According to google, 3-stars means the stay was good and that is true for me. The hotel is quiet, despite being near the freeway, and it is nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, there are some frustrating aspects about the place. First, how a hotel is still trying to charge for WiFi is beyond me, especially in Silicon Valley. There was a lack of outlets for charging. There were no offerings for breakfast unless you paid the expensive buffet price. And finally, I am traveling with medication that needs to be refrigerated, but I have to pay extra for an in-room mini fridge. These small details and frustrations make me wonder why I should try staying at a Sheraton/Marriott vs. a cheaper chain that, surprisingly, is usually way more generous with their amenities. Maybe, from now on, I ll look for the Holiday Inn s that will at least offer free WiFi and breakfast, usually for a lower nightly rate.
