Ahoy Rotterdam Review

Large events hall only a pity that they have 1 entrance / exit

Still one of the worst event halls in the Netherlands... Getting there is a disaster, roads around it get completely blocked... Then the experience inside feels cheap, unorganized, toilets smell like crazy... Staff is very friendly!

2018. You can not pay at Ahoy, only with cash payment. Very well done

Had a very nice time. Great seats, but because we were high, the lights on the stage often shone in our faces! That was a pity. Top service for the rest! Drinking was quick despite the long lines.

Waylon concert. Sound was not very good, atmosphere all the better

Beautiful event location, where they know how to hold a good party. Was here because of Pussylounge XXL and what a nice party it was!

Unfortunately, the coin cash registers on the side were not open when we entered, making it very busy at the main cash register upon entering. No further comments, because it was really a great party!

So incredibly difficult to reach. Stuck in traffic for at least 30 minutes. Then I got to the parking lot that is full. Instead of indicating that earlier, you have to drive a long way back. WE NEVER GO MERRNAAR AHOY. NEVER.

Lots to do, lots of activities. Highly recommended.
Note the schedule, there are many different activities that vary per specific period.

I went to Ahoy with "AnimeCon"

Had a wonderful evening with Queen and Adam Lambert, unforgettable.
Only the bucket seats were much too small.

Been to Waylon, only 1 exit for the pitches, long lines at the toilets, further fine.

Parking cost more than the entrance ticket. The toilets are thin and so expensive that I didn't go. Very small lockers that do not yet fit a winter coat and of course very much for the price. The sound was literally deafeningly loud and the cheapest earplugs were a whopping 15 euros! I had a nice evening but all this spoiled the party joy.

I was a ball boy here at the ABN AMRO WTT 2019 and it was fantastic.

I was with the friends of Amstellive in Ahoy. The setup inside was super. You didn't get the feeling that so many people were inside. Everything neat and well arranged. The toilets were also clean

Always good. Good sight. Good sound. No ringing in your ears afterwards very nice. However, expensive drinks

Legroom is a disaster. You're pretty tight. You notice that the building is not really new anymore. Employees are very friendly.

Great show and the VIP package is well taken care of. Amstellive, highly recommended.

Few eateries. Partially closed. Do not make reservations for parking! Is much more expensive and almost never needed.

Business Boost with, among others, Armin van Buuren. Was great!

Not a nice location. Poorly lit, concrete colossus, dismal corridors. Downright bad wardrobe; you stand in line for half an hour in front of your jacket and bag where you have 2x2! had to pay the euro for.

Everything easily accessible, spacious parking spaces and sufficient.

Simply good, provided with everything. Many different options for meetings, events, excellent hospitality. Many parking options in that neighborhood.

Large convention center. A bit outdated in my opinion. Well accessible by public transport.

Thank you for not having to buy tokens to eat or drink and just pay with cash. The acoustics are also very good. There is an intimate atmosphere like this. Top

I've just gone to 'Blue Planet II Live'. It was amazing, the video was amazing an the quality was insane, just like the orchestra.

But the seats were terrible, I'm 1,75 and kept poking my neighbour in front of me with my knee, not because I'm an idiot, but because there was 0 space.

The woman who was presenting the whole thing was a complete idiot who clearly had no clue about what she was talking. It was not international friendly because she mostly was talking Dutch.

The show was about the ocean with also the message about the pollution we're causing and that we should fix it. They were mostly talking about all the plastic, which obviously is a huge issue.
The stupid thing was that all our drinks, were poured in plastic cups... Like we all agree with you, but you're really doing it wrong here yourself.. Just an idiotic detail but not something small.

The experience was amazing, but the delivering of this experience by Ahoy was terrible. Having such a big act on there doesn't mean you can slack off.

Nice place but during crowds it is often not well arranged

Who hasn't been there? Tennis tournament seen there. Great location. Excellent VIP treatment.

Event hall to give a party for a large group of people. Enough parking space, opportunity for public transport. Clean. There are plenty of shops or eateries across the street if you want to get away. Parking daily rate 13 eur

Did the coffee a bit moderate (small cups) and the toilets not very fresh.

13 euros for an hour of parking. Just too crazy for it!

Nice day with nice pimped cars and nice drift demonstrations

Well arranged, everything went well while it was sold out. Temperature and sound were good too, great party! (The 90's)

Most lovely festival i have been too! Great vibe, top artists and wonderful food!

Good accommodation. Parking, if you happen to be in front, you are quickly gone afterwards, otherwise it will take a long time.

Good concert, too bad that the Golden Circle had to go far away to smoke. Much better than last year !!!!

Good location for concert (s), fine acoustics, lights and lighting good. The layout of the complex is clear, clean and well-arranged. Pleasant temperature.
Seats should be a fraction further apart to create slightly more seating comfort.
Enough security and emergency response etc present during our visited concert.
Parking places sufficient. However, afterwards a disaster to return home decently. Unclear directional indication with regard to 'Exit / exit' to reach the public road. No traffic controllers to steer it in the right direction, unfortunately.

Nice building and nice place with good performances. A pity about the reverb but there is little that can be done about it. Cozy atmosphere and good security

Had been to Darts premier league, the atmosphere was great, a must for everyone. But the noise in the back of the hall (not at the stage) was very bad. (box AB) You could not understand much, I thought that was really a minus point. Had a great evening, friendly staff, good security, and clean toilets

We were well on time but the door remained closed despite the fact that my grandson needed to go to the toilet, but they were not allowed to go in to pee, they could not start. Event had started and the doors were not open yet, so it took too long for everyone to find his place and therefore a messy start to the cycling spectacle. 2 points that Ahoy can certainly improve on, so let's get started I would say.
