SURELY THE BEST ICE CREAM SHOP IN THE AREA!!!

I had already indulged in a fast food lunch today, but after several more stops of shopping etc., I just craved some home made ice cream before heading home.

Tada!!!! Just happened to pass by this place and ordered just 1 scoop of Black Cherry Ice Cream. Man, oh man, huge scoop (glad i did not order more!!!) and delicious as always.

Highly recommend this place in Englewood!!!

Best Ice Cream in Florida. Lots of variety, friendly staff

Our family has been visiting A Better Scoop for nearly the 10 years. Every time we visit, we get amazing ice cream and even better service! There is always a large selection of ice cream flavors, sugar free options, blended treats and mix-in options, toppings and even sorbets and whips now!

Fast and easy going customer service, ice cream is one for the books , most definitely will be coming back!

Two stars cause the ice cream and yogurt is really good and there's a large variety of flavors
No stars for portion size the scoop was so small, and for the money the size should fill the cup , I probably WONT go back again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone to go ,
The portions are way way too small , it's a rip off for the amount of money you pay for one scoop

This is the best ice-cream I have ever had in my life! The workers are super friendly and helpful. There is so many different flavors, any person who likes ice-cream would find something they like there. There is also vegan ice cream for vegan peeps.

This ice Cream Shop is Awesome, this is the only place around that knows how to make Coffee Ice Cream Sodas and there wonderful. "It's a New England Thing".

Very nice owner! She will go out of her way to welcome you as well as trying to meet your Ice Cream and You art needs. Makes homemade brownies (altho I didn't try they looked and smelled great) will try next time! Very comfortable glad I stopped for ice cream...only problem if I keep this up I'll be 500pds before long. A must stop 4 Engelwood Florida folks or visitors!

Yummy ice cream with so many flavors that final choice Will be difficult. Clean, bright shop with adequate tables. Also sell ice cream by pints/quarts.

Its always busy here but for good reason. So many delicious flavors and the staff are so friendly. The dole whips are delicious and very photogenic.

9,000 new cases of covid 19 in Florida yesterday and we walked in for ice cream to find all employees NOT WEARING MASKS and all customers standing around spewing their own personal droplets into the air. We turned around and walked out. Ice cream shops are plentiful around here and some of them care about the safety of the community--we will spend our money there.
