Saw Chicargo..excellent show..so much talent.. Venue user friendly... Lots to eat and drink...

Other than yucky undercooked doughnut I absolutely LOVED it

Watched Michael Jackson perfect place for a show like that. Could see everything from where we were and seats are very comfortable.

It was bad we were 5 min late and we had to sit outside through the entire production we could only go in after interval.

Great theatre bringing world class shows to Cape Town.

My favourite part is that they take half time orders before the show, and have your drinks ready for you by name as the half time starts. Great service!!

Enjoyed the Theatre. Just hate standing up in My row to let the other patrons pass to get to their seats.

It's well maintained and showcases such a huge variety of plays. I saw Not just another Cinderella story on Saturday. It was outstanding, coming from a group of untrained young people from a church in Hanover Park. Standing ovation to the cast !

Went to watch a lovely ballet: Spring Rhapsody. This was enjoyed by my whole family and friends. The Archbishop Desmond Tutu art exhibition was an added bonus to see.
We parked at the underground parking off Jan Smits street. Very convenient.

If you seat in the middle row,be prepared to allow others to pass through. Some people are grumpy and rude when asked to stand.

Once I look past the ugly brutalist architecture and find myself inside Artscape I usually enjoy the experience - live music, plays and restaurant- but it is not a good venue for Design Indaba. It was difficult to know where the exhibitors were and the conference area looked dreary. Worst of all so much was squashed into the external area it became difficult to walk around. But definitely go and check out a play or listen to a concert!

It was OK security staff unfriendly. General restaurant for actors was disgusting tye food was disgusting. Bad quality. Service was sloppy. Sullen service. I had to perform there. Dressing rooms were grubby. Toilets were smelly

Always love coming to Artscape. This time to see Evita. Fantastic!

Artscape is a large theatre that caters for a variety of theatrical experiences and audience sizes. There is always something interesting going on. Plenty of international and local productions are performed here.

One of the best places in Cape Town to be at ,they always have nice shows playing and cherry on top ,they have some nice restaurants and bars.

It's been years since I've actually gone to a show here, but I loved the experience

Seats comfortable, kept clean and generally well staffed. Equipment all worked. Parking a problem.

The seats are very uncomfortable.

Amazing Rocky Horror Picture Show! Cast was incredible, audio and acoustics were perfectly managed and not too loud.

Fantastic ballet performance, I was with someone who needed a wheelchair and got prompt and friendly help getting to our seats.

CT City Ballet was lovely however Artscape needs to rethink how the interval snacks counter is operated. The current method doesn't work well. Same issue was a problem at the Baxter Theatre.

We have been to the Artscape several times and always had a great experience.
Have been lucky to see good shows. One thing that can improve is the sales of refreshments in the break. It's a bit chaotic, but every one gets their order in the end.

Good sound in the auditorium. Service at the bar abit slow.

It's looking fabulous since the renovations as I haven't been for a while!

A theatre with world class performances, situated in the Cape Town CBD with easy access from all major routes. Popular for its performances of Grade 12 literature works.

Love seeing shows at the artscape.....they need a little bit more bars.

Wonderfull theater. Downside are the neglect of building and paved areas on the outside. First impressions not so good from the outside other than that an excellent experience once inside.
