It's an arena. It's still the Rose Garden to me, I don't care how much Moda paid to have their name on the building. Just went to a Blazer game on 11/3 and it amazes me how much stuff costs at a game. They wanted $10 for a Coors, it's bad enough that it's Coors which is garbage beer but it's so expensive too. Food prices are through the roof as well, thank goodness I'm smart enough to eat before the game.

The facilities themselves are ok and the staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. I was kind of surprised there wasn't much in the way of alcohol monitors.

Giant place for a show. Which is good and bad, concerts should be spent not sitting in a seat but that's just me (to be ground level at the show it was pretty spendy.)
Spectacular area for some cool theatrical extras and whatnot. All in all pretty rad spot.

This is the only place in Portland that I would recommend going to see a Trail Blazer game in person. Wait, what's that you say? It's the ONLY place in Portland that one can see a Trail Blazer game in person? Huh. I suppose that it is.

Seriously, though, great NBA arena. Clean and professional. Impressive selection of food. Wonderful fans. Easy access to public transportation.

Always a great place for a concert, or sports event, or any event really. But I do advise eating before you go because the prices for food have skyrocketed since the last time I was there.

Watched Blazers Vs OKC gm 2 from a suite! Parking was a breeze with a private entrance. Food and drinks were very good. Wings. Marinated veggies. And nachos with the best melted cheese sauce I've tasted. Great atmosphere. A great place to catch a game. Blazers won and broke 100. Free Jamba!

Very knowledgeable people especially when it comes to finding your seat in the arena and getting around as well me and my son loved our first nba game there my rating is a S for Super Satisfying

My husband and I went to see Jeff Dunham "Passive Aggressive". Absolutely amazing... only issue we had was the popcorn place there. We paid and was waiting in line for freshly popped popcorn... they then brought out a HUGE blue bag of popcorn and dumped it in there and started to "dish it out"... but that wasn't even the worst offense... the worker didn't have on any gloves and he put his hands in the bags... all around the inside of the bags to open them up... without washing his hands, after handling money and didn't wash his hands. We asked for our money back and got attitude from the workers, a security guard came over to find out what was going on. We told her what happened, and made sure we got our money back. She was really upset about how we were treated. The rest was amazing!!!!

Terrible food! Super dangerous stairs. Like those stairs should be illegal. Dope seats from floor center. Fun if you have no chronic pain or injuries. Just be aware it's a pretty hazardous environment, even during an old school 70s band when the crowd is mostly older folks. I was legit worried about them - is there an elevator I missed or something? After the lights are out the stairs are even more dangerous as well as navigating to floor seats, and I'm currently in physical therapy after tripping over the fold out chairs on center floor. Not what I expected for $300 a ticket.

Very clean. Very well maintained. Really well monitored for the amount of people in it. A bit on the crazy expensive side for smaller event souvenirs, but somewhat expected to a certain point.

We were here in a suite for the philly/blazers game and it was a blast! The staff checked in with our room consistently throughout the night and the food options were endless on the main level!

Awesome indoor complex! The reason I give it a 4 is because EVERYTHING is so expensive! The tickets, the food, the Trailblazer gear. I understand it's the same at other large sports complexes, I just can't agree with why.

Concert was awesome but under age drinking was going on and they didn't even kick her and her mom out that was giving it to her. It was good up to that point. People complained but security didn't do anything that'd rectified that problem so they left because it ruined it for them.

This place is fantastic once you get inside. Parking is a little chaotic but there were a lot of anxious fans. The staff was helpful and the screens were angled so the game could be seen by all the sections. Great venue!

Parking was terribly managed for the graduation we attended. We arrived over an hour early and barely made it into the parking garage in time because of the poor traffic management. The venue itself seemed very nice, although the signage was very limited making finding our seats difficult.

We went to see a preseason Trailblazer game. Got a free ticket from the library reading program, but it was the top row. Wow, way up there. But the view was still quite good. Hot dog $6.50. soft drink $7.50. garlic fries $9. Not cheap...

Nice place to come with a family to watch a game or a Disney Show (Which happens a lot). Fun activities for kids outside of the main auditorium like drawing and puzzles. I would rate it higher if the food wasn't so pricey.

We had a great time at the Moda Center watching a Trailblazers game. The center was fairly clean (while only moderately outdated). The court was well lit so seats were not bad even though we were in the nosebleed section. Staff was friendly and prompt to resolve issues. (A small child vomited, and within 2 minutes three people were cleaning up!) Overall this was a great experience!

Like it better when it was a Rose Garden Arena. I can't keep track of all these damn name changes. I don't care, I refuse to call them the new things and slowly lose touch with reality, becoming more and more bitter about the city changing as I refuse to accept that all things are constantly in flux.

Go blazers!

Nice facility with lots of food choices. Easy to get in and out. Parking can be somewhat limited so consider taking the electric trolly called MAX, after a big event it can move a lot of people very quickly.

We just moved into Vancouver 45 days ago, Wife thought we should go to a concert at the Moda center. She picked JT. So I investigated low impact ways to get there. Used the Tri-met. Parked at the train station, took the Red all the way to the front door of the Moda Center, walked inside, watched the concert, walked back outside, jumped back on the Red and took it all away back to the parking lot where we left our vehicle. From the Moda Center to home was 35 minutes, and that included the wait for the Red. Impressed with the Moda Center, very well laid out, food vendors everywhere, we'll be back, I'm sure.

Get ready to spend about $60 on food/drinks for you and your date. Ticket prices are more reasonable than not, but still very high considering Portland's cost of living. This building will forever be the Rose Garden, not the "Moda Center" (once owned by the City, not by a corrupt Healthcare company).

The chair width is bad enough for those people of size, but the rows are so tightly packed in that if you are more than 5'5" tall you will have to find yourself in multiple ways to get in your seat.

Monster Jam was a great event. Monster trucks...10$ sodas...monster trucks.:) my 5yr old loved it & so did I. Bring hearing protection & take little ones out a couple times because of the exhaust (after about an hour we both had a headache...went away in 5min out in the hall)

Expect to spend $44 on two burgers, fries and drinks. Stupid expensive. Eat anywhere else then come to the event. The usher would not look at our tickets to help us figure out where we were sitting. Kept asking us where our seats where. Told her we didn't know how to read the weirdly printed e-ticket. Tried showing it to her. She refused to look at it. Wouldn't help us until we read off numbers we thought were the seat. Rude as all get out. I believe as an usher your job is to look at the ticket and help. Out seats were in direct sight of her. She wasn't the friendliest with other people too. Saw her being rude to another customer almost even argumentive. Trans-Siberian Orchestra was great though! Had a blast! Would go to see them again.

I've always loved experiencing the Moda Center whether it's concerts maybe even ball games or conventions of sorts although I wish there was more restaurants in the Moda Center that cater to lactose intolerant and gluten-free needs which come on Portland seriously a city that's practically all vegan why is the Moda Center not catering to our needs? And I think all of us should really start advocating how important it is for us to have options even at those late-night concerts when practically the entire Moda Center restaurants are closed and the only ones left open are Pizza stands and hot dog stands and it's really ridiculous. Mota center, you guys have to give us some more options here at this establishment other than the food choices at this place. The experience has always been awesome other than my one onbjection which is why I still rate it with 5 stars.

Great place, was able to attend a Blazer game with my basketball team there. Staff and TV crew are really friendly, made it possible for a lot of people to be on the halftime show. A little dirty after the game but overall a good experience. Can t wait to come back!
