I m a teenager so this is about the children s and teens area. We never see the adults so if you re a parent worrying about us seeing the adults , we don t. I ll talk about the problems first, I got in trouble for laughing, when I was in the game room or whatever I had a migraine and it took a while for them to let me go take a pain killer, but they did. One worker raised their voice at me which really bothered me but I wasn t acting my best, I was playing around with my roommate . Group was alright the day room was normally pretty loud but there s a lot of us. Maybe 15 people? Not sure. Now for the good stuff. School was pretty fun there, each grade gets different work, food was pretty good and one nurse let me have a yogurt since I didn t like what we were having , you can have pie if you finished your food after lunch and dinner, outside was pretty fun, definitely wasn t terrible , plus you could go inside and color or watch a movie. Most people were kind and tried to understand that we re all in here to get the help we need, you re normally only in there for 6-14 days , 14 days is really rare. Honestly I was really lucky to get there when I did it helped me a lot . If you re thinking about going there I would recommend it. I don t know about the adults but overall a great step to getting better
