I don t think I ve ever had a bad enough experience to jump online and give a review, but my experience at Toyota of Knoxville was bad from start to finish.
I saw a 2010 Toyota Tacoma come up on their website. I immediately went in to look at it, and they could not find the vehicle! I had to locate it for them. Then they didn t know any info on the car. The salesman I was working with was great but just couldn t find any info on the car. The next morning I got an email from a different person and then shortly after got a call from yet again a different salesperson. Long story short, in negotiations they said the car didn t qualify for the lifetime power train warranty and I had to show them a screenshot from their website to show them that it does according to their own guidelines. We finally settled on a price, and I bought the car...meaning they ran my credit and everything was said and done, except they said they needed to keep the car to detail it. Well, I left without the truck and an hour later I got a call saying that the frame was damaged and they couldn t sell it to me! Are you kidding me?! You ran my credit and took all my time just to tell me something you should ve looked at before you put it on your website!?
I have put in two voicemails to the General Manager and he has not returned my call.
The salesman called me two days later trying to offer me a Tacoma with more miles and older year model for more money! Haha! I went and bought a truck from Nissan of Cookeville and my experience was flawless from start to finish!
