicious and worth every penny. We had calamari, siciliano rice balls, egg plant parm and chicken parm.. delicious! Best of each entree we've had. The service at this restaurant is perfect. From the managers to the wait staff, everyone was happy and energetic. I loved the fact that the manager walked around filling glasses of water and speaking to guests. It was not overpowering and obnoxious in any way. I cant say enough great things about this place. From the second we walked in to the second we left, it was a great experience. Can't wait to go back!!

I have lived in Red Bank / Little Silver for years and nothing comes close to Birravino. Several birthdays, dates, and graduation parties later, it's still the best food, drinks and dessert ( the budino) red bank has to offer. With limited seating during these covid times you may have to fight someone for a table but it's worth it.

Ok, this is a restaurant you must try if your in the area or don't mind taking a short trip to go to. Our double date was during these covid times(April 2021) and we were seated under their large white outdoor dining area. It was fantastic even though it was a bit chilly outside of the tent. While eating the temperature was just fine. The waiter was incredibly helpful and informative. He educated us on some of the wines we tried and gave us the run down on what to expect. The food was great...and I mean that. The prices are just right for the food you get. The portions looked a little small but ended up being just right for each of us. This isn't a basic Italian restaurant, so expect to pay a but more, but its absolutely worth it. 5 star all the way around in my humble opinion.

I have been to this place many times prior to covid. The food is very good but portions tend to be small for an Italian restaurant.
I took my family out to dinner this past Thursday night, 8pm reservations.
Our waiter was great and during the conversation we discussed this nutella dessert that use to be on the menu.
Ok so we finish dinner and the family wanted dessert. The waiter tells us that they already cleaned up and stopped serving dessert. But you took my 8pm reservation, you know we would possibly want dessert since we discussed it earlier. Common sense was to ask us before the kitchen closes.
I don't think the kitchen should stop serving coffee and dessert when customers are still in the restaurant. This is not a McDonalds or a pizza joint. This is a higher end restaurant that isn't cheap, mind you the waiter charged me when the kids asked for soda refills.
I thought that was ridiculous, especially since you charge $18 for a glass of red wine which was great, but the soda charges c'mon! I take clients out to lunch and dinner in NYC at fine restaurants and majority of them would never charge a soda refill.

Nice restaurant with a microbrewery and large wine selection. About half the place is a bar and the rest is the restaurant. There are some outdoor tables for nicer weather as well. The place has an eclectic decor that leans towards industrial blended with a rustic flair.

The place is definitely louder and has a great buzz but the tables are far enough apart that you don't feel crowded.

The food was delicious and the portions nicely sized. Much cheaper for lunch than dinner. We had a couple of shared appetizers, four entrees, three desserts and two rounds of drinks for four people for about $75 apiece. You could easily spend more or save a few dollars by cutting out the drinks.

C'mon, where you gonna go to get better?.NYC? North Jersey? Italy? I've eaten here for YEARS; I will rate this as one of the TOP 3 eateries I've ever had the privilege to eat. It NEVER.. I mean EVER disappoints. Fresh made pasta, pizza, steak, bell and Evans Chicken, Berkshire Pork; I'm TELLING you.. This is pretty much the BAR when it comes to eateries..no matter how far you travel..and YES..I've been to Italy and Spain..and YES, he could 100pct open anywhere there and crush it every night; but we are here..and this is in Red Bank. He makes his own Beer, he routinely has Master wine makers from Italy come by for Tasting events. Yes it's OFF the HOOK.. And NO, Go where EVER you want. You may get cheaper..you WONT get better; quality or otherwise. They sweat the SMALL stuff.. ALL of it.
It is as a magical epicurean experience as you can have no matter HOW far you travel or how much you spend. I've tried EVERYTHING here.. And I really can't find a fault.

We went here to try it out and were pleasantly surprised.

The food was great, presented well and in decent quantities. The meatball appetizer was really good. We had become used to being disappointed with meatballs but these tasted like meat, without too much filler and lightly seasoned-with a great sauce.

