Excellent experience, show of my liking, efficient order service, to revisit!
One of the best theaters in Rome, located off the coast of Torre Argentina. Very well connected, parking not available nearby. Large audience and several orders of boxes. In programming all works of great value, recommended.
Very interesting programming. Historical and magical place. Friendly and efficient staff. Well-kept places and services.
A beautiful theater, we go more often to the theater, we help theaters and theater companies not to die. Unique experience and not as standard as other shows.
Very nice structure, it is always a pleasure to come back.
A theater of breathtaking beauty knows how to visit
When you're in it, you really feel like you're in a real theater. It is really beautiful. The programming is extremely valuable, the best in Rome.
Great adaptation of Six characters looking for an author. Worth
It is an eighteenth century theater with a lot of history, good programming and a pretty good audience space. There is no bar or restaurant for quick snacks, a coffee or a toast with sparkling wine and / or wine.
It is an ancient theater located in the historic center of Rome. You will experience an atmosphere of other times with beautiful boxes all set around the semicircle of the theater, red velvet and golden stucco. The theater ceiling has a very beautiful painting. High-level shows are represented. Very difficult parking and garage for at least 10 minutes on foot.
Just wonderful.
It seems to be in the 1800s.
It has a good view and acoustics.
It is worthwhile just to sit in the lodges.
The Teatro di Roma, so called because it is one of the first. For the story I refer, as usual to the specialized guides. I followed a guided tour of the Rome Touring Club volunteers and it was very interesting. During the visit, there was talk of the museum, closed in that period, where there are the costumes of the scene, some of which designed by Duilio Cambellotti.
Roman historical theater. Seen performances of rome europa festival
Excellent programming in a beautiful classic location.
A fundamental theater for the city, which could be even more dynamic
A wonderful theater @ It was the first time I entered it
Magnificent theater, not sufficiently welcoming staff
One of my favorite theaters in Rome, I often come here to see shows and never disappoint.
The magic of a theater that takes you for a walk through time, evoking suggestive sensations.
Magnificent and historic theater in Rome. With a program always up to expectations. The only flaw the box office, rather useless, never answers the phone. And to think that usually three people work.
The Argentina theater is like a dear friend always available and present to give you a nice evening. When I enter I always feel in the history of the theater and of our city. In the last visit of April, an extraordinary replica of the mayor of the Mario Martone health district, an intense show both in the ability to read the text and in the choice of actors. And lastly .... touched the fight between two spectators ... maybe excited ..
Nice and comfortable. Perfect vision from anywhere.
Beautiful theater but you don't even need to say it! Beautiful show (The Great Magic with an exceptional Nando Paone)
Try it to believe it fabulous acoustics and redtairo
historic and beautiful theater in Rome. Very good programming
One of the oldest in Rome ever to host trade shows and symphony senior
The Argentina theater always provides exciting experiences in an exceptionally beautiful environment, whether you are in the audience or on stage
Beautiful theater, large and clean. The acoustics are also very good.
Great theater, well organized and perfect acoustics.
An enemy of the people of Populizio. Worthy of the most beautiful theater in Rome
First of all it is a beautiful theater, and then there was a good show
Wonderful. A theater, even if small, but very respectable. I was there a long time ago to see Filumena Marturano and I was ecstatic. Today for a school play for ScuolaInCanto I finally saw and listened to Turandot and I must say that I remembered the theater in the same way: magnificent. I'm very satisfied.
a week of work for an exhibition and three reruns. I finally had the opportunity to learn more about the theater of the city where I was born and raised. very kind ushers, very trained and helpful technical staff. always clean dressing rooms. there are also showers with hot water. everything went fine.
Magnificent, historic Roman theater. Excellent programming theatrical season.
Argentina is the THEATER of Rome ...
It should be kept like a jewel ... instead there is the plaster that comes down from the walls. A hole under the barge impossible to miss ... and who knows how many others ...
Nice theater, collected and very well managed. Beautiful show, "boys of life" by Pasolini.
Located in the center of Rome, easily accessible, it reflects the idea of classical theater and has good acoustics. The space dedicated to the musical education of the youngest is valuable (some Associations develop projects here for the knowledge of opera).
One of the most beautiful theaters in Rome. Quality shows. I advise.
Lately I went to see, within the "Europe Theater Prize" a show of Estonia "No 43 - Filth with the sublime direction of Ene-Liis Semper and Tit Ojasoo Theater NO99. (13.12 2017). It's always nice for me to return to the Argentina theater!
I phoned from 10 to 19 at the box office and they didn't answer me. I HAVE SENT A MESSAGE, AND THEY DIDN'T REPLY ME. But the theater director who does? is he also a fugitive?
A jewel of the baroque good acoustics excellent vision even from the boxes, normally has a good billboard
In Rome, the top for proposals and installations. It would be better to invest on the box office.
One of the best theaters in Rome for the other quality of the proposed plays. Moreover, with the subscription policy (libertina card) it is possible to attend performances at reasonable prices, as I said, of the highest level at the Argentina theater, at the India theater and at the torlonia theater (all linked to this card). Theaters of great scenographic effect also for their respective locations. I have been attending them every year for some 10 years, sometimes with unforgettable performances
Theater of great history in Rome with an authoritative and very exclusive public.
Magnificent theater from 1700, in the center of Rome. Good view in the stalls. Comfortable armchairs. Good program. Excellent organization in the theater. Easily accessible also by public transport.
Wonderful theater, reminiscent of the magic of the opera house!
It is "my" theater of the heart. I think there are few just as beautiful in the world. But ticketing services must definitely be improved. It is useless for you to try calling the numbers listed on the site. There is no way someone can answer. And online communications (chat or mail) are not provided. For those who do not live in the center of Rome it is a problem to manage season tickets and / or change tickets from home. In 2019, almost 2020, it is not conceivable.
Nice theater, quality shows but if you need a contact, they don't answer the phone at all ...
One of the best theaters in the world for what it represents and for what it is. The typical Italian building is the synthesis of the whole past. Majestic, imposing, dominated by the red color, stands this colossus in which the greatest contemporary artists perform. It needs no introduction.
Pleasant experience and friendly show at the theater
Place of itself suggestive, avoid the central pigeon house
Do 3 stars only for the uncomfortable chairs, for the rest everything is fantastic
I paid 2 stage II seats in the center but seats 3-4 35 as the seats 1-2 rodotta visibility ... I did not appreciate
Public historical theater, it would need funding to be renovated and to be able to put more attractive installations in the pipeline. Experimental season often not suited to the tastes of the public. Often questionable choices. May this theater return to the great productions of the past!
