After reading reviews and questions answered was excited to see a children's museum. I just moved here from DC and had different expectations on what is considered a children's museum.

I took my 12 and 14 year old and could not have been more disappointed. I would say the based on the activities there it was definitely for a 10 and under crowd. Both of my kids found everything boring begged me to get them out of there quickly. All the employees were very friendly and helpful however not for the tween market. We have done the children's museum in DC and in Nashville and they had exhibits for all ages and plenty that had me engaged. The Austin Public library was a nice alternative once we left.