The lasagna was wonderful. I always have trouble making 3 layers and theirs had five layers.

We had the lemon cheesecake and it was great too.

Fantastic! The food was so fresh and delicious. We loved it! I had the salmon and it was perfectly cooked. Nice atmosphere too, just a bit loud in the restaurant which was ok with us but it was a little hard to hear the conversation at times.

We have lived in the area for over 20 years and have been here several times and went again last night. As usual the food is delicious and the atmosphere is fun-albeit loud. My main problem with Birravino are the prices. One beer ($9), one glass of wine ($12), a dinner size salad ($16)and a plate of Rigatoni ($28) plus tip and it s nearly $80 for Italian food. The portions were not large-the Rigatoni -which actually looked a lot more like manicotti-had four pieces and a meatball. It was delicious-but $28? Really? And $9 for a pint of craft beer is nuts-later that evening I didn t pay more than $6 for a beer in town.

Disappointed that we made an 8pm reservation for 4 ppl days in advance, and when we arrived they didn t seat us until 8:45. What is the point? The vibe and food are very solid and we enjoy dining here, but the service is lacking a bit....Also noteworthy is that the pours at the bar are on the light side.

Cool vibe with great food and drinks. But as someone who has worked in the restaurant industry for many years..I have to say our server, Bobby, is the reason we will be back and bringing our friends and family. He was exceptional in his knowledge of the menu and his recommendations have our mouths watering for more. We were also impressed by his attentiveness while simultaneously taking care of a larger party. Thanks Bobby!

First time there. Wonderful atmosphere, great food and prompt, courteous service.
I had the Saltinbocca, and my wife had the Salmone. Both were delicious, as were the Cozze (mussels) for an appetizer, and the wonderful arrugola salad. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences. Will definitely go back!!

The food was very good. Portion size were way too small . I got a pasta plate ate it all and was still hungry. I got one meatball one small Sasauge and a little bit of pasta. The meal cost $99 for two plates with soup and one beer each that s a lot of money plus tip came to $118 for pasta... I get that everything is fresh made but come on..... I don t mind spending the money but I should have had some left to take home at that price.

I m definitely picky when it comes to Italian food but this is by far my favorite Italian restaurant in jersey. The food is excellent, the portions are decent and I enjoy the atmosphere and overall vibe of this place. Service definitely lacked and it took us awhile to flag down our server for drink refills but it was probably just a busy night. I truly adore this place.

I generally don t care for Italian food (probably because it s often made poorly) but this place is GREAT! Octopus appetizer was lovely, perfectly cooked and spiced. Beers are well made, with a nice variety in your custom flight. Each time I come here I am pleasantly surprised. Consider me a convert!!

Came back again! Sausage panini is off the charts delish!!

Back again!!! Branzino is off the charts! Another delicious meal!! So glad this place is here!!

We've been to Birravino many times and have never been disappointed. The food is always excellent and the wine selection vast and delicious. The inside vibe is great...hipster upscale casual. They are not cheap eats...but they are worth every penny. They deliver a full experience. That said, we recently visited during the Covid outdoor dining phase of NJ (mid Aug 2020). So everything was outside....and I have to say they delivered there too. They have a large dining area with most tables covered from sun and rain. We went on a Thursday and they had a pair of guitarists/singers set up near the entrance. I recommend a reservation, it was busy! The atmosphere outside is great! They even have direct outdoor access to a set of bathrooms in the beer garden. 5 Star pandemic friendly set up and service for sure! Finally the food. Hubby had is usual favorite, burrata pizza, and as usual he loved it. I had the cavatelli and it was amazing! My go to dish of orecchiette and sausage wasn't on the menu anymore...but this one quickly took it's place! We will be back for more outdoor dining for sure!

Really wide variety of meal options. I personally got the house brewed porter, which was good for those who like their porters on the sweet dude, the barbietole salad, and the rigatoni ripieni, all of which were good. Service was fantastic, as well as the environment. Would be good for groups, as they have long tables and gluten free and vegetarian options.
