Visited Waddesdon Manor today (2nd time after aborting the 1st due to the ridiculously long walk to the house if you have a dog). Walked around the grounds and Christmas fair. The grounds were ok, and the fair was just like every other Christmas fair with the same goods (circa 6 stalls selling gins) as very other Christmas fair in the country.

As a National Trust member I find it disappointing that the cost if the food does not equate to the quality expected.

Lastly, I did not go into the house, for 2 reasons, firstly they were booked up to 4pm and I arrived at 11am and secondly the additional charge for entrance.

I left feeling disappointed in what I'd experienced and the National Trust.

IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS COMMENTS

I shall not be returning. I don't feel that the experience was good value for money. Equally, suggesting I return after receiving such poor standards clearly shows a lack of customer service or understanding. What you really want me to do is spend more money at a venue that doesn't care about the patron.

I will not be renewing my national trust membership at the beginning of next year.
