Dr. Akin has been my Dr. for 31 years. He is always caring and attentive and his staff is pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Garcia delivered my baby boy a year and she was amazing. The entire staff was so friendly. I loved how they greeted me by name. It made me feel like I was more than just another patient.

Doctors and nurses are great, but wait time on the phone is ridiculous.

Dr. Phillips is the best ob/gyn I ve ever been to. He takes the time to listen and answer all my questions. He truly cares about his patients.
His nurses and staff put you at ease and make you feel comfortable from the moment you walk thru the door.

Dr. Aguirre is an awesome OBGYN hands down! I am due to have a surgical procedure in the next coming days, and thus far he as been very thorough and honest about everything that will take place. He is very knowledgeable and very easy on the eyes!!! I can say with full confidence, that I will recommend Dr. Aguirre to ANYONE who is need of a new OBGYN.

Dr. Phillips takes a genuine interest in his patients. He takes the time to talk to you about what is going on in your life and when I was pregnant with my first child he answered all my questions without rushing me through the visit. He and his staff are friendly and professional.

She is so sweet and sincere. She not only listens to your concerns but she will go above and beyond to make sure everything is ok. I highly recommend Dr Anderson!

I love this place. Dr. Anderson is always so warm and welcoming and I love the NPs that work with her. They always talk to me like a human being and can empathize with me and they give me the no BS information I need. Dr. Anderson educates me during appointments, which I love. She explains what I'm seeing and why it's there. I feel really taken care of and at ease when I visit Austin Area OBGYN. Plus, the atmosphere is just really great -- lots of amazing, friendly, strong, successful women with fun decor.

I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr Akin and his staff! I have been coming here for almost 18 years, and he delivered my first child and Dr Phillips delivered my second. The staff is warm, caring and compassionate and Dr Akin takes the time to really listen to you whether it involves obstetrics or gynological issues. They have also been wonderful with my recent breast cancer diagnosis earlier this year and grateful for the early detection that this office provides. I love how I get get everything done in one spot, from lab work, ultrasounds to mammograms. Emily and Suzanne are wonderful as well as nurse Judy and Sherry.

My annual visit with Dr Seeker and Deedee are a highlight of my year. The staff, from receptionists to checkout, are professional and courteous. Walking back to Seeker's area is like a visit to a familiar family home, with everyone so friendly and considerate. A visit to friends!

Always trust what Lori Dobbin has to say. She is professional and always takes the time to hear my concerns. I highly recommend her!

I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Dr. Wang. She was super warm, nice, and didn't make the visit feel rushed. I feel like in today's world when you go see a doctor, they practically have one hand on the doorknob waiting to get to the next patient. Dr. Wang was not like this, and took the time to ask me questions, and make me feel comfortable- not rushed at all. She also didn't force any unnecessary labs, tests, etc. or make any judgements. I can honestly say that my experience was great, I definitely plan on going back in the future! I know a lot of reviews on here claim there is a wait time, and yes, I did have to wait, but I was warned twice in advance- once when I made the appointment and the second when I showed up- I think I waited for about 30min - but again, I was asked if I wanted to wait, etc. I work full-time and I understand the frustration but again, when you are told advance..you have no reason to complain. And the Dr. Wang's whole team was super nice and very helpful - everyone from the front check-in desk to the checkout. Thank you AAOGN!

Didn t have to wait and Dr was very kind and listened to me. He made me feel like he is a great Dr. I think I found my Dr!!!

The entire office is nice and not mad about being at work! Dr Garcia is very good, she's interested in you and your thoughts/feelings, always happy and an awesome communicator. She makes your visits 10 times better whether you're nervous, scared, happy or sad...you'll absolutely love her!

Suzanne is amazing!! Always a pleasure to see her and she is always full of information... patience with answering questions and she is just wonderful at what she does! Have been seeing her for over 15 years and I am so thankful to be under the care of Dr. Akin and Suzanne. They are the BEST!!!

The providers and staff were great, however, I ve been turned away because I owe money which is less than 200 dollars. I was told I needed to pay it in full before I could schedule. I was not even offered a payment plan as an option. Now they ve blocked me from logging into the portal to retrieve my records. That s a violation of hippa. It bums me out that this is what healthcare has come to. All about making money instead of patient care.

One of my friend's recommended Dr. Capet to me. It was exactly how she had mentioned - "someone who really cares..!" Dr. Capet and her team is awesome. Usually obgyn visits make me super nervous, but Dr. Capet and her team made me comfortable right away. They were friendly yet super professional. I feel I have found my obgyn in Austin!!

Although the wait sometimes is long, but Dr Wang takes the time to listen to my concerns/questions.

I can t say enough good things about AAOBGYN. I have been going to Amy since I was a teenager and every step of the way she has been amazing! If you want a someone who truly cares about you as an individual vs just another patient this is the place to come.

Dr. Capet and ALL of the staff at Austin Area OBGYN are the absolute best. Dr. Capet has a way of making you feel like you are her only patient. I ve never had a doctor that made me feel like they genuinely cared about my overall health, but she does! Her staff is extremely professional, but friendly enough that you feel completely comfortable. Best OBGYN and office out there!

