I had to ask 5 times for my daughter to get her milk, she had already eaten 2 plates and was working on her 3rd by the time it was delivered (thankfully we brought a water bottle) after asking the 3rd time I watched the waitress bus multiple tables and then go and stock the plates at the salad bar. When we 1st walked in we passed the waitress chatting with a cuatomer about how she hates the job, & they ask too much of her. I understands being frustrated with you place of employment, but my 4yo shouldn't have to reap the repercussions.

I've been to Golden Corral in Florida and when comparing this one here in Rochester it's like comparing apples and oranges. The Rochester location leaves much to be desired. The food selection has dwindled. Service left much to be desired. Hire new staff and offer better selections. At nearly 20 bucks per person it is not too much to ask what i am recommending. Go to a chinese buffet. Save some money.

The mashed potatoes were watery and cold, the little burgers were cooked way too much and dried out, there was no ice cream available, the desert area was gross, the knife for the chocolate cake was coated with dried out cake, the rest of the desert bar was not kept clean, the curb and green beans were barely visible the container was full of water, the clam chowder was very low and dried soup was up to the top of the container, there's more but these were the worst.

Excellent food buffet all you can eat wide variety of food and desserts !

Price is OK, and there is a very large selection... But the food is just bad. All of it, just no good.

$10 Lunch! Great salads, all around good food, that is NOT fast fried! Plus deserts! I'd make it my lunch spot everyday but only one.location in the area so far. I hope they succeed so soon I will have more options in Rochester!

Oh I just threw up n caught it in my mouth. Cafeteria food at a premium price, 1 star. If they have those killer coupons, add a star otherwise eat ice cream for dinner.

there was no brisket like they advertised. some of the food was cold

Family friendly and staff was thoughtful and understanding with our large party. The supprt staff was extra helpful

Food was better than the 1st time I went there but not by much. They use loads of sodium in all the food. Also the food looked like c rations.

The food was excellent n the stake was like butter. Very pleased.

We got charged dinner prices at 11AM even though the website still reflects the "old" hours. Seriously! Who serves "dinner" at 11AM! I'll go pay $13 for garbage food somewhere else next time.

Some foods a bit salty, seemed like they couldn't keep up with the tables and wiping them off. We were here during the week and around 1pm, not too busy. Some foods seemed to be sitting a long time, and the popcorn shrimp were really dry. Some foods were great, others not so much. Hit and miss for sure.

Long wait 1 cashier but good food good waitress thank you. Returned again 2-16-20 and1 cashier line back to the door so I left went to red lobster it was delicious. I will try back again sometime hopefully more people working that are fast and not very slow handling customers.

Visiting from Florida and I have been to plenty of golden corals this place is by far the worst

The restaurant smells of poor hygen. Dirty bathroom.s and rugs. Employees look miserable.

Great variety, everything was clean just wish better descriptions on the selections for people with food allergies like me.

The stake is good ..few other items were good ..but most of whats on the line is just gross..over all its okay and i wouldnt go out of my way to return ...the waitress was very good five stars for her ..

Food was hot. Nice choices. HVAC condensation was dripping over my table.

Kinda expensive when u look or hear about the price tags but once you walk in, you know you are going to be happy. Great selection of food and taste amazing!!!! I love coming here

Veggies were overcooked... most food was too well cooked

After reading other reviews, was very nervous about visiting this place but my kids love the other ones in MI, NJ, PA,and OH so we traveled an hour out of our way to go here. So happy we did! Oustanding place for American Buffet food. All the staff we extremely nice. Food was very good indeed as was the variety on offer - could not find any meatloaf here this time which is usually exceptional however I made up for it with plenty of other offerings. This appears to be a newer location and is all one could ask for in a buffet. Keep up the great work!

I would have to say one of the best buffets around food was really fresh there's such a big variety to choose from

Very very ordinary!!! Seneca Casino blows then out of the water. Average at best on Saturday early evening.

Great food and service and tables and floors were very clean

The four of us ate like kings. We took all we can eat as persomal challenges.

Horrible Horrible if you go here go when they just open and food is fresh. I went on the 27th of January food was bad.

This Golden corral is relatively new to the area and my girlfriend and I decided to give it a go!! She thought it was great, I beg to differ!! No cheese cake for dessert thought I had blueberry pie and fruit!! It was not my best dinning experience!! I thought it was rather pricey for what was available!! Next time we are going to the Chinese restaurant, I love their buffet!! So I rate the Golden corral a three!!

The food was ok service was to. Our waitress was very nice.

The price, the food and the service was Good we drove all the way from buffalo to eat here. If one opens in buffalo I will be a loyal customer.

The location was packed and the AC not working well in the section we were seated in. The cashier could not find a manager to put our coupon in and the line was delayed for quite awhile. The food, especially fried foods, were very overdone. The steak was the biggest saving grace as the cook did a great job preparing them to order.

Only a handful of items are good there and definitely over priced.

Do yourself a favor do not come to this place food is bad I have been in different golden coral

They are very nice and very clean and helpful the food is the best filling they need to hurry up and open for dine in because always took my family and I am very Happy. with junk food chicken and pizza and the chicken soup and pasta and the steak thank u to all and plz open soon.

Many choices,roast beef was awesome. Bathrooms were messy with alot of toliet paper on floor. Will go back again.

Nice mix of food but looks like they got rid of thousand island dressing, my favorite.

Just some synonyms for this atrocious eatery would be putrid, sickening, gut wrenching. There is toilet paper all over the ground. when I asked an employee for some steak and he denied me. He said they were still "making it". I could clearly see it was done. The manager laughed me out the door when I asked for a refund

We have gone to Golden Corral on other locations and found them to be ok buffet restaurants. This location won't last long, mediocre at best.

Good if you come early and only early. Otherwise you're paying for trash.

Simon took me here and IT WAS SOOOO FILLING AND FOOD WAS GREAT

we love it a family of 9 and always have the kids bring a friend we usually come 15 deep to eat everyone's happy love it

Did is decent, but don't water your money unless you just love All Your Can Eat Buffets and the crowd!! It's too pricy for what you get!!

The ppl r nice, but the buffet was most empty. The dessert was closed. And the salad bar empty. Was a waste of money. And I was there at 8pm.

Hate buffets in general. Kids love it so I sucked it up and went. Selection was ok. Didn't remove plates frequently enough. Some places/trays had good spilled all over tray counter. VERY expensive unless you eat a ton!

Not so bad service...
The food was good, the service was helpful, and, courteous, I had a really good time, definitely, hitting back up there, whenever, I get a chance " GOOD TIMES !!!"

Is the worse place anyone can eat they reheat food they drop food in the floor n put it back up to the bar so people can eat i use to work there n the place in the back of the kitchen is super gross n nasty
