We have searched for a church home for many years. We found that home in Athey Creek. He has very real Ministry that shoots from the hip and is not afraid to make you feel uncomfortable in your sin. Which you should. Sin should never be a suit that you wear comfortably. The pastor continuously hits you with Bible truth and God's love. We will continue to go here and hopefully when our children are grown so will they.
Enjoy going to this church... Pastor does a good job of going through the Bible. Reading the bible chapter by chapter helps realize how much you can miss when the teaching is topics/series based. Plenty of things for kids to do also
Worst place to send your child on a church trip. Don't do it, unless you want your child to suffer at the hands of these completely uncaring and neglectful church adults. I cried after hearing about my son's beach trip he just returned from yesterday.
Friendly and welcoming staff and members. Good parking lot with staff directions to close spaces. Good coffee and tea provided. Bible based sermon and good delivery by pastor Brett. Great music with powerful songs by live band.
Every Sunday I m excited to come here to worship the Lord and hear the word. If you re a new believer in the area, I would definitely recommend this church to continue learning what it truly means to be a Christian.
Fantastic through the Bible teaching, casual environment, and authentic people wanting to learn and grow to be more like Christ. Pastor Brett teaches each topic as it comes up in the Bible, not pushing anyone's agenda except the Lord's!

Amazing Church. If you want to hear the Truth & Entire Bible this is that church. Also this is the Church that allows the Holy Spirit to work and open the heart of all who want to listen.

Pastor Brett speaks the word from the bible. Not to please man but to please God. He doesn't alter God's words to fit the world's view and I respect him greatly for that.

The grounds are very nice and the facilities were pleasant. We were there for a funeral and the staff was very nice.
Jesus focused. Pastor Brett is a down to earth, challenging Biblical expositor. Worship has Spirit filled enthusiasm. Services are packed.

To be honest, my husband and I were initially a bit concerned about the size of Athey Creek. But after attending the first service about a year ago, we quickly understood why so many people flock to this church! The congregation is down-to-earth and real and full of a beautiful mix of ages, socioeconomic classes, nationalities and backgrounds. Most importantly, the teachings are rock-solid. Pastor Brett keeps your nose in the bible the whole time as he masterfully weaves together the different books and roots them firmly to the ground with historical evidence. His delivery of the material is both unabashed and nonjudgmental - a rare combination in the modern Christian church.
Love the environment and all their hard work!! Their online services are fantastic! I ve been attending for 1-2yrs and finally accepted Jesus like I should have long before. I never thought I would find my path and it d feel this good. I am so grateful I never gave up searching for a church thank goodness I was introduced to Athey Creek. They hold gatherings for baptism and I attended way back in Feb 2019 at the river and the whole experience was mind blowing! I can t even describe it. Grateful I made the decision back then to get baptized surrounded by all that support.
I have never seen or heard of a church so up to date with their app and uploading past services and teachings. The staff are ALWAYS so kind and considerate. I never knew how much I needed service that goes chapter by chapter verse by verse! With all the technology and in-person options it really does make growing in my faith walk so accessible! Our Pastor, Brett Meador, goes chapter by chapter through the Bible and I am learning so much about the Word of God. He has a way of delivering the Word and making it so interesting and relevant. I'm so happy I found this church!
I and 100's of other Athey Creek Fellowship bond holders are not receiving any payments on our bond investment under contract with Athey Creek Fellowship. Many of us are retired senior citizens who worked hard for the money we invested in Athey Creek Fellowship. We expect a Christian Church to be honest enough to meet their obligation to us bond holders.

Have attended since 2nd grade when the church was just a leased warehouse in Wilsonville! It s been amazing to see the church grow, and I m so happy to be able to say that the teachings are just like they ve always been; great! Through the Bible teaching all-the-way!
A through-the-Bible approach to learning brings me back every Sunday. It s hard to find a strictly Bible teaching church in the Portland-area right now - so many are swept up in thematic teaching, which often misses the beauty of the connection between the Old and New Testament.

On my visit here i heard the pastor speaking about how knowing wisdom is not always the same thing as doing wise thing... the way the passage was and the keen understanding of the word and of people made me feel like home. And the TRUTH is spoke here at this church! And it felt so liberating

Great church family. Come as you are atmosphere. Cozy, welcoming, sincere. I went to the Sunday night worship gathering and it was a soul soothing experience. Heartfelt, exquisite music to lift up to the Lord.

This is a through the bible church. In all my years of attending I have found one thing to hold true, the church as a whole seeks the Lord & spends time reading & putting in work going through the bible verse by verse. The staff is delightful, helpful, & most have become friends. There are two campus locations. One in West Linn, the second at Corbin University in Salem with a third coming in the near future (Lord willing) in Tualatin. There is child care, & an all around great youth ministry for the kids. I hope to see you soon.
Athey Creek Christian Fellowship is the best. The music is great (God centered), the teaching is excellent in that Pastor Brett teaches through the Bible, book by book, chapter by chapter, and verse by verse. This gives us the FULL counsel of the Word. No topic is skipped over and some in depth teaching, giving meanings of words, exploring the cultures and customs of the time. He always shows the connection of the OT to the NT and visa versa. The Word is applied and many are coming to the Lord through the teaching and explanation of what it means to be a Christian. Pastor Brett has led several groups to Israel and often explains how things looked at the various places. The people are very friendly and the youth and children's ministries are always planting the seeds of God's Word.
Great bible teaching with in depth explanation of the word. Bring a notepad this is not for the psuedo Christian, Brett is the real deal and he speaks with a very humble heart.

I was beginning to watch their prophecy update. When they took scripture out of context, I was going to comment, but comments are disabled, implying they are above dispute. No scripture is of private interpretation. Everyone quotes Matt. 24:36 as a rule not to set dates, ignoring verse 35 which says no one will know the time of the new heavens and earth. These are ignorant of Yah s appointed times and are asleep, do not listen to their canned and regurgitated theology!

I ve never found a church quite like this one. It is amazing! There s something really special that happens when a pastor commits to going verse by verse through the Bible. Pastor Brett knows layers upon layers of the Bible, you can tell he truly loves the word, studies it often, and works hard to teach each sermon. No one has ever unlocked the scriptures for me like pastor Brett. He relies on the Holy Spirit to guide him and it shows. Rarely do I not witness someone getting saved at a service and it s just evidence of this church being very alive.
Although it s a massive church they do a great job of trying their best to make it still feel small and family like (bbqs, bible studies, home groups...). I can tell people s lives are being transformed because I ve witnessed the growth and goodness that families have gone through since attending Athey. My own family has changed dramatically from going here and this is after being raised all my life in churches. We have often considered moving but we always come back to the fact that it would be extremely difficult to find a church that we love as much as Athey. It s the best part of our week.

Been attending and serving here since 2009. Great quality Protestant megachurch style worship, and outstanding through-the-Bible study. Excellent ministries and groups for men, women and children. Friendly, upbeat and energetic atmosphere. Many opportunities to meet and chat with church leaders. If you can't find one, 9 out of 10 people here are fully capable of listening, praying and sharing scripture with you. This church cultivates spiritual leaders like none other.

Absolutely a wonderful man of God, teaching us the Bible chapter by chapter, verse by verse, in a way we can truly imagine and understand. Pastor Brett and his beautiful wife have hosted many trips to the Holy Lands and then stay on to video the areas that are off of the beaten path so can we learn from the word and them also by seeing the actual location of the places of conflict or the places Kingdom's carried out their lives. I would give Pastor Brett and crew am A+ for their hard work and concern for bringing our children up in a massively fun yet learning environment. We are a big body of believers and we love our church and church family.