I love Kelly Reagan. She is friendly, encouraging, knowledgeable, and an excellent healthcare provider. I can call or message her with any questions and she's always helpful and supportive. She works hard for her patients and it's just a joy to go see her.

I really liked the staff and the doctors here. Dr. Esfandiari was very personable and was happy to answer all my questions. It was refreshing considering the bad experience I had at another fertility clinic. AA OBGYN redeemed my faith in good doctor's and friendly staff. Even as busy as they are at this clinic they do not rush you out or make you feel that you are wasting their time. They also didn't push any treatments on me that weren't necessary. I felt that they really cared about my concerns and my health. Great place, highly recommend this clinic. They even have complimentary valet parking which is nice.

I've been going to Dr. Garcia for 3 years now. I have never felt a connection with any of my past doctors, until I met Dr. Garcia. She is unbelievably easy to talk too, so kind and compassionate, and eager to answer all your questions. She delivered our first son in 2017 and we're 17 weeks along with our second. Given these uncertain times we are a experiencing in 2020, Dr. Garcia has made all my doubts about labor/delivery in the hospital put at ease. Love coming to this clinic and will always travel the 35-40 minutes I need to because all the staff, including Dr. Garcia's team, are super friendly.

This was my first visit here and this place was like a well oiled machine. I saw Casey Friesenhahn and she was great.....super bedside manner, kind and caring. I would definitely recommend her and this practice!

Dr. Capet and her staff are wonderful! I haven t been able to find a doctor I was comfortable with until now. She took her time explaining everything and is very knowledgeable. I m glad to have found her!

My regular OBGYN is wonderful that's about it. She is the reason I tried to keep going back to this HORRIBLE women's clinic section of Austin Area Hospital.
I was pregnant and had horrible experience not getting help one I was already at triage the lack of service declined from there. I had been to another hospital for my appendix issues and such while being pregnant that took care of me, but once I got to this place to help with the pain they left me there for 10 hours with no help. Then the triage worker there I doubt this person was a real nurse., but her name was Alisha, asked if I was raped before, and what did I do to condone rape, and if I was ever a prostitute?! I left the hospital, without help and had to walk back to my car in the rain, and get another hospital to help me, and they DID!
I tried to complain about my experience to the director, but got NO call back. There is just no words to describe how this was so horrible the service was, and the way I was treated. With zero respect!
I also had to go back in bc another doctor saw I was throwing up for 3 day straight and then 10 hr the next following days and said I needed emergency nutrition for my pregnancy. I went in. I was checked into triage right away (again), but within 10 hours later they still didn't even give me just potassium, and I had to take out my own IV after another 8-10 hours of being there!
This place is nasty too. It smell like a wet dog in the sheets, and the windows are so dirty. I just felt gross being in there. Just gross~!
I went back to the ordering doctor, and he said that they have it written down they helped me with nutrition and they didn't even come and talk to me after being in there that long what the hell was wrong, but they had no problem billing my insurance.
From day one my first appointment of this place I had 2 insurances, and they only listed one. Now I owe money for the first day I was seen, even though I had insurances now my insurance company goes back that far to cover if they never entered it, and now I'm stuck with the bill on that one. I dont know ANYTHING good about the womens section of this hospital that is acceptable, accept when I go in for my regular visits my OBGYN is very nice, but I dont think I will ever have a baby in this place its nasty, and everyone else is extremely fake and rude, then I get left with a bill when i have 2 insurances, and this happened the last time I tried to come here pregnant about a year and a half ago.
Good luck and congratulations to all the mommies out there, but you deserve better than this place to have a baby at, but you can take a chance to see if you have a better experience. I hope by writing this to make this hospital a better place for moms to be that are sick or need help, because if it stays the same I worry about the other people getting help here.
If I were to go back in time I would give myself the advice to RUN from this place, and just go away from there as far as possible, save your health, pride, and heartache and get REAL help by another hospital, because it's not a pleasant experience in the actual er part of pregnancy section especially. The regular hospital seemed fine however that checks you in before they put you in triage.

I am at your facility. I been a pt there since my pregnancy, and the triage is the complaint with me. Alisha does work there, and she was sitting next to another lady at the desk named COURTNEY as well. I can't make this stuff up if I wanted to. This is my PT number maybe that will provide you with help, "8644" given to me by Tiffany Nicholson. My OBGYN ONLY works at your hospital I ask. I DID contact the director, and made my complaints, and servery, and I told the nurse at the appointment, and my doctor, and I STILL have not gotten a call back, or apology. I think the triage needs to be cleaned well, and the staff needs to be trained better. Just saying.

I've been a patient of theirs for almost 18 years. The people, the grace, the compassion and expertise in what they do...Unequaled in my mind.

Love love Akin and his staff best place! He delivered my baby girl a bout a year and four months ago, Had a the best experience. I live in south Austin and I choose to make the drive to see Dr. Akin and his staff thank u again for the good care u give me.

Dr. Wang is the BEST! Always extremely positive and upbeat. The whole Team is AMAZING! Going to an OB appointment is not always a visit I look forward to but when your surrounded by a Team that goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, it makes for a much more pleasant experience.

