First of all, the dental assisting program at CADH...
First of all, the dental assisting program at CADH has only one teacher. Thank you Miss Ana for being a great teacher! Given that the overall system of how things work there, I would give this school an overall low mark of 1 star. Only because of Miss Ana being a great teacher am I pushing this up to 3 stars. I wish that there was a way to know all the downsides or problems in this school before signing up but that's rarely the case in joining any school or job. But here are are two examples: Not enough dental chairs available for practice. Limited instruments and tools for practice. Overall, DA was always given a lower priority versus the dental hygiene program at CADH. To be honest, I can't compare CADH's DA program to other schools. I have to admit, me and my friends got jobs as DAs when graduating. However, I'm guessing the same is true for those finishing at other schools because there are many DA jobs available. So, I can't say there's anything special at this school. Bottom line: No matter where you go for a DA program, you'll likely end up finding a lot of negatives. All that matters is studying hard to get through it and get that first job.
