We had a twin room and in the basic version simple conditions expected. The beds were ok, cleanliness too. Disrupted in the first place a mini-shower with shower curtain on two sides, the megaschmal passage between bed and wall and the clairaudience. The room was designed for the large space, no double glazing. From the rooms next door you could hear every word and every step triggered a vibration. A suitcase with wheels does not help, because despite the elevator, you have to go back and forth a few steps. In the bathroom there was a constant smell of toilets and the ventilation took forever, until fumes of a shower were processed.
Price for the twin room without breakfast: 134 per night!
Positive highlight is the well-kept small hotel pool, but only with a large hurdles reached - sauna and towels only for an extra charge.

The breakfast for a surcharge of 6.50 pp was good.

When we came back after a first night only after 15.00 o'clock in the room, there was no cleaning service there - not ok, especially since you on the day of your arrival not before 15.00 o'clock without extra charge may relate.

Restaurant in the evening is offered, but only a dish. That is why we have turned our attention elsewhere.

Overall, the price was not nearly an acceptable price / performance ratio, unfortunately!

Valkenburg itself is of course worth a visit :-).
