Gate hardware is not compatible with a 6" diameter...

Gate hardware is not compatible with a 6" diameter farm gate post such that when closed, and moved to the the open position, the gate (16') sticks out about a foot into the driveway.

The antenna must be in clear line of sight and then you must be within 10-12 feet for the controller to trigger. Not so good for a gate that requires 16 ft to open. It does work eventually on exit if you roll down your window and stick your arm up above the roof wave it around, and press the open button a few times.

The gate board failed after only three months. I got a return authorization and shipped it on 9/11/2020, confirmed delivery on 9/15. Emailed 3x to get a delivery date with no response. Called the number listed for the repair center and it was disconnected.

They should have just sent me a new board.

The tech, Dan,was good (except he did not respond to my email inquiries, but he only did what he was told to do with regard to repair or replacement.

The whole thing is cheaply built and it shows it.

update:

I was notified by Sara (I had to call) today 10/7/2020 that the parts needed to repair the board will not be available until the end of December. I will not be having the use of the gate for another two months.
