I went to an On Time Service Centre today after searching for a local watch repair.

Went to their business, which was a task in itself to find, and pulled on the door handle and they were closed.

The hours advertised said they were open till 3, I could clearly read the wall mounted clock inside and it said 2:45. I knocked and after a short time someone came and let me in and gave me an awkward stare.

I asked if I could get a pin for my watch when they proceeded to tell me that all the repairmen had gone home. I asked if any of them could help me simply find a pin that I could instal myself, explaining that I was from out of town, and they said they could not.

It seems a little odd that the doors were locked early, and when they were opened, no one could help me with something so basic.

Terribly inconvenient, they let down a customer, who was more then happy to support a non "big-box" company.