I have been going to Dr. Seeker for many years. He is the best doctor I have ever seen. His practice is extremely pro-active/pre-emptive in making sure you are as healthy as possible.

Amy is so great! We cover everything that needs to be covered in a short time frame without feeling rushed. And, though she sees hundreds of patients, she knows you as though she saw you more than once a year! I m totally comfortable with Amy!

Dr. Anderson is the best! She is so friendly and laid back. She makes the whole experience comforting (especially for first time parents). My husband and I lucked out as she was the first doctor we visited when we learned we were pregnant and cannot imagine going thru this process with anyone else!!

I had been a long time (over 20 years and 3 babies!) patient of Dr Uribe and/or his PA, but one year having trouble scheduling the time needed - from Lakeway to north 35, I stayed in my area for my uneventful yearly. I was so completely disappointed in the lack of care, communication and concern that I received from the other office. The difference was unbelievable. This year I am back to AAOG never to leave again!

AAOGYN is amazing from the front desk to the nurses and docs! Very well oiled machine. Dr. Landherr has been amazing with my daughter and her medical issues. I value and appreciate her in every way. I highly recommend this office and Dr. Landherr (Dr. Phillips as well) ! Update: Dr. Landherr is now treating my second daughter and again I am so grateful for her. We have been with Dr. Landherr and this group for over 5 years and the high quality of care from front desk, nurses and doctors never changes.

I really like Dr. Carpet and Jessica (NP). Although she's busy, she takes the time to listen and explain your care.

Nurse Practitioner Giangrosso eased any anxiety I had an was very personable. The appointment was quick and painless. Recommended.

I had a very good experience seeing Jaki, she is kind, informative and made me feel very at ease.

Dr. Anderson is the absolute best MD I ve been with. I come once a year for my annual and she remembers random details from the year prior. The office staff is amazing and compassionate. I absolutely love the speediness of the lab! I receive results on the online portal in about 1-2 days. I can t say enough goodness about this office. Yearly exams are always a bit awkward but Dr. Anderson and her team makes it painless. Keep up the good work! You have a patient and advocate for life.

Mrs. King is very informative as to procedures she needs to do so one is always aware and she has a positive attitude and knowledgable in her field. Always a pleasure !

Dr Uribe is a rare breed - he is technically a leader in his field but also takes time and truly listens. The kindness and patience he shows comes from a real place of caring. I trust him and highly recommend him and his staff.

Dr. Phillips & his staff has always made me feel taken care of no matter if I was overwhelmed with sadness, grief or extactic with happiness.
No matter my situation they give me the care I need not only physically, but mentally as well. They make me feel like part of the family. They have treated both my husband and I great through all of our experiences. Couldn't ask for a better medical team to take care of me!

I saw Ms. Lockwood last year and again this year and she has such a wonderful bedside manner! It makes it much less stressful to have my annual visit than it normally would. I had quite a few questions last year, which she addressed so thoroughly and in such a kind manner, that this year I didn't have any questions and have been doing well since seeing her last year!

Hands down the best in Austin! Jackie always goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable!

As always Nurse Kelly was so wonderful. You can always tell she really cares about you and she explains everything. Everyone inside the office always makes you feel welcomed.

Very nice clean office and amazing Doctors. However, be prepared to wait! 30mins- 1 hour wait no matter what time I schedule, its always busy but worth it.

They let me wait 45 minutes before telling me my doctor was running 2 hours behind and couldn t see me. It would ve been nice to know before I left work early and drove across the city. Such a waste of time.

The office staff was very friendly and quick. Was glad there wasn t too long of a wait prior to getting into seeing Dr Cowan. Dr Cowan himself and his nurse were both very friendly and caring. The online portal made it easy to do the personal information prior to appointment. Highly recommendable

Dr.Phillips is a great doctor. Nurses are nice and friendly. Waiting time is not bad considering I schedule my appointments in the middle of the day. Overall, I am very satisfied with this clinic.

I have been seeing Dr. Uribe since I was 18 years old (which is 20 years now this year) & his staff ESPECIALLY Amy Grove (Amy King now) are AMAZING. I would literally trust Amy with my life. She is so easy to talk to, remembers small details about my life even tho I only see her once a year, is always friendly, informative and accommodating. I have an irrational fear of doctors but always feel relatively at ease here. I will be heart broken if I ever have to leave Austin and find another obgyn

Dr Tassone is wonderful. I am a very anxious patient and he is always so compassionate and patient with me. He also takes the time to explain everything to me and ease my nerves. I am so glad to have found him!

Dr Diana Wang is simply amazing. Makes you feel comfortable and answers all your queries with patience. And yes, her smile is cute and infectious! Will definitely recommend her. :)

I have only had great experiences here. Kelly Reagan is fantastic (personable, kind, efficient). Jackie Lockwood is also amazing (very knowledgeable, sweet and encouraging). I feel like I'm given the information and allowed to make my own treatment choices. The staff works hard to make themselves available for last-minute critical appointments, and they're always so compassionate.

The staff was so friendly and Dr Akin was very amiable and thorough. I had a wonderful experience!
