ALE offshore Review

Had a great meal here with family. The service was fast, even though there was eight of us. Pizza was amazing.

Open year round which is nice, decent although common food, but loud and of course messy atmosphere. Very casual.

This spot is located nearby the Oaks Bluffs ferry terminal. We were greeted as soon as we got inside with a welcoming smile. It looked like a huge cabin by the water, with lots of wooden boats hanging from the ceiling. Warm and cozy atmosphere, great spot to relax.

We got complimentary peanuts, and you can toss the peanut shells on the floor!

We were not very hungry, as we have been eating our way through Martha s Vineyard... We were just looking to get some beer and a snack. We got Parmesan Truffle Fries for snack, which was GREAT! We couldn t stop eating them!

For drink, we got flight of beer. It is not on the menu, but if you ask, they will provide them! The flight comes with four beers of your choice. We went with East Chop, Blueberry, Argus, and Stout. Each beer was really tasty, some unique, some fruity, but all great!

We had a really nice, relaxing time here with delicious snack and drinks. Exactly what we wanted before getting onto the ferry. The service was friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our time here. I am sure we will be back during our next trip top Martha s Vineyard!

Great beer, veggie burger was excellent and the detox salad is definitely worth it too! Also, the fact that you can eat peanuts and discard ithe shells on the floor is a unique experience! :D

Family pub great on a rainy Martha's Vineyard day. Comprehensive craft beer selection. Lobster roll or pulled pork are local favorites.

Excellent pizza and their own microbrew beers.. What more could you ask for? A bowl of peanuts? Fine. That too... and the game. If there is one, they'll have it on.

Great stop for lunch on the bike. They recommended the loaded potato pizza, very unique but I didn t love it. The rest of the food was great. Cool ambience, has a very historic feel though it s not very historic building.

Fun spot in Oak Bluffs. Brewed on-site, which was a nice change from other spots in the Cape and on Martha's Vineyard. Sit at the bar and you can watch the process through the glass. Bartenders are super friendly. Like what you try? They even sell growlers of their beer so you can take it home. Like me and don't like beer? They have a decent sangria you can order by pint glass!

Service was rude food was bla.
Both Hostess and waiter were very snarky and had attitude of entitlement and air of disliking tourists...Should have left them but had read other reviews and decided to give it a chance.. Bad decision, mussels were awful broth tasteds like dish water. Burger was supposed to be med came tartar! Chips were very greasy. Never again!!!

So both their blueberry beer and their stout were only so so, but if you COMBINE them, half and half - it's actually pretty good. I really liked the space here, but the beer was only ok, overall.

Not as dog friendly as they advertise. Came in on a slow Monday. Tables were open outside. The out-to-lunch girls at the hostess stand looked at me like I had 3 heads when I asked for a outside table because I had a dog. Let me tell you my labradoodle is better behaved than some of the screaming kids in the outdoor patio area. Have been a offshore ale customer since it opened and have never had an issue. Now I m going to have to rethink.

Great comfort food. We go there weekly. You can't go wrong ordering the fried chicken and mashed potatoes with veggies. Super tasty!

Worst lobster roll I've ever had. And I'm from New Jersey.

One of my favorite places in or off season. Last time we had a party of 9 and they easily accommodated us. Everyone loved their food and drinks. Can't wait to come back next year.

Good food, weird seating. If you arrive as a couple and there are booths available that could seat more than 2 people, you as a couple will wait. If you don't mind the wait, food is decent.

Best brewery on the island. Very good beers and food here. Peanuts. They do need more bar space for those that just want to hang and have beers.

Our "go-to" place in Oak Bluffs. Good food, good microbrews. Be careful of the peak dinner hour, there can be a wait.

The lobster roll is fantastic and they even offer a gluten free bun!

Service was really great. The food was fresh and delicous!! We had fish toco's, the chicken fajita pizza and a double pepperoni with onions with a sausage and onion pizza plus a burger with the fixing. Everything was just perfect.

About average. They brew their own, which is a plus. But their beers were fairly average. Good solid staple brewery.

Mmmm... blueberry beer was delicious!! First day I had a salad with grilled salmon which could use some herbs. Next day I had BBQ pulled pork pizza and was outstanding!. Great place, nice ambiance, food and that blueberry beer..

IMO best fish and chips on the island. Fresh fish, well cooked and perfect fries. The Drinks were great, waitstaff cared for the family well. Must visit.

I ve never had poorer service in my entire life. Went in planing on spending 100$+ spent 14$. You guys need to make your potential guests feel welcome business is sparse, people dying out here. Come on get it together!

Wow, very good foid, good service, good apps, good feeling there. ...ordered the new Poutine it was tasty, however I took a star off as it said Duck Confit, maybe they meant fried in duck fat, there was no duck, the cheese and gravy were excellent on just the right fries. Both our Entrees were excellent, wife had swordfish I had fried chicken and gravy. ...both outstanding and memorable.
Hats off to the staff, chef and owners.
Looking for that duck, would be 5 star.

Friendly service with a lot of gluten free options. The food was very good. The family loved the makes potato and bacon pizza. Great drinks.

We live in the Deep South. So we decided to take a vacation to Martha's Vineyard. Food Network said Offshore Ale Co. was on of the top places to eat. They did not disappointed. The food and Beer was top notch. Try the mashed potato pizza with bacon, green onions, chives and sour cream on the side. Very tasty.

Wait can be long during Summer, but this spot has great beer, food and atmosphere.

Had a great lunch on the patio. Had a 17 month old baby with us. The staff was very accommodating. Will go back!

Awful food and drinks. Someone in my party ordered fried shrimp and it was raw in the middle. Not to mention they messed up 2 orders.

The lobster roll gave me explosive diarrhea and I've been holding my wife's hair back all night. You have been warned!

Obviously not a place to go if you have a peanut allergy! The peanuts here are really good, with not too much salt and the freshness you get from leaving them in the shell. This is a great place to go for a beer and talk with friends or not-yet-friends. The people here are friendly, and the beer is good.
Their entrees as well as the bar food is top-notch, really nice and savory.

The mussels and the basil beer are a must try! Cool laid back place with such a sweet staff!

Usually with these smaller operations the beer always tastes like home brew to me. Not these guys. Had the IPA and the Double IPA and enjoyed both. Even bought some 4 packs they can on site to take home with me. Food was good too.

Adults rave about the dishes and house-brewed beer; kids like the house-brewed root beer and the invitation to toss their peanut shells on the floor.

The Service and Food was great. I highly recommend stopping here when you visit Martha's Vineyard. This was in the city of Oak Bluffs.

Great beer, great food, convenient location to stop by for a drink. You can't bring someone there if they have a peanut allergy because there are peanuts all over the place, but the beer and the atmosphere are great.

worth the 45 minute wait on a Tuesday night. Delicious beer as one would expect from a Brewery. Great, fresh seafood choices. Excellent clam chowder.

A bit noisy, peanut shells cover floor. Clean bathroom!! Salad was good. Great Pizza---- double garlic --- nice thin crust...

Very high price for what you get in my opinion but the food is good quality only reason im giving it 4 stars cool old school bar/pub atmosphere if your into that sort of thing.
