The beef eaters give a wonderful tour. Very family friendly informational and comical. Highly recommend you start your visit with them right inside the gate (free tour). Once the tour wraps up you're right next to the queue for the crown jewels. The line may seem long but it moves quite quickly. The jewels are.... shiny. Not really my cup of tea, but the rest of my party loved it. You'll get to see guards (the ones with the hats) doing their thing and marching around. They did this thing where five of them were in formation, their captain?? Came out and inspected them, then they marched though the city as people made way for them, like the parting of the red sea, until they were met by a beefeater near the entrance. Very cool to watch. This place is a London must do.
