All Around Cafe Review

When I moved out of the city I knew finding a local coffee shop that wasn't a Starbucks was going to be difficult. Then I found Around (totally worth the rhyme). They serve Dark Matter and Stumptown, make a mean pour-over and quality espresso. If that weren't enough they serve donuts from the award winning Gurnee Donuts. There is also some well curated retail items concerning coffee & tea. Only a short walk from the Arlington Metra. The seating is spartan yet cozy. Be prepared to stand during morning and afternoon commuting hours.

This place is very cute. The women who creates the menu and decorates put time and detail into everything. The coffee is amazing, dark matter, and the macarons are different every week and themed. They are the best ones ive had as well!!! Great place!! Support local coffee shops!

I had weight loss surgery and needed to use the washroom. This was the only place open so I stopped in. I explained to the individuals that I had weight loss surgery and asked if I could use their washroom. I was Told NO! when asked if there was another I could have gone to since it was a Sunday afternoon, I was told everything was closed and good luck. Very poor customer service

I found this cute coffee shop by chance, only to go in a see that they're more than just coffee. The atmosphere is great, modern, and clearly reaches out to the younger crowd. I absolutely loved their iced vanilla latte and the two ladies were extremely nice. I will most definitely be back!

Small coffee shop with well thought-out design. The menu is short, but manages the usual espresso drinks and a few Korean influenced lattes and teas. It's the vibe of Around that win me over.

This cafe is about an hour away from me and I still go when I have a craving! The tapioca pearls always taste fresh and I love how their drinks have just the right amount of sweetness. I really appreciate that they don't have a million (fake) flavors. Their menu is quite small, but the drinks they do make, they make them well! Favorites are green tea smoothie, cookies and cream shake and iced black milk tea (all with boba, of course!) The owner and the employees are always so nice, the cafe is decorated in a minimalistic and tasteful manner and it's clean! My most favorite bubble tea place!

Had a delicious hazelnut latte, and my friend got an Earl Grey tea latte, which we discovered was in fact a cafe latte but with Bergamot flavor. She reports that, though unexpected, it too was tasty.

Such a cute place! I've watched several businesses pass through this space over the years, and I'm glad to see Around Cafe doing so well. The atmosphere is clean and simple, making it a great place for casual reading. It's like a little slice of heaven. Stop on by!

My boyfriend and I went here for coffee and I accidentally dropped mine when we were leaving. They were very friendly and gave me another coffee for no extra charge! The people were awesome, the coffee was great and so was the apple fritter!

Good drinks & cute atmosphere, it's a good place to study or work. However at busy times the line/people waiting can be distracting as it's a small place

Excellent lattes ! Loooooove the lavender latte and little pastries. Cafe is kid friendly and well located (right by the library, playground, train, and shopping)

Was looked at like I'm stupid asking if the caffe mocha had dairy. I'm allergic and have had many experiences where the mocha was was vegan or nondairy. When he said it's 90% milk and I told him I'd get soy milk, he assured me there's no dairy. Lo and behold, I got a reaction.

Really nice place. They have really good coffee and and soothing music. It's a pretty small coffee shop so it is likely that you might not find yourself a seat.

I can't live without Around.
It reopened. But you can't sit inside until end of this year. Outside has only one small table and two chairs.

This location is the former Fiore. Completely different theme and level of customer service. The baristas are always smiling and delighted to whip up your choice. They serve a lot of coffee & tea variations. The best thing about this location is that it still serves Bubble Tea (Milk Tea). You get tired of driving to Coffee Haus or liquid fusion, let alone get a mucky dead feeling with the tight spaces and crap lighting. This place is completely renovated and the coffee is amazing. I personally have been here multiple times a day throughout the week. You have to try out their personal concoction 'Avocado Coffee', which is out of this world! Plenty of table space and benches to chill and all the Edison Bulb decor makes the place more lively. Next time you're in the area, come by this vibrant cafe and you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful little shop near the Arlington Race track. The interior aesthetic reminds me of some of the best coffee shops I've been to in Japan. They serve Stumptown and always have a highly skilled barista on bar. What more can you want?

Around cafe is the perfect place to sit and relax. It has a gorgeous interior and quite possibly the best coffee in the area! One big thing, however, is their new choice of music. Besides the fact that the music is played much too loud, the choice of pop music is quite distracting and off-putting. I don't know what caused the change in music choice, but the last few months the abrupt change in music choice is disappointing. I prefer the softer, quieter jazz and pop folk which fostered a working and socializing atmosphere.

I like the coffee and atmosphere here and would recommend!

I always love my trips to Around! My family and I like to go together and enjoy the boba drinks or seasonal specials. The atmosphere is welcoming and I ve always had great experiences with the staff. Around is a great addition to Arlington Heights and I would recommend everyone to stop by if you re in the neighborhood!

Staff can seem a little "over it" sometimes but the coffee is fine. It's pretty small so don't expect seating. I have had inconsistent experiences, including one time getting told there wasn't any food available (when the next customer got some when they asked?) and then being told they didn't do pour-over when I literally had already gotten it there once before.

This place is a gem. I normally an a snub about the suburbs when I come visit my in-laws because I couldn't find a decent coffee place. No more! I fell in love when I stopped by on Saturday morning of our long weekend here, I had to bring my husband back on Monday!! Fabulous coffee, gorgeous shop, kind baristas, and their mugs are swoon worthy! Such a treat; I'll be back next time we are around!

Great sumptown coffee. Nice soothing music playing, but very uncomfortable chairs if you are sitting doing work. All in all I will be okay though.

One of my favorite coffee places!! Very nice customer service and amazing selection of different varieties of coffee drinks! The place itself is very cute and location is great, right on the corner, and even that this shop is small, but it has so much light inside and wonderful settings for visitors, so you can just sit there with your tasty cup of coffee, read the book and enjoy the view.

So happy that AH has another coffee shop option. They serve Stumptown Coffee which is so good. They also serve a variety of lattes, nitro cold brew, smoothies, tea, etc. the vanilla latte is really good and beats out Starbucks in price and taste (and this is coming from an admitted Starbucks addict).

They also started to carry pastries from local bakeries. Lately they have been offering donuts/pound cake from Gurnee Donuts. The Ube donut is really good, purple sweet potato dough and coconut topping.

The people that work there are so incredibly sweet and kind. I have come in with my daughters and they always are sweet and talk to them. They even help with the door on our way out (due to the stroller).

So very happy for this place! Will be visiting very often!!

A tiny, but very stylish coffee shop. Decor is sleek and modern. Thr baristas are sweet. And the coffee is crafted deliciously. Be prepared to spend at least 6 bucks on a drink.

If you are a coffee lover, you can immediately tell quality of coffee as soon as you put one step into the store. The top of top. Small store but implacable taste of coffee they brew. I also got macaron. Perfect match with the coffee. Too bad I live in city otherwise, this would be my coffee place everyday. The staffs were nice and kind even during such busy time.

It was really good! If you like the bitter taste definitely try Espresso Lavander Latte And their sweet potato donuts delicious/oreo Nice comfortable place to have a nice talk with your friends or even a date! Will definitely be coming back soon!
