We were a customer of Folksam for 1 year (home insurance / car insurance). They were going to withdraw money from our account every month via direct debit, but nothing happened and we got strange and wrong reminders - repeatedly. Each time we sent an email to customer service but they were incredibly bad and fixed nothing, they said they had fixed it, but 2 weeks later the same problem. After 5 (!) Months and over 20 emails I got really angry and said that NOW they really have to fix it. At first, I received an answer from another customer service person who had checked and finally said that we were right and they were wrong. We got 2 bio tickets as compensation and got to pay for 5 months at a time (just what we didn't want, but whatever). After one year no damage, no accident or the like. they raise car insurance with 2000 (!) kr! I send an email and ask why they do that: No answer for 4 weeks. Ask again: No answer! Calling them and terminating the insurance, and having an incredibly unpleasant customer service person (woman) in the handset, saying: "There is always a reason when we raise the price!" And, "Yes, you can see if the new insurance doesn't even raise after a year!" ... I answer that it's not her problem. Then she starts talking very fast (like a telemarketer) and I say "Stop! What are you doing now?" She says she "only has a couple of questions so they are safe not to have missed something" (Do you have pets? Do you only have one car or other vehicles? Do you live only in the house? "I answer that I do not understand why she asks it Here she says that she would like me to talk to one of Folksam's "advisors". I answer that I have just canceled my two insurance policies and are not at all happy with Folksam and certainly not will sign new agreements with They - and then we end the conversation. It was really lovely and feels very frivolous and unprofessional! Like when a telemarketer rings and wants to sell lottery tickets or the like. We will never be a customer of Folksam again! And I have not received any response from customer service - Other insurance policies are ALWAYS and within a few days - and they are also nice!
