Suitable for a hot summer because it is served with air conditioning

Very welcoming place for almost all types of events

By now a fixed place for concerts for years. We went there for the James Blunt concert. Everything very neat and arranged. The only sore point is the acoustics, not being born as a concert venue, but rather a sacred temple of sport (first of all basketball), we can be satisfied!

I went there often for concerts, the place is very big but from any point the view was perfect

Good acoustics for concerts, accessible parking area 2 steps away with nearby metro stations. Infrastructure in good overall.

Unfortunately it is dirty. There is no place to shelter from either the sun or the rain. There is no bucket to throw out the garbage.

Beautiful experience, clean and organized ... the only advice is that the numbering of the seats could be placed on the backrest and not on the seat

Zucchero's concert was beautiful and exciting. What was really disappointing is the bad acoustics of Palalottomatica, born as a sports palace at the 1960 Olympics, therefore excellent for sporting events. Made of concrete and glass, not suitable for listening to a concert, where music is the essential element of the show.
Parking is very convenient.

Plenty of space, and enough parking spaces. Beautiful sports building. Excellent x see sports but bad audio not good for parking.

Honestly, Renato Zero's concert last night was terrifying. It must have been 40 degrees ... not ventilated at all. The air was unbreathable in the stands. Ashamed of what the ticket costs

Uncomfortable and acoustics is to be reviewed, the concerts would do them elsewhere.

I found it a bit disappointing for a room that pretends to be renovated. Very large, but certainly not newer than the 1960s in which it was built. You keep walking stairs, and the steps in the stands (even if you are 1.90) are enormous. Combine all this with an Italian organization (at 10 to 9 still outside the gate while the concert starts at 9) then you can imagine that I have been in a better hall.

For musical events it is comfortable but the quality of the audio leaves something to be desired

I attended the psalm concert on 12/16/18 at the Palazzo dello Sport. Outside of the concert that from my point of view was fantastic, the structure that hosted the event was, well managed by the staff, both in terms of security and controls that provide guidance. The Palalottomatica, once called simply Palasport, is a well-known receptive structure for sporting events and artistic exhibitions, especially music.
The architectural form is reminiscent of the Pantheon, and is located in the heart of the famous E42, an area known as Eur (it must have been the site of the Universal Exposition of Rome in 1942, which was not built due to the Second World War), located in the southern part of the Municipality From Rome.
Adjacent to the Palalottomatica are the gardens surrounding the Eur Lake, some of which are normally closed to the public where rare plants are found.
The acoustics of the Palalottomatica is not a strong point of the structure, but the concerts of pop and rock music held there, manage to remedy the problem with appropriately placed amplification equipment
Overall, this is one of the few structures that does not disappoint the viewer, even from a logistical point of view.

Acoustics to forget. Why do bands keep choosing this place for concerts?

I've been there twice: the first for a competition, the second for a basketball game at Virtus Roma. The second time I was able to appreciate the very large, circular place. Outside there is a bust of the legendary Nuvolari

Picking up prepaid tickets, easy chairs, plastic chairs ... The "Nervi" building repays the organization's shortcomings ... I saw Brignani on New Year's Eve ...

It is not the right place for concerts. Historically, the acoustics of the palaeur have always been bad, especially for rock \ metal concerts. For the rest it is logistically perfect. At the entrance of Rome and with ample parking. Easily accessible for those coming from outside by car. A little less for those who arrive in Rome by public transport.

Child seats break back it becomes difficult to follow a show that lasts more than an hour

I've only seen the musical concerts, I always recommend buying tickets in the parterre because on the stands the sound isn't great, it echoes.

Excellent well-maintained structure, excellent acoustics

I was on the occasion of Renato Zero's big concert, as usual, Security had the caps removed from the water bottles but I foresaw I had others in my pocket.
They held the umbrellas with the tip, perhaps ....... it would be appropriate to provide an umbrella stand with a padlock to be able to find them at the exit.
I was in the stands at Sector B1, and the rather sharp acoustics felt like being in my car listening to the original "Zero il Folle" CD.
Too bad for those two large displays on the sides of the stage, which were not used to take a close look at the Only Mad in the Universe !!
